Will you give Me a ride?
Jesus is asking this Generation: “Will you give Me a ride?”
Prophetic Donkey
- The only donkey in the history of the world that was prophesied.
- We are prophesied generation (Joel); generations before us paid our freedom with their own blood
- Nature and stories in the Bible are shadows of our relationship with God, God created them like vine and the branches to show us the more important lessons in life
- Donkey is prophetic picture of our generation
Jesus is on His way to the city before His departure
- The Lord has in need of you
- It’s not usage of you but cooperation with you He desires
- Jesus is the Savior of the world not of certain race, religion, or group of people
The King on the donkey makes Him meek and us privileged
- It’s not a shameful fact to have the King of Kings on us but it’s an honor
- God wants us cooperate with us winning His world, it’s a privilege, of course angles could do it but...
- Christ in us is God’s gift to us, we in Christ is our gift to God
Donkey is owned
- Clay never owned or created the potter as branch never owned the vinedresser
- Good Shepherd owns His sheep (John 10)
- Story of the prodigal son: he took what was his father 2/3 of possession; and used it for his gain
- Adam and Eve in garden saying: what a wonderful world we created
- If there would be no God there would be no you, no fun, no anything
Donkey is made for a rider (as car for a driver)
- If you refuse to be a son that serves you will be a slave that works
- What we call freedom God calls bondage and what we call bondage God calls freedom
Donkey was never used
- Don’t give yourself to cheap losers that will use you as a napkin to wash their nosy pride but instead save yourself for the King that will treat you like a princess
City will not be moved unless Christ sits on you
- The reason why the devil is above you and on you all the time because Jesus is under you. If Jesus is on you or above you the devil will have no other place in your life then to be under you “Submit to God resist the devil and he will flee from you”
- Christ will not walk by your side – it’s not about you – if He cannot ride on you then He doesn’t needs you
- Jesus don’t except the donkey to know the directions except to just go where He wants her to go
Hassanna to the King not to the donkey
Why Christ is not glorified as in Matthew 5:16? Because is not Lord of our life
Put some clothing on your naked ribs
- They put clothes on the donkey, but every donkey after sitting on it your will have hurting bat – something all of us have that needs to be covered with humility and that is “self”
- We wander why Jesus gets tired riding on us, it’s fun but deeply painful
- Donkey’s saddle sitting on your ribs
The Answer is yours: WILL YOU GIVE ME A RIDE?
