Christmas can be summed up in one verse in the Bible and most everyone knows this verse by heart.
Believing in Jesus and in the one who sent Him is key to having eternal life.
Believing is receiving, receiving the gift God has afford to all those who will come to Him.
Death is then not feared.
For death has no more victory of those who have received the precious gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Nevertheless, our bodies will die, however we who are in Christ have a hope of eternal life beyond the grave.
However the promise and gift of life doesn't end there.
The scripture continue to reveal something marvelous that will come.
For we shall all be changed at the Rapture or the Snatching up, the great gathering of the Church the Bride of Christ when our groom shall come back for us.
When this happens dear friends something else more glorious and spectacular will happen.
For shortly after His glorious appearing and final judgment is made upon who chose not to believe in Him (Jesus) This same Jesus who spoke all creation into existence will recreate the heavens and the earth to its previous glory before the great fall.
This even is recorded for us in 2 Peter as well as in Revelation
Let us conclude this morning by just seeing exactly what God’s Word of promise says about the new heaven and the new earth…which by the way is our future eternal home with the one who gave us this everlasting life.
These this by dear ones will soon come to pass.
The gift of God has been presented the question is have you reach out in Faith to receive it as your own.
We have HOPE and Hope has a name and His name is Jesus.
This Christmas day remember the Hope Christ has brought
Through His hope we experience
Holiness
Objectiveness
Peace
Everlasting Life.
