When the church is involved in mission, we will find that the treatment dished out to John will be dished out to all who will be faithful to God in speech and behaviour. Opposition will come - & understandably so - because the world has chosen to take the opposite direction to God’s will & purposes. It has chosen to follow its own path rather than obey the path of God which is found in the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
