1. The Folly of the False Teachers (9-10)

The False Teachers were arrogant and ignorant
They slander what they dont know or understand
They talk without thinking, without all the facts and from emotion, pride, and selfish desires.
How do we gaurd ourselves?
Think biblically, not naturally.
Michael understood his position, they did not.

2. The Woe of the False Teachers (11)

Jude pronounces a wor.
Cain
Outward not inward righteousnesss, attack those who are faithful
Ballams Error
Focused on Money
Korahs Rebellion
They Reject Authority for their own desires

3. The Uselessness of the false teachers (12-13)

hidden reefs - “pretending to be full of love and concern for others yet they are selfish and self centered. they are slow to reveal themselves.” When they do they damage the church.
Shepherds- They only worry about themselves
Water less clouds- They promise much but deliver little. Appearing to have the refreshing water of they word and they prey on others as they move. They leave their followers parched.
Fruitless trees- Death runs throughout what they teach. Twice dead
Wild waves - They make a lot of noise with great words and their life does not back up what they say.
wandering stars- they promise spiritual light but they are aimless, erratic and destined for condemnation.
