Well, good morning, everyone. Linda's opening prayer. Are there only. Father, we thank you for this day. We appreciate your great mercies and loving. Kindness. What you poured out upon us, we thank you for this opportunity. This opportunity of worship or his return, to study, you work your word. We find our souls are thinking the context of our living focused on you. So we pray that you would the conformist, your image. You would Minister To Us by the power of your spirit. And we take this opportunity to confess any known sin that we might move forward in the filling of your spirit empowered by you. For this, our work of worship to you. You're crazy things in Christ. Jesus name.

One more thing to get up here. My notes.

All right, will last week we have to rush to put together the ending and we ended up seeing how the great Assyrian King. Who threatened Hezekiah and Jerusalem and all the remnants of Judah. Dared, to also breathe, the means threats towards Yahweh, the god of Israel. Hezekiah cried out to God and Isaiah responded to Hezekiah on behalf of God. Now, we had to fast forward, the move quickly through bad section last week, so him and I appreciate your patience. During that time, I pushed a little bit over in time, but we got through what we needed to do, but want to go back since we had to fast forward and move quickly through that section. Last week, I want to replay some of that discussion that history as it is captured in Isaiah. So for those of you who weren't here for a second service, you have a reprieve, you have an opportunity to hear a little bit of what we are out with. So where in Isaiah 37?

Verses 8 through 20. And will begin reading there, just to remind ourselves. Then the Wrap Shack returned. Now the rap Chaka. Remember is the spokesman the Emissary, the ambassador of the great king, sennacherib of the empire. Have you found the king? So the King was right there in Judo Waging War, along with everyone else. The king of Assyria warring against libnah, one of the walled cities, there are you trying to take down another of the walled cities of Israel or of Lord Judah, and it already taken down almost 140. Walled city is very concrete. One after another beating them down, and beating them down, and taking him over, and he had heard. That is Rob Shaka that he had departed from leeches. Now, lay Trish is kind of the Home Depot the place where they centered and made their headquarters as they were attacking all of Judah. The lower Kingdom Universe 9. The king heard concerning to Haka king of Ethiopia. He has come out to make war with you. So the king of Ethiopia that is Northern Africa, has Allied himself with with Egypt and turns out soon, Acura is at war with those Babylon on one side. And on the other side, he's at war with Egypt. And while he's at war with Egypt and Babylon, his sacking and taking all of Israel and everything in between. So, he's expanding out. He has war on multiple fronts, and he just learned, there is the new album, by this come into the opposing forces against him. And so, when he heard it, he sent Messengers to Hezekiah Because Hezekiah was sitting in Jerusalem in. This is the gym. This is the spot which he wants to conquer, because once he has, he can say, I have taken Israel and Judah and I have overthrown. All of the land of Yahweh Bruce Karen. You shall speak to his ikaya king of Judah saying. Do not let your God in whom you trust just Seaview. Music using Jehovah. Deceiving Hezekiah. Do not let your God in whom you trust the Seaview saying Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria. Don't let him fool you, you are mine and I am taking Jerusalem. Verse 11. Look, you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to All Hands by utterly destroying them. And Shout, you be delivered. Everyone else has fallen through all of my predecessors. The Syria has conquered and conquered and conquered, shall you be delivered verse 12, How the Gods of the nation's delivered? Those who my father's have destroyed?

Goes in and Karen and Steph, and the people eat in who were into Lasser. So I showed you where those cities were last week. Couple of them were actually right in that region of Israel and Judah. In a couple of them were way back over in the South one of them. That is to ask her is actually down below. Number one, rule has been advised up at the top of the river in the Mesopotamian Valley. So we have none of that. The talk babbling below. And then we have Israel, I should flip this around because I'm trying it from my perspective. So we have none of that the top. And then down here we have Babylon and then over here across the belly, we have the Mediterranean right here and then we have Israel and Judah. And so we have snack around, was conquered everything. In all of Israel and is working on Judah. Right now as we speak, he's also going after Babylon and then he's going after Egypt, which is down here. And then we have the northern African area who has also jumped in and said we're going to help out that's what's happening. But he says, with much bravado, I have conquered everyone everywhere.

Kind of like that song I've Been Everywhere, Man. We're thirteen. Where is the king of the math? The king of our pad and the king of the city of cephalic vein henna and Eva. Each of these Are Walled cities that have been decimated in destroyed by him first, 14 and Hezekiah, received this letter. Apparently, this was written out in the form of a letter and it was dispatched to Hezekiah to take the steam out of whatever resistance, he may have God.

Just amazing to me how applicable sometimes this stuff is to our own lives.

The relatability to what's going on? We feel like we are the last stronghold left. But there isn't much hope if only God, we think with our enemy, the enemy of our soul. The one who is taking a disproportionate amount of territory around us Whispers and sends letters to us and he directs it directly at us and he says, you don't have any help. You don't have any way of getting out of this. That's exactly what's happening here to Hezekiah. He's being told that there is no way.

But we really need Hezekiah, received the letter from the hand of the messenger. And read it. You merely sat down and wrote out a response. That's what we might do. Sit down and write out of flaming response or crawl under the table and begin to cry. Like your earthquake is coming to take us but we have no where we do weird things, sometimes we need a dark space to crawl and cry.

The shutdown of the Soul, it's a darkness of the soul that comes over us. We don't have any opportunity. We don't think from our perspective in our Waze is it our means to be able to deal with what's going on. But God sees all this but here's what has a kind of did. None of those things says he went up to the house of the Lord. And spread it that is the letter before the Lord.

He went to the place where you get Divine wisdom. Divine perspective. And divine comfort.

The. Proffit Road Comfort Co Comfort. Ye my people.

Says your God. Bue comforted, he says speak to Israel. That yourself vacation is not. I become for the person in the work of the Lord. Jesus Christ is always the place we go to for Comfort. No matter what you're going through, no matter how difficult, how painful whatever it is completely out of your control. Some of us don't mind. Some of us are willing to be rolled over by the tanks of Life. Others of us are willing to put everything on the line and push and push and shove a heart breaks. From the resistance at that moment cuz we're trying to push back against those tanks. The Warfare. Because the card I hear is in the house of the Lord, he has gone to the place. When it is wise for a king to go for a king whose ruling over a people for a king who's in the place that having the last stronghold left.

For that Kingdom. When the king Falls, the king done is gone. You don't have a kingdom without a king. Now they may take your territory and fight it back but as long as you have a keen, you have the opportunity to come back. That's why it's difficult for us in the representative. Democratic Republic that we live in because we have a hard time figuring out, what is the king we've divided up the powers. So some of the king is in the executive branch, some of it is in Congress, some of it is in the judicial branch. We have taken the concept of cleaning and we spread it out, but tyranny. Can't take all because we fear to her, At least our founding fathers. Did we seem to be walking wholesale into tyranny as a country, giving more and more and more power to the executive branch to do? All of this apparatus of executive cited? Government was never intended, by our founding fathers at all. There is absolutely no intention. In fact, if you read The Federalist Papers, everything they stood for was to stop the encroachment of the executive branch, which we now have. I can't remember what I heard at last count. We have

Hi, I can remember the number of people who work for the federal government. It is it is astounding but Again, we come back to Hezekiah and what he is showing us, he spread out this letter before the Lord and verse 15, then has a car. I I prayed to the Lord, remember I taught you the model of prayer that we have basically three categories of prayer that is. We have prayer preparation, we have the praying, and then we have what we like to call prayer Pursuit. All of this has to do with an understanding of how we live by faith room. I trust our relationship with God, has to do with our dependence upon Han Solo in prayer and preparation. We spread out the letter of whatever it is in our life. The goal here is to set things objectively before God. And then to take the objektiv things we have in a wine them with Bible doctrine, that we might be able to adjudicate as best as we can our situation. And I'm praying it objectively to the Lord. Can you throw in object abysm? Of course you can, we can't really distance ourselves from it. Jonathan Edwards, the Puritan of a couple of centuries ago. I read you. His His Treatise last week of the sinners in the hands of an Angry God, not to convert you to his theology. Is theology is a little bit different from ours but just to see how he wrote and what it was that caused. This great Revival of people responding to that very letter cuz it was copied and sent to other churches and people fell on their knees weeping and crying. As his note was being read, he didn't preach it, he didn't come and jam it down people's throats, though. The words he certainly did. He was quite strident in his own, his confrontation, but as I understand it from reading it, one of his biographers Ian Murray in his big biography on Jonathan Edwards. He says that he was a man of a humble temperament. And when he read from the podium, people accused him of being monotone, you just read it..................... Read out. He didn't raise his voice or emphasized or come to Great fights. He wasn't a preacher. He was a teacher, who was explaining it, elaborating on the principal and the objectivity of what he had to say is what called people on the carpet called them to see but there will had to respond to God because They were at Great risk. There is no all I'll put this off. Oh no, I'm not accountable. All the arguments that came against he brought forth.

