We need to practice in our lives what we do when we are watching television. If we see something on television we don't like, it's no big deal — we just change channels. We need to do the same thing with our lives. When negative images of the past pop up in our minds unexpectedly, we don't need to pull up a chair and get some popcorn as if we are getting ready to enjoy a movie. Instead, we need to quickly change channels. If we can do that with our televisions, we ought to do it with our lives.
