Let there be light
Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters
Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.
Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.
Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.
Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.
Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds...
Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion … over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth
Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion … over every living thing that moves on the earth
THE TREE
You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.
“BUT… It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.

Where are you?
Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?
What is this that you have done?
“Because you SERPENT have done this,
cursed are you above all livestock
and above all beasts of the field;
on your belly you shall go,
and dust you shall eat
all the days of your life.
15 I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and her offspring;
he shall bruise your head,
and you shall bruise his heel.”
And to you woman...
“I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing;
in pain you shall bring forth children.
Your desire shall be contrary to your husband,
but he shall rule over you.”
And finally to you...
“Because you have listened to the voice of your wife
and have eaten of the tree
of which I commanded you,
‘You shall not eat of it,’
cursed is the ground because of you;
in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;
18 thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you;
and you shall eat the plants of the field.
19 By the sweat of your face
you shall eat bread,
till you return to the ground,
for out of it you were taken;
for you are dust,
and to dust you shall return.”

BUT there IS HOPE!
Behold, the days are coming… when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
…But I will give you a sign - Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (God with us)
TONIGHT - we’ve heard the words of God - to US...
From Creation - where ALL that God created - was good
To our Separation from God - when SIN entered humanity (the fall of mankind)
HOPELESSNESS in the world - APART from God!
TO NOW - Reconciliation - a NEW HOPE for Mankind - TO ALL WHO Believe!
LISTEN - Have you experienced the Saving Power of Christ at the cross?
The Bible tells us that ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God
That the wages of SIN - is death - AND SO we all deserve death
BUT - that God sent His son - Jesus - to LIVE a perfect life...
to DIE on the cross for sinners
to take upon Himself the wrath due us!
to be RAISED again on the 3rd day - conquering DEATH!
He’s alive today...
The Bible tells us that we if REPENT (if we TURN from ourselves) - of our sins and TRUST in Jesus for His work...
Jesus Himself - - the MERCY seat...
If we trust in Him - we will BE SAVED!
FREE from death and SEALED IN CHRIST
We can ONLY TASTE the MERCY of God - In Jesus Christ
This is WHY He came!
JESUS - is the Good News of the Gospel!
And if you HAVE surrendered yourself - to Jesus - THEN YES _ be thankful!
- ...Yes, be thankful for reconciliation, justification, forgiveness, eternal life….but push through all of them to JESUS Christ, because the Bible does.
JESUS is our goal.
JESUS is our good news.
I want Christ, I want to know Him more, I want to be more like Him…I GOTTA HAVE HIM!
HIM!
HIM!
He is God’s final revelation
He is the heir of all things
He is the creator of the world
He is the radiance of God’s glory
He is the exact imprint of God’s nature
He upholds the universe by the Word of His power
He made purification for sins
He sits at the right hand of the Majesty
He is God, enthroned forever with the sceptor of uprightness
He is worshipped by angels
His rule will have no end
His joy is above all other things in the universe
He took on human flesh, He was crowned with glory and honor because of His suffering
He was the founder of our salvation
He was made perfect in all of His obedience by His suffering
He destroyed the one who has the power of death, the devil
He delivered us from the bondage of fear
He is a merciful and faithful High Priest
He made propitiation for sins
He is sympathetic because of His own trials
He never sinned
He offered up loud cries and tears with reverent fear and God heard Him
He became the source of eternal salvation
He holds His priesthood by virtue of an indestructible life
He appears in the presence of God on our behalf
He will come a second time to save those who are eagerly awaiting Him
He is our final reward
He is the same, yesterday, today, and forever
He is WORTHY of my life...
4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law,
5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Eternal life is ONLY found in Jesus Christ...
Surrender to HIM....and find LIFE!