So there is a place for subjectivity and Jonathan Edwards. Wrote about that later in a, in a large study where he talked about the temperaments of the spirit, but as we, as Christians are conform to the ideal of Christ Jesus that are temperament is change. That is our emotions or feelings are responses. That's the way he placed it. Now we've studied in a slightly different perspective, we understand the difference between the different loves. We understand there is a personal love, there is an impersonal live, so we understood those distinctions, he doesn't get that far and maybe neglects those types of distinctions but he does make a case for the subjectivity. But is that of the spirit it comes from knowing the things of God, it does. Poem from having been touched by God and having God's perspective, his just buying for spect, it touch us and therefore our emotions will respond in like time is my dad taught me. The emotions folo you're thinking thinking must come first, emotions can be good, emotions can be bad, but emotions are never to be The Driver of the Soul. They are the appreciator of the soul. That is when they're good, they can be very, very, very good when they're bad. They can be very, very bad opposed to you and to write living and to the spiritual life. So we are to be conformed in such a way. But the holy spirit is driving our objectivity. And then the subject of the emotional can follow afterwards. We are the tendency, especially in this culture to let the emotions be the drivers and you can see it in a non thinking, generation a post-modern generation that comes after it has ideals that are based on emotional reaction, but there is no substance. No truth, no logic, that's there. They need to be immersed in a kettle of logic that they might learn that all the things that they stand for in depend on are actually washed away. When logic is applied, they think they are logical, but they have been to see. They're using false logic thinking, errors that so do not appear to them. So, if we come before the Lord, as Hezekiah, did we? Find ourselves in a place of objectifying, the situation applying Bible Doctrine to it. And then we pray. And then thirdly, We enter into that phase of Faith rest where we rest in the faithfulness of God know we has situations in which we live in a society. Take over our soul, it takes over and becomes a driver and is no longer us and is no longer the word of God exclusively, but it can become the anxiety itself that drives our soul, which means we are ostensibly in a Sim nature controlled situation.

The God would liberate us and free us from that he wants us to walk in Rust. After we pray, we bring our prayers to the Lord and if we have prayed properly, if we have applied Bible, Doctrine and we've come to the lord of the universe who created Bible Doctrine is in charge of everything should not. We then be able to rest. You should come out to where the great conflict of the Christian Life comes in. It's a market, a point of delineation between immaturity and maturity. Do I rust? When I pray, And quite frankly, we have areas of immaturity and maturity intermixed and intertwined in our soul. So don't think that you will have at perfect all the time, depending on the shape of a character of your sim nature. You may find certain types of Faith rust, much more difficult to walk into than other types of Faith rest where we depend on. It has ikaya did this. He prayed to the Lord first 16th and he said Lord of hosts. Here he says, y'all way. Is bored of armies.

God or Elohim Israel. The one who dwells a word in Hebrew Jewish of which means to sit you sit. Between the cherubim. Several. Sessions in here, Sundays, I have been painted Drilling in on this place between the wings of the cherubim hymn, it is the place of atonement. It's a place where the sacrifice of Christ himself has been portal to create propitiation between God and man. We are cleanse. God is satisfied with our standing before him sin is no longer an issue. Miss between the wings of the cherubim is the place where Grace Flows. The Reason God has a Grace policy towards mankind is simply this. He meets us between the wings of the cherubim, he meets us at the place of the work of the Lord Jesus Christ, on our behalf. He continues on, you are God, you alone, you alone of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven on Earth. Not like these other so-called God has been up against before. You are not like them for 17 incline, your ear. Oh Lord, in here, open your eyes, not mention before when he says incline your ear, oh Lord and here. That is our word Shema which means to hear to listen, hear o Israel, the great chamar, the great listening, the point of emphasis in the Old Testament, hear o Israel. The Lord thy God is one God if you're Jewish. Learn that from the time, you can speak from the time. You're two years old going forward. You are taught to say it over and over again, you repeat it multiple times a day. You pray in the morning, you pray in the evening. This is the great touching point for Israel. The relationship between God as they understand it. So Israel and here doesn't mean just listen and means, listen, with the result that you do, Don't be listeners. James told us be those who are doers So we have this being said by God himself, open your eyes or about God himself, open your eyes, oh, Lord, and see, and hear all the words of sennacherib this lying deceiver which he has sent to reproach the Living. God feels cried out against you. Interesting. You doesn't come and say oh Lord. Where It's, it's me. And I need to cry. God Becomes of me, says the Lord. He is.

He is saying bad things about you. I don't know if you've seen the what was going on with, in the news between our royals here, in the United States, and the what was that? Cartoon that they were. Talking about.

South Park. Yeah I think you self Park did a kind of a as they do. They make fun of everybody until they made fun of the prince in his American bride. And so they called it the we want privacy tour and so they show I'm going from place to place.

Mumbai show the princes book and the princess new book title.

I thought that was for me. Anyways, I we don't see the car at doing that verse 18. Truly Lord, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations and their lands and you have Castor Gods Into the Fire for, they were not gods, or I should say and have cast their gods in the fire. Whoever they want, they took the gods and threw them in the fire and said, your gods are nothing compared to our gods for. They were not Gods but the work of his hand wouldn't Stone. Therefore they destroyed them 20, they're for oh Lord, Our God save us from his hand. With all the kingdoms of the earth. May know that you are the Lord. You alone. Interesting me. Hezekiah didn't say save me because I need to be saved. Save me because I'm really, really, really feeling like I can't handle this situation right now and I need you to get No, he said, save us. But you might be glorified that your name might be spoken among all the nations you are the Lord and you alone. He says this isn't about us, it's bigger than us. This is about you, and we need to find that in our prayers because I bet you If you pull a few threads about your situation out ply, some objectivity look at the doctrine around you, that you will find that there is something that is more about God. It is about you find that and pray about that, make that your focus because it should be, it should Because that which is about, God is more important than that, which is about you. We don't think that way in our society we think prayer is about us. Why beg to differ prayer is about God? When we come to God In Prayer, our purpose is to recognize him to glorify him to reveal his grace. We need to be engaged in that, it changes us. That's why they say, a prayer changes you and some people say it flippantly, but I point this out as a distinct reason why and how prayer changes us because the maturity Creeps in as we think about God, in our situation, about how God can be glorified in our situation,

So, moving on. To the end of the matter. What is the end of this situation? We worried about it and 2nd Kings, 19 verses, 32 through 37.

2nd Kings, 19, starting, inverse 32, we read this before, but I again, I want to repeat this. Therefore, thus says the Lord concerning the king of Assyria. This is a response coming back from Isaiah to Hezekiah that he shall not come into this city. Nor shoots an arrow there before it was she alone or build a Siege Mound against it. Verse 33, by the way that he came by the same. Shall he returned? And he shall not coming to the city says, the Lord is replying to that prayer verse 34 for. I will defend this city to save it for my own sake. I am saving this city for my own sake and for my servant David's sake, why? Because there is a davidic covenant, that is to be honored at this time.

First, 35. And it came to pass on a certain night that the angel of the Lord went out and killed in the camp of the Assyrians 185000 then when people arose early in the morning there, where the corpse is all bad.

