Vv. 17 – Blessed are you if you do them!
Do Them – Purposed to Humbly Serve – Purposed to DO THIS!
Will I Purpose – Or think it will just happen?

By This All People Will Know You Are My Disciples!
HUMBLE SACRIFICAL LOVE - DEFFERENTIAL LOVE
TURN TO 1 CORINTHIANS 11:17
The Lords Supper
1 Corinthians 11:17-34
The practice was not for the better but for the worse. (17)
The consequence was judgment. (28-30)
They were not observing the Lord’s Supper. (18-22)
Divisions and segregation not love and unity. (18, 21)
Improper theology and understanding. (19, 22)
Paul taught and delivered to them the truth. (23-25)
This is nothing short of a direct decree of Jesus. (23)
This is personal within the relationship with our Lord. (23-24)
The same night He was betrayed
Take and eat this is my body..broken for you – ALL OF YOU!!.
Remember Me!
This cup is the New Testament..in My Blood.
Remember Me!
Paul explained that in so doing you demonstrate the Lord’s Death until He comes again. (26)
CELEBRATING JESUS’ DEATH! - Reminder we are Redeemed – Loved – Purposed – Valued!! YES
BUT ALSO – That we follow in dying to self to serve to Love!
Matthew 16:24–28.
24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. 26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? 27 For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done. 28 Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”
Consequence of abusing the flock under the pretense of the Lord’s supper? (27)
Guilty of the blood and the body of the Lord Who/Which paid for all of us...including those who you denigrate in the body!!! (27)
Examine yourselves that you are not abusing those who Jesus paid to redeem. (28-29)

Divisions over spiritual leadership Carnal and Evidence of Immaturity

-Chapter 5 – Abuse of the Body by not dealing with Sin – Everyone impacted –
-Chapter 6 – Abuse of the Body by Suing one another – Frivolous profiteering
-Chapter 6 – Abuse Literally of the individual Body by Adultery and Fornication
- Chapter – 7 – Abuses within Marriages
- Chapter 9 – Paul Surrendered His rights to become a servant to all!
Abuse through demanding Rights?!
- Chapter 10 12 Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall. 13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

For those who do not grasp this significance will be judged. (28-32)
The solution is to consider and love each other in commemoration of our common Savior. (33-34)
