Pride
Pride goes before destruction,
and haughtiness before a fall.
But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
Then he told them a story: “A rich man had a fertile farm that produced fine crops.

Desperate or Bust
One of the things that that we need freedom from the most in order to truly experience what God has for us is the Spirit of pride.
We reach a certain level of dedication and then back off because we feel like people will judge us for our commitment.
We need freedom from pride so we can walk in a level of desperation that is attractive to God.
GOD IS NOT MOVED BY DISCIPLINE, GOD IS MOVED BY DESPERATION

Insecurity is a common form of pride
Maybe you feel like you aren’t prideful because you have a low self esteem.
PRIDE IS NOT THINKING TOO MUCH OF ONE’S SELF BUT THINKING OF ONE’S SELF TOO MUCH!
Some of you have subconsciously reached a level of being proud of how unusable you are.
WHEN GOD SAYS HE HAS A PLAN FOR YOU…You argue that He couldn’t use you.
THAT IS A VERSION OF THE SPIRIT OF PRIDE!

Fear
Fear
He replied, “I heard you walking in the garden, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked.”
Fear is the first byproduct of sin.
Fear resulting from failure caused man to run from intimacy with God.
Some of you are so aware of your shortcomings that you are fearful to even encounter God.
THAT IS A SPIRIT AT WORK IN YOUR LIFE!
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

Rejection
Rejection
Some of you in this room are hearing the words of other as the voice of God.
You’ll always be...
You’ll never be more than...
You shouldn’t have even been born...
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed.
How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.
They cannot be numbered!
I can’t even count them;
they outnumber the grains of sand!
And when I wake up,
you are still with me!

Your Mistakes didn’t make you
You may feel rejected because of your mistakes
Maybe you’ve had attractions your ashamed of
Maybe you’ve had some questions regarding identity
YOU’VE FELT REJECTED BY THE CHURCH OR PEOPLE OF THE CHURCH FOR THOSE STRUGGLES.
YOUR MISTAKES DIDN’T MAKE YOU…YOU MADE THEM...
Creators can be correctors
Creators get to be definers
When you understand that your mistakes didn’t make you but you made them you get to define what they mean in your life.
GOD IS YOUR CREATOR…THEREFOR HE IS YOUR DEFINER.

Sin/Strongholds
Sin/Strongholds
Being fearfully and wonderfully made means that God has an intended form for your life.
That form is found when you know Jesus and walk in the righteousness that He has for your life.
THERE IS A SUBSTANCE THAT WHEN INSERTED INTO THE EQUATION MESSES UP THAT FORM.
HAMARTIA: The word sin, is hamartia, from ha, negative and meros, form, thus to be without form or identity; hustereo, to fall short, to be inferior, doxa, glory, blueprint, from dokeo, opinion, intent.)
Your sin has detracted you from your intended form.
Sin begins to do projects when we practice it.
Every sin is a piece of a project…IT BUILDS STRONGHOLDS
STRONGHOLDS ARE ESTABLISHED PATTERNS OF THINKING!
When you stop sinning it doesn’t break down the work that the sin has done.
We have to go to something stronger than discipline to break down strongholds.
Well, I am begging you now so that when I come I won’t have to be bold with those who think we act from human motives.
We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.
Tonight we are are coming after established patterns of thinking that have been set in stone by repeated struggles with sin!
God can give you freedom of thought if you stop trying to get it right with self discipline or carnal means.

You’ve been emptied…Now let’s get full
You’ve been emptied…Now let’s get full
When you accept Jesus…you become a host to the presence of the Holy Spirit.
“And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.”
Endue: TO ENTER INTO, GET INTO (LIKE CLOTHES)
Many of you have had this experience tonight as you have walked through these freedom prayers.
We get to put on the Holy Ghost…We get to experience what it would be like to have His power in our lives.
It was an endued with power experience that drove the disciples to the upper room to pray for the HS in the first place.
(A) Stopping at endued leaves you exposed
Now that you’re free…you are in prime position to take your next step.
You’re spirit and your mind have bene filled by things that are unclean but when you have experienced freedom those unclean things have been expelled!
“When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, seeking rest but finding none. Then it says, ‘I will return to the person I came from.’ So it returns and finds its former home empty, swept, and in order. Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. And so that person is worse off than before. That will be the experience of this evil generation.”
ILLUSTRATION: WHEN YOU EXPERIENCE THE ENDUMENT…YOU GET CLEANED OUT…BUT YOU ARE STILL SUSCEPTABLE TO THE SAME SPIRITS.
Endued with power is an experience
BUT GOD WANTS TO GIVE YOU MORE THAN A NEW EXPERIENCE
HE WANTS TO GIVE YOU A NEW EXISTENCE!
On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.