I told you before that, the King James is a little bit interesting here. King, James Reeds. And it came to pass that night at the angel of the Lord, went out and smoke to mccaffity syrians 104th score in 5000 and when they arose early in the morning behold they were all dead Corpses. make the sound like The people in the Army woke up to find dead corpses but it's actually talking about the people in the city. When they woke up, they saw a dead corpse is that were there are burst 36. So sumac Arab king of Assyria Departed. And went away return home and remained at none of it. I would say that is a kind way of saying he tucked his tail between his legs and straight as fast as a dog, can Scurry in the opposite direction to get away because he knew he was a risk. If 185,000 of his men are slaughtered in a night under his command, when he is coming up against the city of Jerusalem, suddenly he knows what he's up against that he is not fighting against Jerusalem, is not fighting against Hezekiah to his great Chagrin. He realizes, he is fighting against the Lord. Yahweh the creator of Heaven and Earth verse 37, and now it came to pass cuz he was worshipping in the temple of Miss Rock. He is God. Read his son's, the drummer way and sure was there, struck him down with the sword and they escaped into the land of Ararat in the Region's up. North, then when his son rained in his place,

He did not survive so don't be throwing names at our Lord. I would not want to be an atheist or a any other religion who is casting aspersions at Yahweh. Not a wise thing to do against the creator of Heaven and Earth. We continue on in Second Kings.

25.

So how's the Cuyahoga Surety and a Revival of the land? Is he in the room and stood up? And he called upon the name of the Lord? But then he ended up fathering. One of the most evil Kings of Judah that is Manasseh and with three more evil Kings following after Manasseh until Josiah restored worship to the land, but the people of Judah never did return wholeheartedly to the Lord. We have Jehovah has after Josiah. And then we have jacoya Kim, and then after him jahorina cheering, and then Joya chunes on call. Matt tonight after they were taken by Babylon was renamed zedekiah and the Captivity of Judah occurred and zedekiah resisted, but was caught blinded and taken to Babylon in captivity. So you see, we have a changing of hands from Assyria. Sennacherib was sacked. Babylon, came into a school lesson, his pride, he opposed God, God demun semeka Rob, and he promoted Babylon. Take hope those of you who think it's the men who robbed and the Assyrian Empire has taken everything, and they are leaving, nothing behind. All you need is your prayer unto God, and God will check Change who is in charge. He does it at the flip of a switch. We don't even realize what's going on and suddenly the Babylonians are in charge and they take over everything that was for formerly under the Assyrians, a review that final chapter of captivity The final chapter of captivity of zedekiah and Jerusalem and Judah because it is seldom talked and it also takes us forward to connect to where we are going with our study, so 2nd Kings 20:5. Starting in verse one came to pass in the 9th year of his Reign who attempts month on the 10th day of the month, but Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon and all his army came against Jerusalem and encamped against it. And they built the Seas wall against it all around because we had a bunch of wicked kings that did occupied Jerusalem till we get to the Well, so the city was besieged until the 11th year, a king zedekiah, that is the king who Nebuchadnezzar said you can rule in place of the Holy Ed Sheeran. He's not a good guy not doing what I want but I will take you, he's actually do for your tunes uncle but he's younger.

So that happens sometimes when you have younger uncle's then, then the kids who works out that way, that's what happened here.

First to sue, the city was besieged until the eleventh year of King zedekiah. So he got the ring for 11 years and then first three by the 9th day of the 4th month. The famine had become so severe in the city, but there was no food for the people of the land because they were besiege, they were trapped. There was no way to get food in the city is not an agrarian place. You cannot regain more grain unless you have an Avenue L words to get it to buy it, to bring it in, you can eat the rats for a while. Who won the rats run out, then you have other worse.

What's Savory opportunities, words, for than the city wall was broken through all the men of War let at Night by way of the gate between the two walls note, they did not stay and defend the city that did not stay in. Defend the women of the children, they fled as cowards, which was by the King's Garden, even though the Chaldeans were still in Camp all around against the city and they were less afraid of screwing out and trying to their chances of getting out between the camps tents and the King went by way of the plane, the king himself escaped and fled, from the city. First five, but the army of the Chaldeans, pursued, the king, and they overtook him in the plains of Jericho, all his army was scattered from him. We're six. So they took the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon, a trip law, and they pronounced judgment on him. We're Southern men, they killed the sons of zedekiah before his eyes and put out the eyes of zedekiah. Last thing he gets to see or his own children, slaughtered in front of him and then his eyes or taken when he was bound with bronze Fetters and they took him to Babylon first and then the fifth month on the seventh day of the month which was the 19th year of King, Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, never robbed on the captain of the Guard. A servant to the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem. Personal and he burned the house of the Lord and the King's house. And all the house is a Jerusalem. That is all the houses of the great. He burned with fire. What are we talking about? This is the house that David built. This.

Who's the great House of the king Romero and throughout all the world and he burned it to the ground and he burned the temple down as well. This is the Temple of Solomon, dedicated to the Lord. It was filled with the glory of God burned. All the princes houses, all the great houses were burned, first 10, and all the army of the Chaldeans were with the captain of the Guard, Broke Down the Walls of Jerusalem all around. They destroyed the city, they broke down the Walls, roll them over the abyss down into the valley, surrounding them. Cuz yes, we are on this great. High mount. First 11, then Nebuchadnezzar or Shih. Tzu has been abused earlier than the captain of the Guard carried away. Captive, the rest of the people who remained in the city, and the defectors who had deserted to the king of Babylon with the rest of the multitude. Everyone was taken, they were gathered verse 13, but the captain of the Guard left, some of the poor of the land vinedressers and Farmers. There is agricultural value here in the land. So I took the poor, those who could be laborers and left them to take care of the land that there might be food prepared that Babylon could take and pull in all of this food from far away. It was now there's verse 13, LeBron's pillars, or in the house of the Lord and the carts. And the bronze C. Now we're in the house of the Lord, the Chaldeans broke in pieces and carried their bronze to The Babylon. This seawater is a great, huge, bronze piece of wards of the sanctuary. Huge. Thousands of gallons of water would go into it and it was broken into pieces that the bronze could be taken back to Babylon. It's a great value. Bronze is worth. Great deal. Ventura fly bronze is incredibly worth taking verse 14. They also took away the pots. The shovels, the trimmer is the spoons and all the bronze utensils with which the priest Minister and everything in the temple that was used in the worship of God, was taken verse 15 on the fire pans in the base of the things of solid gold and solid silver. The captain of the Guard took away and we're 16, the two pillars. This is extraordinary. The thing looks solid gold and solid silver. The captain of the Guard took away. Scuse me.

Syria, the two pillars 1C and the two carts with Solomon had made for the house of the Lord. The bronze of all these articles was beyond measure in measurable amounts of bronze, were found here for 17. The height, the one pillar was 18 cubits.

Getting close to 30 ft tall about three stories tall of solid bronze in the capital on. It was of bronze and the height of the capital, what's 3 cubits.

The network and pomegranates all around. The capital were all of bronze. In the second pillar was the same with a network. This war, is it an incredibly powerful, large piece of metal that been poured out, that wood? Go up against any skyscraper that you see today, the amount of bronze that has poured here is staggering, it is beyond the wealth of many entire nations. What was placed here in the temple Verse 18 and the captain of the Guard, took Soraya Soraya, excuse me, the chief, s priest, and the three doorkeeper. So, the people of power who were in charge of the temple and also took out of the city and officer who had charge of the men of War, 5 minutes at King's Close Associates were found in the city with Chief recruiting officer, the Army who mustered the people of the land and sixty men of the people of the land who were found in the City, verse 26. So nebulizer than captain of the Guard took these and brought them to the king of Babylon. A trip law, anyone with any kind of skill, what's? Barbara was taken and confiscated and pulled into Babylon, verse 21 them, the king of Babylon, struck them and put them to death at Rib Loft in the land of the math bus. Judah was carried away captive from its own land. Dire dire last sentence there. Judo was carried into captivity.

