God call everyone to serve. not just a few people not Just from the pulpit.

2. Serving grows your relationship With Jesus

10that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
when we start to serve we learn to sacrifice.
as we learn to sacrifice we crucify the flesh.
as we crucify the flesh we die to self.
as we serve we learn to serve we learn to walk in the power of the spirit.
as we learn to walk in the power of the the spirit, we learn that God wants to walk with us.
3. Character is built by using gifts.
