Paul stays for a 1 and half and then the jews had enough and bring up legal charges.. odly enough the governor of the town Galilo sticks up for Paul and the jews response it sot take the ruler of the synagogue and beat him up in front of the court..
Corinth 1-5 tv
Corinth was a corrupt place and was one of the Roman colonies..there wa a lot of traffic through Corinth because of its sea trade. It was the cetnraolize place for travel..
Corinth was a very wealthy town.. and lets just say if you wanted to have a good time you went to Corinth.. think Miami.. Even their religious practices involved drinking and sex.
The only way to escape the prison of this World is Jesus.. We give our life to Jesus! But this means the rest of our life we get to live it for Jesus.. if we don’t we fall bback into the prisons of the world ..laziness, complacency, sin..

How do we get out of the Prison of the world
Acts 17:1-3 (ESV)
After this Paul left Athens and went to Corinth. 2 And he found a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to leave Rome. And he went to see them, 3 and because he was of the same trade he stayed with them and worked, for they were tentmakers by trade.
Galatians 6:4 (CEV)

He was a shepherd, fought bears, wolves and lions away, he slayed a giant, he was a musician, he was a soldier, he was a king…

There is nothing of which to be ashamed in honest toil. Labor with the hands in a productive employment is just as honorable as work with the brain.
2 Samuel 7:8-10 (ESV)
8 Now, therefore, thus you shall say to my servant David, ‘Thus says the Lordof hosts, I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, that you should be prince[a] over my people Israel. 9 And I have been with you wherever you went and have cut off all your enemies from before you. And I will make for you a great name, like the name of the great ones of the earth. 10 And I will appoint a place for my people Israel and will plant them, so that they may dwell in their own place and be disturbed no more. And violent men shall afflict them no more,
We have to work.. but as we work we should speak of Jesus We have the same promis as David .. there is a place called heaven where we get to rest where we will not be afflicted anymore.. ……

I refuse to be a judge of these things.” 16 And he drove them from the tribunal. 17 And they all seized Sosthenes, the ruler of the synagogue, and beat him in front of the tribunal.
