I love the Christmas season. I have been playing Christmas music since Nov 1st. As soon as we got home from trick-or-treating, I began making my Christmas playlist. I love the classics. (list one), love the contemporary (name some). Even Stevie wonder and now John legend. But my favorite are the ones that have a gospel message to them.
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you, yeah

1. Good News

Fear not
Savior,
Christ, the lord
v. 14

2. Getting close to Jesus

If you are not getting closer to Jesus for Christmas what are you doing?
Straight to Bethlehem (Church. Why cancel Christmas??)
“…In the Manger”. Why is he there?

3. Glorifying God

v.14 The Angels
v.20.
Glorifying and Praising God
Heard
Seen
Just as it had been told
Hark! The herald angels sing
"Glory to the new-born king
Peace on earth and mercy mild
God and sinners reconciled"
Joyful all ye nations rise
Join the triumph of the skies
With angelic host proclaim
"Christ is born in Bethlehem"
Hark! The herald angels sing
"Glory to the new-born king"
