TRUST IN THE LORD

PSALM 37:3-4, 5-6, 39-40

 

 

Psalm 37:3-4 (Amplified)

       3Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed.  4Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.

 

God is in control, however our part is to TRUST Him.

 

We can know we have confidence in God by answering the following questions:

 

1. Are you ______________ what is _______________ in

 

the ________________ of God?

 

2. Are you getting __________ of the _______________ in

 

your _____________ that __________________ God?

 

3. Do you _____________ God ______________________?

    5Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.  6And He will make your uprightness and right standing with God go forth as the light, and your justice and right as [the shining sun of] the noonday.

TRUST IN THE LORD

God is in control, however our part is to TRUST Him.

 

We can know we have confidence in God by answering the following questions:

 

1. Are you doing what is right in the sight of God?

 

2. Are you getting rid of the things in your life that displease God?

 

3. Do you trust God completely?

 

4. Are you holding on to the things of God and keeping His commands?

 

If you answered the preceding questions truthfully in the affirmative then you can have the absolute confidence of the following results:

 

5. God will be with you.

 

6. You won’t be distracted by others because of their disobedience.

 

7. Satan will try to strike fear into your heart.

 

8. But God is for us and not against us, if we are for God.