I want you to see the devastation of the sacking of Jerusalem and the immensity of it. It was a huge job. The Army comes in and conquers and kills everyone that has no capacity to take on this type of a, of a sacking situation. So they send in a specialist who comes in with his own, Army of people who may destroy the city, they burn everything down, they take everything of value, pull it out and ship it off to Babylon. Then the people cried, wowo, the temple of God has been destroyed. And well they should have and they brought it upon themselves. They themselves did it as God said if you do I will, if you do, I will return to false gods, I will take you from the land. He said, don't want to turn our attention to the second temple after the return of the Jews from Babylon. So we're skipping for everyone is taken into captivity when we have the release of the Jews from Babylon. And the second temple was built under Ezra and Nehemiah. But the glory What is the Shekinah? Glory was not in the second temple as it was in the first temple. Also, the great wealth that we were just examining. There was nothing close to that in the second temple. There were no great big huge. Three-story tall pillars of bronze, that were situated around the temple, none of that existed. They didn't have that well they were scrapping together, a temple. Taking everything they had putting all the gold, they can find getting everything they could dedicated by the king of Babylon to reassemble it, but nothing even close to the former Temple. But even more, the former Temple, the first temple on the day of dedication, the glory of the Lord came and filled that Temple as we have studied. But the second temple, Not the case. It did not happen. But we have an interesting

Couple of things that are prophesied and said by Hagee. I so we return to Hagi i23 IGI, 2 verse 3. Where he comments? Who is left among you, who saw this Temple and its former glory. Is there anyone old enough? We survived. We either went back and came back was taken to Babylon and returned. no, there's there's no one and how do you see it? Now how do you see this Temple? Now in comparison with it, is this not in your eyes as nothing? Isn't this a cardboard Shack in comparison to the Great? Architectural phenomenon that was there previously. And everyone would agree with that. Don't want to skip forward to hug you. I to verse 9 haggai 2 verse 9 will jump forward. A few verses and find something astounding.

The glory of this latter Temple. That is this second temple. This one built by Ezra and Nehemiah shall be greater than the former says the Lord of hosts. And in this place, I will give peace Sim has the Lord of hosts. The Lord of army is the Lord of unlimited resources is telling the people that this second temple will be greater than the first temple with the glory will exceed the first temple. How is that even possible? How can people even imagine that? Ole Miss vs. It turns out that Hagee. I the prophet promised, the glory had departed, and would come in some different and greater way to do this second temple. And I like the Tabernacle and the first temple, the second temple, did not begin with a manifestation manifestation of the Shekinah Glory. But the promise has been made that the glory that departed would common a greater way to that very same second temple. That's what he is saying. Converse 9, we just read. They would again see the manifestation of God's presence in the Shekinah, Glory Shekinah, Glory Temple. The fact that this Temple was destroyed in ad70 at the sacking of Titus tells us that this prophecy was fulfilled.

So now we need to look to see how and where it was for filled. So, what is the Shekinah of the second temple?

The question is on the table. Where could this be fulfilled? Is God a liar. Did he fail to send the Shekinah? Glory to the second temple?

I had a question that came in, but I answered, I told Joy many Forum where I people are. Sending an ask the pastor questions. And here is one that came in from a gentleman, who I chatted with a little bit. And I, he's actually a Street Preacher so-called, and he was a tot buy some Messianic Rabbi, is that is rabbis, who have been converted to the Lord Jesus Christ. And so he had learned some things but because he was a street guy lived on the street and there's a lot that he didn't know, he hasn't been consistent, so he had questions. This was his question.

He said. What are your thoughts on John 1 verses 12 through 13. What are your thoughts on? John 1, verses 12 to 13. I understood what he's talking about. But let's read the text, John 1. First well, but as many as received him to them, that he gave the right to become children of God, to those who believed in his name, first 13, who were born? Not a blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man on. But of God, born of God.

So, I wrote him. Thanks for the question. Seeing as you have learned from some Messianic Jewish teachers, you are likely aware that John 1 verses 12 through 13 is prep for a preparatory for John 1 verse 14. John 1 verse 14 reads and the word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld, his glory, the glory, as of the only begotten of the father, full of grace and truth,

And I wrote it, when I said, where we learn that the Devar that is in verse 14, we learned that the Devar dvar is the Hebrew, which is God's promise of Grace, to mankind of our just simply means word. Has come to dwell or literally to Tabernacle, unfortunately, every Western reader. Misses what is right in the face of every Jewish, Messianic believer or the readers, at the time of John wrote, his gospel that God's Shekinah. Glory has come to Earth to take residence as the Messiah of the Jews being the most uniquely born. Your shoe is Jesus the hypostatic union, the person of the god, man. We should kind of God was brought to appear, among men find in the person of Jesus Christ. Arnold fruchtenbaum in his footsteps of the Messiah points, out the word. Translated, dwelled is the Greek word scaenae. Which parallels the Hebrew word, Shekinah, stain. A Shekinah. And it is a hill in my eyes, for a hellenization of that. Hebrew word does not have any sh or Surround. So they turn this into a

Sosuke name means to Tabernacle, in verse 14, literally reads, the word became flesh and Tabernacle Among Us. In other words, it was a new visible manifestation of the presence of God dwelling. Among men, the result of this Tabernacle was it man were able to behold the glory in the form of a man. That God, man, this is a fulfillment of Isaiah 9:2. Which spoke of the coming of the white Isaiah 9:2. So the people who walked in darkness have seen a great light and those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death upon them, a light has shined So, all of this points to what every Jewish lever in a time of John would understand it just reading through. The first chapter of John Jesus is Emmanuel God With Us and specifically is the Shekinah Glory of God, that is taken up residence. Literally Tabernacle with us through human flesh, as the God man, you see, we read it and we become off. You skated by layers of English in Greek thinking and influence of evangelicals and people around us who fail to go back to the historic context of this passage and see that is written by a Jew to Jews in Greek. In the purpose here, is to show that Jesus is the Shekinah Glory of God. He is the god, man. Who has come to dwell with us on Earth. And this is what John the Baptist attest to that Jesus is God Tabernacle. I'm pitching a tent with men and specifically with Israel as the Messiah. All who accept the attempt at a station of John are born of God, not by being Jewish, not by itself will not by Nature, a few minutes cheeseman's but only accepting. What got what John the Baptist has said. This is a hearing that has never separated from doing which is what James communicate and James 1 versus 21 through 25. I mentioned earlier, but truhearing always involves doing God and contrast, a man always hears and does Deuteronomy 6, Verses 4 through 5. We have the great Shamara that hear o Israel reveals that is real. Wendy's bird and then does not Israel hears. And doesn't do

Over and over Israel, breaks the intent, the purpose, in the meaning of hearing, but God hears and does as understood by Solomon, and his dedication prayer of the temple which we reviewed in 1st Kings, 8 verses 22 to 53. Notice how many times Solomon in that Passage invokes? The Shamar of God, the listening to hearing to both here and do more hear us from Heaven, meaning hear us and do hear us and do and he says it over and over this God. Mel does house is recorded in John. Chapter 1. You see, Jesus is the doing of the hearing of God. So you shua Jesus as the Messiah. The God man is the Shekinah. Glory of God, the source of Salvation, and the reflection of the Integrity of God, who does both here and do, that was my response.

Which actually fit perfectly into what I needed to cover this morning. Spring Hill, the Lord Works. Those little things out. Now continuing on with our story, The Shekinah Glory. Reappeared in a completely new form in the Fulfillment of the Hagee. I prophesy of this is the point of John 1 through 11 through 14. This passage proclaims the coming of the Shekinah light and they knew visible manifestation verse 14 seen here focuses on the new form of the Shekinah. Glory, the word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory glory. As of the only begotten of the father full of grace and truth, Do it again. Arnold fruchtenbaum hits it on the head. The one to read what he says about this. Besides the many times that Jesus walked in the temple compound during his ministry, full fill the prophecy of haggy, I give Glory was manifested by his cleansing of the Temple of the money changers and sellers of sacrifices. But his teaching in the temple compound, especially during the Feast of Passover and Tabernacles, and I would add a Hanukkah, The parallel with the Old Testament should be meant should not be missed in the beginning of its history. The Shekinah Glory appeared and disappeared before making a more permanent Road in the Tabernacle in the temple.

