Alimujiang Yimiti is an Uyghur Christian who has been arrested by Chinese authorities. Charged with “revealing state secrets or intelligence to overseas organizations” he is really imprisoned for his Christian faith and his witness to the Uyghur people.
Another Uyghur Christian, Wusiman Yiming, was sentenced in September 2007 to two years of re-education through labor on the same charges.
