what is the full tithe?
We must remember its not just money… its in everything God has give us
Mental, Physical, Work, Talents, Financial, family, and time
Mental, Physical, Work, Talents, Financial, family, and time
what kind of Mental areas must we give to God?.... our minds
What kind of Physical areas must we give .... our strengths, labors, and work. We must live healthy lives the best we can.
What kind of Work must we give … our Jobs being deligent, attending church (lifegroups, bible studies etc…)
What kind of talents must we give .... our mouths, ears, hearts, hands, and feet.... Eph 6:10 because God has a purpose for each of us. see also Matt 25:14-30
What kind of Financial must we give… Tithes and offering, whole heartedly… 2 Cor 9:6-7 - 6 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully[a] will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
What must we give with our Family .... each member up, being the servant leaders of our home. Do not love your family members more than God .... Matt 10:37 - “Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me”
What kind of Time must we give … prayer, fasting, and devotion. Attending church, being faithful to God’s calling. This doesn’t mean that we must be in church 24/7, it means we must do the best we can to walk in the calling of God and know that 1 Peter 3:15 says - 15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,
Stewardship is often talked about in many ways as money, but the reality of the matter is that its so much more. We are a living temple of which God dwells in. We must remain humble in all areas, and remember that we are responsible for all that God has given to us. When we give Him our all, we make His storehouse full. When we are commited, we will have no need!
