MSG- I need to emphasize, friends, that our natural, earthy lives don’t in themselves lead us by their very nature into the kingdom of God. Their very “nature” is to die, so how could they “naturally” end up in the Life kingdom?

If the dead in Christ are raised from the dead when Christ returns, what are they doing currently?

Envision that with me. If you could live your life, every moment of your life with a finger hold on eternity that was just around the corner?

Does the way you live your life, the choices you make and the direction you choose to lead, Does that emphasize the reality that Paul told us through the Word of God that you would never taste death? That sin has lost all power over you? That we have victory through Christ Jesus?

What if we started taking on a mentality of, God wear me out. God exhaust me with the moments I have today because eternity is so much bigger, longer and permanent.
That’s what we miss by not grasping the eternal state of our existence.
