How many of you like losing?

God has a message for us today

“Arise, for it is your task, and we are with you; be strong and do it."”Ezra 10:4
Point 1: You have to take a stand
We’ve settled into a mindset of whatever is, is whatever will be
I’m sorry guys - I’ve settled for too little
Where is God in that?
Are we happy with how life is?
Are we happy with who we are?
I’m going are you moving with me?
On this side of risk everything looks scary
Faith is believing in the things not seen
History remembers the first, but never the rest

God is raising up a people who will see beyond themselves and see what He sees
True vision isn't just seeing what is, but what could be
A cook sees a dish not just ingredients
The difference is a recipe
We need to see the goal
God doesn't lead us in leaps of faith, but in steps
We can't do steps to test
We need to do steps to obey

If we ask God will show us His vision
God never shows us things to tease us

If He showed us it all now we would run scared
Often we get comfortable with the status quo
We think as long as we don't challenge status quo we’re safe
I’m tired of good enough guys
I believe there are leaders in here tonight that are ready to see God move
Who are ready to see this city, this world changed
Point 2: We have your back
We can’t do this alone
We all need someone
Batman and Robin, Frodo and Sam, Bert and Ernie, Han And Chewie, Milk and cookies, hamburger and fries, Peanut butter and jelly
A leader without followers is just going on a walk
You need to take others with you
Use your social media
Use your talents
Use your life
We all need to stop being limiters
We all need encouragers
We don’t need more people to tell us why we can’t
It’s one thing to say “you go girl”
We need people who are with us every step of the way
Point 3: Take courage
God is with us
He never leaves us
Always good
Have you ever stepped out so far that if God didn't come through you would have fell?
He can use beyond our skills
Beyond our knowledge
Beyond our personality
Beyond our strength
God knows who you are suppose to be
It can look like a risk
A risk to us is obedience to God
God gave us the victory which means we’re guaranteed to win
But we still have to fight
It's not going to be easy
You do what you can do and God will do the rest
All it takes is someone willing to challenge the status quo
Anytime I take a step of faith I have to battle fear
I use to think when I got more mature that would change, but it doesn’t
Others may mock you
They’ll stop when God comes through
The same people who ridiculed you will come and start asking your advice

People are constantly telling me why I shouldn't pursue that
I believe people are more interested in something real
Don't need an entertainment culture
If you're all coming cause I’m funny or the games you can always find something better or someone funnier
I believe the watered down version of church and Jesus are far less attractive
You be you
God doesn't help those who are trying to be someone they're not
My first sermon
You simply be you and do what God asks
We cannot simply copy what others have done cause we aren't them
Point 4: Just do it
Now’s the time to move!

I don't care what it takes. How hard the fight is, how dark the night is, how long it will Last.
The time Is now! We are with you! God is for you! Will you do it?!