You been deported from the Mount of Olives and New Testament history at first appeared and disappeared and then came in a more permanent form in the person of the Messiah abiding with Israel for an extended. Of time later it to departed. Israel, from the Mount of Olives. After a public Ministry of three and a half years,

and the next, we come to the Transfiguration,

I know, I shouldn't know it's

fruit and bomb believes that the

Angel for the light that appears to the Shepherds is a manifestation of the Shekinah Glory. Then he has exegetical reason for that because it talks about a light that comes forth, which is what we see in every case where we have the Shekinah Glory, you also thinks that the that the guiding star, the wise men as the manifestation of the Shekinah, Glory and not something is happening in the heavens. In the reason he said that is because this star moved, north and south east and west. It moves in a very erratic pattern, not the one that we see carved out, when we put our date and time into those store tracking programs. We see something will be able to win with the Stars. It gets brighter and I kind of crosses over in alignment. We don't see a star that's going north and then South and then he stabbed in west or Are you guys, north and south and east and west?

So I think he has some reason for us to hold out that, that perhaps is a more correct interpretation. But it, it was the light of God and not just a star in the heavens, but I reserve more study for that. So sometimes we agree with the doctor fruchtenbaum sometimes, we think the text says other things. So we'll have to look at it but just so you know what he thinks and then we come to the Transfiguration. So when he said that in the Old Testament, that should count kind of Glory came and went to move there permanently, he's talking about coming out of Egypt where it's there and then disappears and it comes back when they're crying out and hunger and then it disappears and comes back when they're Mount Sinai, and then it disappears comes back. When they do the temple or the Tabernacle in the disappears and it comes back and then it's in the Tabernacle in that moves forward permanently. So he says, we have a parallel between that and the new toy Estimate where we have that light that guides and and show, excuse me, the light, that shows the Shepherds and then, secondly, the light that guides the yet wise man. And then we have the returning of the Shekinah Glory in the person of the Lord, Jesus Christ himself and then when we return, we'll examine the Transfiguration. So, let's close in prayer. Thank you for today. The opportunity to study your word, The Details Matter. And it helps us to come to correct, biblical, understanding to correct Doctrine, as we differentiate between wrong teaching and right teaching, that what your scripture says that which men make assumptions about. So our desire is for you to guide us and lead us in the studying of your word in the understanding of it and that we might be equipped and encouraged and walking in the Supernatural life. But we walked in by Grace cuz we meet you between the wings of the cherubim Lord, that is where we have Fellowship. That is where we found so big and that is where you are Gore fight. So may our Focus be there, all these things we pray, I choose the same

Alright, we can do. Start stumbling our way back to her chairs.

Restore with him 142. 142.

3D mean, love.

I'm him number 146. Oh, How He Loves You and Me?

His love for mankind.

Dearly father, we thank you for this moment where we gather with a purpose and a goal. The goal of offering to you and Free Will of those gifts and sacrifice as long to glorify your name through eternity. Cuz we understand your faithfulness to us. So, then we are to respond in like manner. If we get the grace of God, lord, then we respond with free. Will Grace gifts in return. No obligation. But we should consider in our hearts and our minds according to scripture, that which you would convince us of giving, Lord and return it to you, for your glory, for your exaltation. We understand that everything that we have is from you that we are simply caregivers in this time in this life therefore our giving is a reflection of our faith or trust in our dependence upon you we give we sometimes even give sacrificially but our purpose is that you would be glorified. This Is A Private Matter between us and you Lord. And we ask that you would be glorified at this time. We thank you for your faithfulness and pricing.

Yeah, I'm the hymn number, 145, 145, so lasts and Did My Savior Bleed.

Thank you, Kathy.

Beautiful words from Isaac Watts.

He'll look all the short people are leaving.

Day reminds me of that. Great platitude, where did they go? I'm their leader.

What's open in prayer again, during the father as we enter into our second session. This morning, our desire is to invoke your glory. Lord, as we enter into a place of Fellowship in concentration, we confess any known sin that we might be filled with your spirit understanding that we need your spirit to guide us and lead us and Empower Us in the understanding of your word. Every one of us was in a different place and has a different need. When we ask that, you would be the meter of those needs. We understand that it is your word Lord, which creates that which is needed you change us. You transform Us For Your Glory and we desire that. And so we submit our souls to you, as we study your word that you might write on them Lord and transform us. According to Romans chapter 12, verses 1 and 2 and we praise you and pricing. You mean? so we are at the point where we're speaking of the Transfiguration of Christ, Many consider the Transfiguration as the greatest manifestation of the Shekinah Glory of the person of Jesus. We are four passages that record the event. Two of them interesting wiiflow from Peter, as he mentioned the event, in his own a pistol, and he's also considered a strong influence on Mark who wrote the Gospel the card according to Mark, and many think that his understanding and all of his historic perspective came through Peter. The books of the Bible were all given Authority, or recognized as being books for the New Testament because they had a proximity. These, authors of these books have proximity to the Lord, your shoe. Jesus himself or to the apostles who had proximity to the Lord, Jesus Christ, verse Mark. And Luke and acts. Get their Authority by association with the apostles. So mark Luke and acts get that Authority by association as do James and Jude as Epistles in the Canon of the New Testament. James and Jude were both brothers of Christ. They came to their faith after his death and Resurrection.

then when we put together, the four passages, the reference, the Transfiguration, it gives us a more full view of what occurred at the Transfiguration in the starred in the first passage the Matthew chapter 17,

Verses 1 through 8. Matthew 17 verses 1 through 8, starting in verse 1. Merrell after 6 days, Jesus Took Peter, James and John his brother, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves. So, Peter James John, his brother

James and John are brothers. Yeah jet. So, yeah, I could, I could say James, the brother of John or James and his brother, John, but they're trying to follow the order of the Greek. So it's a little bit little bit off, but Peter, James and John. So we have the three disciples are Apostles later on and Jesus together. And he led them up on a high mountain by themselves and he was transfigured before. Them his face Shone like the sun, it is in his clothes, became as white as the light, so that's pretty bright. I typically have a white shirt on when I come in here and if I were to put it up against the life, I would say no comparison. My shirt does not shine. It does not emit so there is no amitav value. There is a reflective value, a diminished value. But it is not shining like light but his clothes became White as the light with the puissance. So we might say a shining forth first three and behold, Moses, and Elijah appeared to been talking with them. So not only do we have the Transfiguration of Christ but we have an interesting appearance of Moses and Elijah. Talking with Christ, interesting situation verse for him and Peter answered and said. Lord, it is good for us to be here if you wish. Let us make your three Tabernacles one for you, one for Moses and one for you Elijah. Peter can be a bit of a nitwit, and so, he appears to be at the moment.

The doctrine. The Shekinah Glory Shekinah means to Tabernacle, right? And so who is it? That is tabernac playing God with who with man God Tabernacle in with man, so what? Peter is suggesting here is just pure foolishness because he has the god-man Jesus Christ and then a simple man. Moses and a simple man elyjah, why would we want Tabernacles between man? And man. That's the basis of false religion. Tabernacle men figures with man, we don't need man. All we need is that which was provided, which is the Lord Jesus Christ verse five and while he was still speaking, that is Peter, the foot-in-mouth Apostle the whole day, bright Cloud, overshadowed them and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud saying, this is my beloved Son in whom I am, well, pleased here. In other words, Peter, there's a time to talk and there's a time to be quiet and you're confused.

