Romans 10:13-21
 
This passage is often used as the basis for the church’s missionary program, and rightly so, but its first application is to the nation of Israel.
*Paul asks four questions:*
 
1.
*Romans 10:14 *  /How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed?/
2.      *Romans 10:14 * /how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?/
·         All have heard, there is no excuse, everyone has received a general revelation of God.
*Romans 10:17-19NKJV \\ 17*So then faith /comes/ by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
\\ *18*But I say, have they not heard?
Yes indeed: /“Their sound has gone out to all the earth, And their words to the ends of the world.”/

A Psalm of David.
The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.
\\ *2*Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.

·         This can be any Christian.

·         When one accepts the general revelation, and desire a personal knowledge, we must be ready.
·         We must be ready and willing to participate in and~/or support missions
*The Great Commission:*
*Matthew 28:19-20NKJV \\ 19*Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, \\ *20*teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, /even/ to the end of the age.”

*v.15:*    *The feet are beautiful: (Isaiah 52:7; Nahum 1:15)*
·         The feet carry us into the world.
·         They transport us from place to place, so that we can proclaim the Gospel.
*v.16:*
Despite our best efforts, not all will believe.
*Vs.19-21:*
·         *Verse 19* was a prophecy by Moses in *Deuteronomy 32:21*.
·         Moses told them that they would be jealous of the gentiles, and that’s exactly what happened.
·         *Verse 20* was a prophecy from *Isaiah 65:1*.
·         Isaiah prophesied the God would save the gentiles, and that’s exactly what happened.
·         *God’s word has proven true, time and again!*
·         *v.21*:
God blesses and waits for us, even when we don’t deserve it.
