The Savior’s been crucified it is Friday night.
His body has been prepped, He has been laid in the tomb, the tomb has been sealed, the guards have been posted is is Friday night.
The disciples are scattered, the people afraid, the Pharisees hunting them down, its Friday night.
Hope has been lost, the King lay dead, the enemy rejoices its Friday night.
Anybody ever have a Friday night?
I’ve been in that place of despair where it seems like there is no way out, no answers to the problems, all hope has faded, I have seen my fair share of Friday nights, but Sunday’s on the way!
And folks, today Sunday’s here.
It’s here everyday that we draw breath.
I know it’s hard to see sometimes and we can be overwhelmed with the world we live in but Sunday’s here.
