The importance of a name
William Joseph
William "resolute protector" or "strong-willed warrior" and comes from Wilhelm, of Old German origin.
Joseph The name Joseph is a biblical name. Its earliest origins can be traced back to the Old Testament of the Bible, where it means “he will add” in Hebrew.
So by name I am a resolute protector strong will warrior who will increase.
Since we were babies we have been hearing our name..the word your brain is most in tune with in the world is ..your name..
How great do you feel when someone remembers your name…
When you become a parent you get a new name
Mom dad grandparents.. nanny or papa.. g-ma

Isaiah wrote these words 800 years before Christ ever came.. He wrote in a time when the assyrians were marching toward God’s people and taking them captive by the tens of thousands. Isaiah wanted to give the people hope

The Hebrew word pala [‘Wonderful’] indicates ‘something uncommon or out of the ordinary.’ It reflects ‘a phenomenon lying outside the realm of human explanation; that which is separated from the normal course of events; something that cannot be explained.’
The word wonderful here means incomprehensible
A counselor who is full of so much wonder it cannot be explained!

John Piper says that darkness comes and in the middle of it the future looks bleak or blank. The temptation to quit is huge, but don’t. Believers are in good company in Christ. It may seem that there is no way forward, but with Jesus, nothing is impossible. He has more ropes and ladders and tunnels out of pits than you can conceive.

When Jesus said go and do likewise he said this after the parable of the good Samaritan.. basically loving those who hate you..going the extra mile for them
If you are a follower of the Way.. Jesus Christ..
I am not sure we are called to have a comfortable life..
I mean show me a disciple who had a comfortable life.. a follower of Christ whose life who by the wrolds standards was comfortable ..
