A child exited about something that he is doing or getting
this is the ultimate excitement!
Jesus is in the room
How much can a 6 month old fetus understand? I don’t know
But he is exited
This Jesus he will devote his life to learning about
He will learn of all of the Prophecies , all of His characteristics
he will study this Man like its his life’s passion
life’s goal
to know the Messiah then ultimately prepare the way for his arrival
all of this will be under the guidance of the Holy Spirit

in the Old Testament times people were filled to do certain tasks

And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, “See, I have called by name Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. “And I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in discernment, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship,

Blessed here on the outward the poor girl should be pitied
but because of God she could be envied
Mary is happy, congratulated by Liz for her carrying the Messiah
Here is the place that the Roman catholic church puts Mary on the same as Jesus
The Fruit of her womb is the Messiah

not the mother of God. God has existed from eternity
V 43 Elizabeth is ecstatic that the mother of the Christ has visited her

what would we do if Jesus came for a visit?
we come here and visit with Jesus every week
we invite Him to sit with us as we take communion
when we read His word we are listening to Him speak to us

David was promised the throne even though he was hunted by Saul
his family was taken captive

Jesus in the beatitudes gave more reasons for blessing

The world happiness comes from fleeting things
a new car disney, new home, job, new relationship
but God given blessed, is much different
V 45 Blessed are those who believe there will be a fulfilment
were are not necessarily happy because of the circumstances we are going through
we can be happy through because we know the ending
our trust is in our Savior, our groom, who bought us from the slave market of sin
The Father adopted us out of the Family of Satan
We are blessed because we are believers in the finished work of Jesus on the cross
The unbeliever does not have this hope
their hope lies in their good works
their compassion to the homeless, sick puppies, starving children
in the eyes of the world these are noble things, worthy of praise
but in the eyes of God they are filthy rags
the Jehovah’s witness are working their way to God
the seventh day Adventist is working their way to God
the satanist believes lucifer is god and is working to please him
the new age eastern mysticism believe every one is a god working toward a higher plane
How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the way of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of Yahweh, And in His law he meditates day and night. And he will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. the believer is promised nothing but hell on earth but is blessed through it
the unbeliever/ worker seeks heaven on earth but is condemned to hell for eternity
Can we sing along with Elizabeth that Jesus is here
Can we do back flips with John the Baptist that His Messiah has come
Mary is blessed not because of her status in the wold but because she is carrying the lord Jesus in her body
can we say the same?