For 6. When the disciples heard it they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. I kind of a Mount Sinai like situation Thunder from above. A bright light of me, go on their faces and they were greatly afraid. They were shocked, we have been appearing of the expression of God the father while we're having a period of the expression. The Lord Jesus Christ and their familiarity with Christ, maybe they foolishly forgot to be afraid. The one, the father spoke, all things came into perspective and they were rightly afraid and fell on their faces. For 7. But Jesus came and touched them and he said arise and do not be afraid.

Verse 8. When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus, only Moses, and Elijah disappeared. The Shekinah of God, the Father disappeared in all that was there before them was Jesus in his Humanity alone.

Show me the Matthew Palisades. We see a couple of things. His fairies did shine as the sun. And his garments became White flight and a bright Cloud, overshadowed him in the voice of God, spoke out of the cloud, the messiahship of Jesus. This is the god-man Jesus. You are not proceeding him. You think he is a man, you foolish. M perceptive individual. This is the god, man. He is the Messiah, that's what was going on. It was a Messianic conversation between the Messiah and Moses, and Elijah, the. Of the cloud and the voice of God. Speaking out of the cloud was the very same thing that had occurred in Mount Sinai in this description. Clearly reflects the Shekinah manifestation of the Old Testament developed further in the New Testament, as they are fulfilled in the person of the Messiah. Well, the shortening of the face of Moses was that of a reflected Glory, which the people were afraid. The shiny of the face of Jesus was The Shining of the Shekinah Glory itself. Moses was like the moon, but Jesus here was like the son. He is the source of Glory. That is his deity, showing through. Next, we look at Mark chapter 9 Verses 2 through a Mark chapter 9 beginning and verse to know, after six days, Jesus Took Peter, James and John and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves, and he was transfigured before them. His clothes became a shining extremely white like snow such as no launderer. On Earth can whiten them.

Prayers for her and Elijah appear to them with Moses. And they were talking with Jesus. First five, then Peter answered and said to Jesus Rabbi it is good for us to be here and let us make three, Tabernacles one for you. One for Moses and one for Elijah. A little further perspective, here Peter is thinking of Jesus as his Jewish rabbi. We have the school of Jesus. We have the school of Moses and we have the school did Elijah. Let's set up tents for each of the schools because they're conversing with you and he mistakenly. We now see assumed that they were equals that Jesus was an equal with Moses and with Elijah when again, he miss perceives the situation. This is not 3. Rabbis This is the Messiah and Moses and Elijah not rabbis at all before 6 because he did not know what to say for. They were greatly afraid. So in other words he had running mouth syndrome, he didn't know what to do. So he opened his mouth and blah blah blah blah blah blah.

We've all encountered individuals like that. We may have been that way ourselves in situations. You don't know what to say and to your great regret. You find out you're saying something that your mouth is leading where you don't even want to go. First Southern in a cloud came and overshadowed them in a voice came out of the cloud saying, this is my beloved Son, speaking of the deity of Christ Hymn for Saint suddenly when they had looked around, I saw no one anymore but only Jesus with themselves through the whole falling on their face. And being afraid is not here in this passage in mark.

So the mark passage states that his garments became glistening. Exceedingly white, so has no Fuller on Earth. Can whiten them. A fuller is as we discussed before the person who takes the wool and cleanses it takes soap to it. It's a soap man, the soap person, the white washer as you will. So I was no folder on Earth, can whiten them and they Cloud overshadowed. Human interesting note that it is interesting that when we have is outshining there is a cloud but notice the distinction here, the cloud overshadow them back to verse 7. Did you notice that? The cloud overshadowed them. Remember when we had the Shekinah Glory on Mount Sinai, we have the cloud. Emma Shekinah Glory inside it so they cannot see the Shekinah Glory. The Moses says, I would that I could see your face and God said that is not possible. No one can see my face and live when we had the appearing of the Shekinah Glory and the Temple of Solomon as you recall, we had a great clothes filled the temple and then the Shekinah Glory, the presence of God was seen. We should kind of glory, is always behind a cloud. It is never seen directly by anyone at any time. So if you have a picture in your mind from one of the great Renaissance paintings out there, which there are many the show, the Transfiguration and we have Jesus with a circle over his head and his face is going to Bright Light in The Shining Force. Slightly brighter in the apostles, it's nothing like that because the cloud is covering him. I can see The Shining forth but they cannot see directly that light coming from his face.

So who next will look at the account and Luke chapter 9 verses 28 through 36 Luke chapter 9 verses 28 through 36. Starting in verse 28. No, I came to pass about eight days after these things that he took Peter John and James and went up on the mountain to pray for his 29. As he prayed the appearance of his face was altered and his robe became White and the glistening First 30 +. B whole Two men talked with him who were Moses and Elijah verse 31, who appeared in glory and spoke of his deceased, which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem. Interesting, the other accounts that mention that but we have it here in Luke and insights and understanding. They were speaking with Jesus about his crucifixion which was about to happen in Jerusalem. They were part of the grace preparation that God provided for the Lord. Jesus Christ. The God man, who was operating completely as Man Without borrowing in his dependence upon himself. He was not self-dependent saying I will just tap into my deity and just kind of milk off of that to make it through this situation as a human. But instead he laid aside his beautiful thick privilege, his ability as God and he says I will not. I will live man my life as a man. As a man and I will live completely through my Humanity, but I will live in dependence. Upon God, the Holy Spirit and the Living Word of God, but he had time to discuss with those who had inside provided by God, to be able to talk about his death and what was taking him. So interesting because Peter James and John, got to overhear that So you would think they would have understood better. What was about to come? But no they walked on in Oblivion only later apparently did these discussions? What they heard begin to make sense to them.

We are we would term for that. There's a cognitive dissonance where you are not reconciling the fact that, you know, with the situation that you are facing. And for some reason, there's a dissonance, there's a lack of connection that's going on in the spiritual realm. That's often because we have a, a refusal to go along with the plan of God, and when we don't recognize the plan of God in our lives, or were refusing to follow it. Then, what we do is we create a cognitive dissonance that is why we cannot understand the things of God that apply to the ear. The now and what is going on because we have already refused The Lord will work that out. He is our great Shepherd and he will work that out with us and maybe a paddling. Maybe he's going to take us to the Fuller and we need a full-on washing with the soap. Bubble lumination to help us. See you little bit cleaner. Get the dirt out so that we can see you in after him. What's going on? I don't know, typically, it's just the word of God as we submit to the word of God. We find ourselves submitting to the plan of God, when we disagree with the word of God, we find ourselves incapable of walking forward with the plan of God for our life. Interesting thing. Many people have a great Paws put on their spiritual life because they have not been able to receive God's word, the word of God. They're not able to take scripture and its normal literal understanding and accept that as being true. So, they put other things in place where people have the entire systems of theology that are blocking them from Walking with God. And that's a sad thing. The best thing we can do for everyone is just to encourage them to go to the word, go to the word, go to the word. Our job is to teach it to unveil it to unravel it to dig out. What's there to gift. People with what we know about God's word and what we understand that they might be encouraged that they might apprehend the truth. The truth of what Jesus Christ has done for them. Most importantly, that's where most people get stuck. And so, once we have understood where Jesus Christ has done for us, we are freed from our Fetters and our bonds and we are able to walk in the liver. In the power of the authority of what Jesus Christ has done, and what he has made available to us. That's exciting joyful.

Verse 32, but Peter, and those with him were heavy with sleep. And when they were fully awake, they saw his glory, and the two men who stood with him, so heavy with sleep. So I thought they were afraid first, they are afraid and they fall in their faces, maybe they phoned their faces and then fall asleep. Kind of a different account is given. Here they saw his glory in the two men who stood with them. So they're with the Lord on the Mount of transfiguration. In reality, he's praying, they fall asleep, we wake up there. He is Prince figured when they went to sleep, he was just praying on. How are you? I just read it again. There is the Lord, and he's friends, figured like, I'm asleep or missing the whole thing.

