Em cultico uso da palavra "Venha o teu reino quer dizer: “Desce aqui rapidamente para falar comigo.
Poucas autoridades antigas aplicam venha o teu reino como: Envia o teu Santo Espírito e purifica-nos.
Na septuaginta, era frequente o uso da palavra para indicar que as orações subiam até o trono de Deus como em 2 Cronicas 30:27: 27Então, os sacerdotes e os levitas se levantaram para abençoar o povo; a sua voz foi ouvida, e a sua oração chegou até à santa habitação de Deus, até aos céus.
Ou para invocar a presença de Deus com bênçãos sobre si: Salmo 119:77: 77Baixem sobre mim as tuas misericórdias, para que eu viva; pois na tua lei está o meu prazer.
