Two Tree of Life

Introduction

Todays our high school commission ceremony and i wanted to share this message about the tree of life.
In the garden there two trees and one tree was the tree of life and the another is a tree of knowledge and Good and eveil and it lead to dealth. From the beginning of oyr scriptures where placed with two choices one choice leads to life and the another choice leads to dealth, toil and separtation. In scripture you wills see Gods will, creation and life compared with emenys will, his twisted creation, and way of thinking.
Mose staff verses The egipyian staff
Jesus being the lionof judah but The emeny being like a lion isnt the lion
God of this world and God of everything
This world thinking verses heavens way of thinking

Transition

James 1:17 NIV
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
Everything that exists thats Good comes from God but th ememy will twist it make it look beauitful but it leads to dealth.
He cant produce anything Good but he takes what is been created Good and twist it.
When your in high school you sometimes feel like your missing out, if feel unsatified, you feel like the world has something that i dont have and lets be honest you feel like holiness everything God wants us to do is boring or uninterseting. That is a lie and im speaing from perosnally experience. i clearly remeber the day i decided to go all in on jesus i had these thoughts like its boring, unsatifing, not fun and it was the lies of the ememy to hold me back from give myslef fully to jesus.
Jesus promises sataifaction for your hunger
Jesus promises satifcation for your thrist
Jesus promises satifaction for soul
There is a condition

Transition

There people in this room asking well i want that or i have grown up around christianity my whole life and i havent experienced that but let me give you this illustration.

Jesus is a Tree of life

Illustration

Real Apple vs ake apple
Imagine going into your moms kitchen and there you see two apples, one apple is the real apples from storestore and the another apples are for decorations. But you cant tell the difference because they look so alike. Your around it all the time, you tryed smelling it, you even asked your parents questions about which is real but will all those things give life to your body. If talk about the apple , look at the apple, smell the apple those thing might help you examine if its real but evenually you need to coniutinely eat the apple or it wont benesit you. You must conutinely feed on Jesus
Jesus is the tree of life

John 15:1-15

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