What's going on first 33, then it happened as they were parting from him. That Peter said to Jesus Master, it is good for us to be here and let us make three, Tabernacles one for you. One for Moses and one for Elijah, not knowing what he said, interesting, we get all of these years of what's going on with Peter. He didn't know what he was saying. He was out of ignorance, ignorance talk. Lot of labels, we can put on Peter and I think all those would probably steer us back in the face. The ignorant talking a lot of people Park in ignorance are a lot of people who think they are apprehended thing and yet they're actually miss Supply in the thing that they think applies to the thing that it doesn't apply to. they're going to miss the plane that which they already know, but it doesn't really apply to what they think they know that it applies to

They don't know what they're saying. The words first 35 while he was saying this a cloud came and overshadows Ben and they were feel fearful as they entered the cloud. So This Cloud drop down on them so that they were in it. 35 and a voice came out of the cloud. Saying this is my beloved Son. That is here. Is he the Messiah? Who is my son? He is deity.

Don't hear yourselves, don't listen to your own thinking listen to what he has to say. Oh wow, until like a life lesson, isn't it?

This is my beloved Son, hear him just a couple of words from God. The Father, the probably impacted Peter for eternity and yet even though he heard this, he failed, and he ended up speaking incorrectly and teaching people to go back to the lawn had to be rebuked by the Apostle. Paul, as a result, verse 36,

When the voice had ceased.

Died on me. Let me talk back over.

The little boy said, sees Jesus was found alone, but they kept quiet and told no one of those days. Any of the things they had seen

Show me, the loop passage the fashion of his countenance, was altered. The countenance the what we see how we interpret and understand and know a person was altered in his raiment, became White and dazzling and they saw his glory while the cloud overshadowed him. So another distinction, the cloud comes down, overshadows him and they saw his glory from behind. So you see how we get bits and pieces of the story when we pull it all together? We have a better understanding that Jesus Christ. Is there a cloud comes down, and his Shekinah. Glory shines forth through his humanity. And so the apostles don't get a direct look at it, but they get an indirect obvious skated, look through the cloud. If you will. So just like in the Old Testament, so too, and the New Testament, even though it is just a shining through in the humanity of Christ, we still do I have a full openness or Revelation, there is a cloudy mess around the Humanity's ability to see the Lord Jesus Christ, and to see God and the God, man, again, doesn't that speak quite a bit to us, you see? We are finite. And he is in Fannett, he is eternal, he is beyond creation, cannot be constrained by anything of creation. So vast, and far beyond creation that we we created beings. Have such a finite small, my new capacity to get and understand anything of God, whenever he does appear in this way, the Shekinah Glory. Then we have this Cloud, this fuzziness and inability to see which is the reality of what God is expressing. He is beyond our capacity. If you were to appear fully in our capacity, then what would happen? I've heard over the years, it's happened a number of times but individuals were walking along. I can't remember the last one, I read that more than a few years back of a gentleman, walking down the streets of New York full crowd and place suddenly burst into flame and Ashes he was gone. Who is happens occasionally through history. We have these well-documented instances of people just Spontaneously combusting bones, everything. Ashes not a part of it. I mean, super hot and some people think that it but it's, you know, the pits of hell are reaching up and trying to grab people. I've got a different Theory, I don't have any basis for it, but here's my theory. These are people who had And insights into the things of God. And they saw her just a little bit too much and they burst into flames and they were instantly. I don't think we have the capacity to understand fully. I know that we don't as much as we can learn through knowledge, through the knowledge that God can place in each of our limited little brain pans. We have that, which we can understand and know about God, but the full capacity of God would instantly cause us to turn into ashes spontaneous combustion. So,

So the Luke passion in the Luke passage. They saw his glory. Why the cloud overshadowed him

So next we have 2nd Peter chapter 14. We have Peter is account in his own, a pistol. 2nd Peter 1 verses 16 through 18.

Starting in verse 16, for we did not follow coming, we devised fables. When we made known to you the power and come in of our Lord. Jesus Christ, what were eyewitnesses of his majesty?

Interesting.

The time word majesty is meghalaya protest. Mega larot means grunger Majesty magnificent. They were eyewitnesses of his

But his majesty interesting me because to this day, people accuse, the Christians of creating a myth, a fable, it is a putting together, lies and distortions, and smoke, and mirrors, try to say that. There was this, man. He was called Jesus, but he was a human who they create these, fables and myths and ways of presenting things the Greeks had their Fables, they had their mythology to them, a myth was not a foreign thing. We think of a myth today as that which is not true. It's almost synonymous for us back in the Greek era am it was inside into the history of reality. But he says we don't have cleverly devised. Like the Romans fables are like the Greeks myths. We don't have these understandings of our history that come from those places, but we have made known to you is the power and coming of our Lord. Jesus Christ and we were eye witnesses to this Majesty verse 11 for he receive from God. The Father honor and Glory here is our word doxa. Glory is what team that Shekinah presence which the Lord Jesus Christ at and when such a voice came to him from the excellent Glory, this is my beloved Son in whom I am. Well pleased, he speaks of a nother vocalization that came from God, but this time it was speaking of the work of Jesus Christ. Directly in in totality. This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased Verse 18 and we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with him on the Holy Mountain.

What could he possibly be speaking of? Only this one event, the Transfiguration. Under the whole email on. This is my beloved Son. In whom I am. Well pleased, listen to him. But he doesn't quote that part there. He just said, this is my beloved Son. In whom I am. Well, pleased.

No to the Mount of transfiguration.

No. But we have mountains that are suspected based on the travel on the route of travel. They were going through at that time. I didn't bring any of that with me to my note so I can't. Tell you what we think it is though.

Nope, it is just the place of the Transfiguration of Christ.

Who won the 2nd Peter passage Peter proclaimed. What he saw on the Mount of transfiguration and he claimed to be an eyewitness of the Majesty or of his majesty. The Majesty of Jesus Christ, the Messiah ship of Jesus was a thinner cated by this Majestic Glory. Another indication that Jesus was the Messiah in that the Messiah is the god, man. And he showed himself as the god-man through the Transfiguration, okay?

So the purpose of it is again to put the stamp of the messiahship on the God man. You should Jesus. Let everyone see know and these fossils were able to commit that information to everyone else know. Jesus was the visible manifestation of God's presence in a new form. At the Mount of transfiguration, the glory that was veiled by his human body showing through. And three of the apostles were able to behold the Shekinah Glory in its brightness, in a form greater than what had appeared in the Old Testament.

For besides the repetition of the Old Testament manifestation, there was also the unique Shekinah, manifestation of Jesus himself as the God man. We see you also about the manifestation of God's presence is taught in the later, New Testament, as well. So, in the Epistles, the follow after the gospel accounts of the writings about Jesus afterwards, also speak to what the gospels are presented of the history of Christ while he was here on Earth, 2nd Corinthians 4.

Verses 5 and 6 shows us that will start in verse 5. For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus, the Lord in ourselves, your bond servants for Jesus sake.

So he says, what we have to preach is Christ. Jesus the Messiah Yeshua, Jesus, we are preaching him as the Lord as Yahweh as God with us. And we ourselves, we were only your bond servants. And our purpose is to point back to Jesus Christ, by the way. So we spend some time last week talking about the Revival and I gave you some information. One of the points that we reviewed is that God will Holy Spirit. If there is a true Revival we're not opposed to Revival. In our Doctrine we're not against that but we are of the understanding that everything that flows from God. The holy spirit will be done perfectly and in order there will not be jumping around. There will not be dances before the Lord. There will not be all of this device. Dances before the Lord that are acceptable. I have friends who do this Jewish dancing thing, and it will come to weddings and celebrations but they don't jump up in the middle of it and just start dancing around. You know, everyone start speaking in tongues dancing all over the place but they do as they say hello and now we're going to have a presentation by the Jewish dancers, and they get up and do a little dance and I do love you. Hear the horror. I go in the background....... I'm in there dressed up with their Jewish Garb and it's wonderful. And it is a potential form of worship before the Lord. We see it. Done all throughout the Old Testament. Jewish Believers like to do it. Now, doesn't belong in a worship service. I'm not going to go there with it. It doesn't say, encourage one another with songs and hymns, and spiritual dancing. It says, encourage one another, with Psalms, and hymns, and spiritual, hymn singing, and speaking unto the Lord. So we're to have verbal truth in our worship. But can there be that physical expression, of course weeds. We see it at weddings. We see it in other places like that. So anyways,

Tell me ya, ya can be as well. They can dance. Send syrup.

