Word of God (Doctrine)

Teaching/doctrine.
Pre-Pauline
The word of God that the early church had was none other than the teachings of Jesus. And the emphasis of Jesus teaching was to love God, love your neighbor, repent for the kingdom was at hand, He was the messiah.
The church must be committed to word of God.

Welcoming (Fellowship)

Fellowship- “1.friendly association, especially with people who share one's interests.” So, fellowship is the coming together with commonality, and the most common thing being our salvation (Preach).

Worship (Breaking of Bread)

This one is more tricky because at face value we don’t see this as an act of worship. What Luke, the author of this text, is telling us is that as the church was meeting for teaching and fellowship they also met to partake of the Lord’s supper. The breaking of bread is what we now call communion.

Work of the Lord (wonders and signs)

The healthy church just doesn't’ meet and have a good time. It’s good to have a good time but that’s not what healthy is. It’s what it looks like, but not what healthy does.