So the guy, guess the point I was coming to, is that in the Revival's one side? We know that there is a work of God, the Holy Spirit. They're always be appointing to the person in the work of the Lord Jesus Christ, Christ, people will be clearly expressing communicating the gospel. There will be a sharing in the ministering, to those people who are not saved on The Gospel, who those people who are say they will be pointed to the person, the work of the Lord Jesus Christ, as their means of operation in as a Christian here in life and when it comes to believers, they will not be pointing to themselves. They won't be say is what a great, what those people are doing, isn't it great? This revival. We will say we are Bond servants, for Jesus sake. We're here to serve and point to Jesus. So both on the Holy Spirit side, there is a pointing to the person and work of Jesus. And if there ever is a true Revival, there will also be in the bond servants. That is those people who are Christians will be pointing to Jesus Christ as well. I thought I would bring that out since that applies. What we talked about last week for 6, or it is the god commanded light to shine out of Darkness. Who has Shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Wow, that's pretty

Blueberry God, who commanded light ex nihilo. He commanded in the beginning and he separated night in daylight and darkness. He made a division and it says that he has shown in our hearts to give the light, the knowledge of the glory of God. In the face of Jesus Christ himself spoke in his explanation of what it means to become regenerate to be born from above. He says that those people who choose to do God's will or turning to the light, the light is expressed. The light is shown on their hearts and then they have a Freewheel opportunity to respond to that. Krewe of Salvation and crew of your walk with God. Every point of data of doctrine of scripture, you come across, you now, have an opportunity to free will respond to it. And when that, why is shown in the hearts, it gives the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. So we have an expression again, the face of Jesus Christ, and the glory of God were peering pretty in that picture of Shekinah. Glory is being talked about here in 2nd Corinthians 4. Verse 5 & 6, he is rebuking the idiot of the Corinthian Church. Two Letters of Great review. Can the Mitsubishi pulls out this picture for them so that they can understand your direction? You should be taking it to respond to God. You are responding to God when his glory is revealed in you. His light is expressed in your heart as his word is it. Trust in your your thinking. So the word Hebrews here tells that she's me. Next Hebrews 1. Verses 1 through 3.

Writer to Hebrews here, tells us that through Jesus. Light shines out of darkness, in the light is that of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ? Clearly than the glory of God was manifested in the person of Jesus in, Jesus was indeed a new manifestation of God's presence, so that was okay. So, I am going to my notes mix up. That was what we just talked about. Now, Hebrews group, Yeah. Yeah. 2nd Corinthians 4 verses 5 and 6 Hebrews and he was the author of Hebrews takes us just a little bit further than Paul did in his letter to the Corinthians.

Starting in verse one, God who had various times in a various ways spoke in time, pass for the father's by the prophets verse to husband. He's lost a spoken to us by his son, whom he has appointed, heir of all things. So he spoke to us and profits. But now he speaks to us through his son. but if speaking of a deity of Christ, whom he has appointed, heir of all things through whom also, he made the worlds So, he's speaking of the second person of the Trinity, who is the creator of the worlds. And who is the, inheritor, of all first three? Who being the brightness of his glory from Express image of his person and upholding All Things by the word of his power. When he had by himself purse, to our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. He is the Shekinah Glory of God.

He is the god man. Jesus Christ. Now he's now he is orienting towards the god sign and talking about he has the brightness of his glory in the express image of this person. But as we go throughout the Book of Hebrews, we will see that it is the god-man Jesus Christ and what he has accomplished specified right here, that is being talked about. That is higher than anything else and makes him the inheritor of all things. Specifically when he had by himself purged, our sins. He's satisfied. God, he was the propitiation of our sins. All sins were prayers and he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. It was except and approve it. He sits at God's right hand not as deity. He's sitting there as the God man who paid the price for our sins, which is the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Which is in between the wings of the cherubim where that sacrifice is poured out. The glory of God is Manifest at that place. That is the entire purpose of a picture of the Shekinah Glory throughout the Old Testament. And the New Testament is that this is the place of the meeting of, man of God where the atoning work is done. In Jesus Christ as the ultimate meeting of man and of God gives completely God. He is completely man as man, he pays the price for all sins. And in his deity he accepts that payment as does God, the father has does God the Holy Spirit. God, the father has the role of the judicator. The role of keying, the role of authority. And so that work is accepted in Christ sits at his right hand. This is accepted. And finally, we have Revelation chapter, 1 verses

12 through 16.

Revelation 1 verses 12 through 16 hear John the Revelator tells us of the glorified son of man from his vision. Revelation 1 verse 12 bad. I turned to see the voice that spoke with me and having turned I saw seven golden lamp stands. First 13 and in the midst of the seven lampstands one, like the son of man clothes with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. Verse 14, his head and his hair were white like wool as white as snow and his eyes like a flame of fire verse 15. His feet were like fine brass as if we find in a furnace in his voice as the sound of many Waters verse 16. He had in his right hand, Seven Stars out of his mouth, went a sharp two-edged sword and his countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. Note that the end of verse 16 says, I miss countenance was as the sun shines in his strength or in its strength. The outward appearance of Jesus exuded such brightness, but the glory of The Shining is comprable to that of the Sun. The physical body of Jesus, no longer bails, The Shining brightness of the glory. So what we're going to see at the end of the tribulation after in the last 3 days, all of Israel. Comes to Salvation and calls upon the name of the Lord, their Messiah, Jesus Christ, that he will return with all of the Saints. With this disposition, this glorified perspective, this countenanced and his Shekinah Glory will shine forth as he Slaughters the millions of those who are opposed To Israel to the Son of God to Jesus as the Messiah and to God, the Father in heaven.

And we will see it Shine Shekinah. Glory Unleashed in a sinful world where the Shekinah Glory Burns and cuts and destroys.

In the end in the Eternal Kingdom he will be the light. We will not have a son because he will be our light. In the New Jerusalem. We will have a free creation that does not shrivel in shriek and run. From the glory of God but we will be enveloped by it and we will embrace it. Fully we will be in our Resurrection Symphony bodies in a new creation and what Joy we will have for eternity with him. There in forever. More with the closing prayer, family. Father, we just, thank you for your plans. So amazing. So different from anything we could ever understand or come up with, but we do ask Lord that you would be glorified in our lives and that these things would have impact. Who we might rightly understand and rightly divide is a major goal, it is a preeminent goal as we study your word that we might be transformed by Your Word we know will happen as we rightly divide Lord. We do understand as well, but we have needs. We have misunderstandings misperceptions and we have thoughts and thinking that is human Viewpoint that we hang on to that. We don't understand, Ask For Your Glory. That is the glory of knowing who you are. The person, the Lord Jesus Christ that you would burn through that for us that we might find ourselves more and able to walk with you or we understand that is not a mystical thing. We understand that we confess our known sending you cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We understand that by Grace Lord, we apprehend these things, the doctrine, the perspective problem-solving devices, the Deep wisdom that lies behind the study and understanding of these things for the Angelic conflict. We're in the midst of so much, we do know and we do understand Lord, we understand as your word, makes it clear. So pray that you would grow us, you would increase this will give us opportunity to minister one to another very importantly, and also to those who are in need around us Lord, believers who need encouragement Lord or or words of wisdom or words of truth. And also those believers who need to hear the gospel clearly presented. Give us that opportunity make us Provide us with those Divine appointments in the media, as if you would ring our doorbell. So we know what we're walking into that situation or when were there we go. This is what I've been waiting for. Okay, Lord give me wisdom. Give me your words that we thank you for your fellowship Lord and the abundance of Fellowship that we have and it is transformative. The word again as We Know Your Word Fellowship with you, we agree that we want to know you more, we praise you. I see the same.
