Is Healing available today?
I want to thank you for joining us today,
for those online and those in person, let’s prepare for an amazing move of God today
Pray
Today we celebrate Good friday
For many in the Christian faith this is a day to be somber, to be sad. many where black to mourn

So why do we call it Good?

Yes we are celebrating the creator of all things killed in the most unhuman detestable way one could imagine.
Its not Good that Jesus had to die for us in the most painful and evil way to die
But it sure is good for us that He did
let me explain.
Salvation
Salvation
Jesus died in our place.
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
sin means to miss the mark
it means doing things outside of God’s plans for our life
or not doing the things He wants us to do.
Ever person except Jesus was born this way.
born into sin
Needing someone to save us.
The apostle Paul expands on this.
10 as it is written,
“There is none righteous, not even one;
11 There is none who understands,
There is none who seeks for God;
12 All have turned aside, together they have become useless;
There is none who does good,
There is not even one.”
13 “Their throat is an open grave,
With their tongues they keep deceiving,”
“The poison of asps is under their lips”;
14 “Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness”;
15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood,
16 Destruction and misery are in their paths,
17 And the path of peace they have not known.”
18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
19 Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God;
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Because we sin the consequence is death
There was no death on the earth before Adam and Eve sinned in the garden
but once they sinned, death entered into the world
and now we all have to pay the price
not only physical death
but spiritual death as well that lasts all of eternity
But Jesus desired deepely to provide us a way to overcome the curse of sin
Jesus came to give us eternal life
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
God loves us, He does not want to control us, but rather He desires to protect us from the consequences of our sin
Since the cost of our sin is death
Jesus chose to die in our place. to save us from physical and eternal death.
The gift of Jesus’s deatth was made for everyone, but only those who accept it will receive it
There are things we need to do to receive this gift of Him substituting himself into our place
9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
This means your acceptance of His gift does cost you
the gift is not free as some have suggested
It cost Jesus His Life!
To accept His payment means allowing Him to be Lord of your life.
Now this is the best thing that can ever happen to you
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
God’s plans for you are Good, acceptabe and perfect
The only way God can carry out these plans is if your listen to Him
If you continue to do your own thing, How could you possible expect God’s best to manifest in your life.
For God’s best to manifest in your life , you have to obey Him.
He’s knows what’s best for you, and wants to see it fulfilled in your life
13 for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Doesn’t matter what you’ve done, or what your apart of God is bigger than your sin.
Anyone who asks him for help will get it!
Once you ask, you will recieve
And every mistake, ever poor decision, every addiction, every sin will be forgiven
12 As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
1 Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
If we accept Jesus forgiveness, Because of Jesus’ death on our behalf, we will never be condemned for our sins
We can then experience the one thing every human ever created desires from the depth of their being
God’s Love
38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
There is nothing else like on earth. A spouses Love, and parents love, the highest high, the greatest rush, the deepest passion
Everything else fails to match the eternal everylasting Love God so desprately desires to pour upon us.
1 See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
Those who know God, can understand and relate to what I’m saying.
Those who don’t know God, have no clue what they are missing out on.
But God has made it available for all who want to know His Love
If this is you today, if you desire to know the greatest Love you could possibly ever receive
I invite you to join me in the simple prayer.
The words themselves will not save you.
Only faith in Jesus Christ can provide salvation!
“God, I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. With your help, I place my trust in You for salvation. Thank You for Your wonderful grace and forgiveness - the gift of eternal life! Amen!”
If you meant this prayer I would encourage you to tell someone. DOn’t keep it a secret
Its called the Gospel. Meaning the Good News and Good news is natually meant to be shared
Your not in this alone, but a part of a community of believer with the intent of encouraging and building you up into the person God intended you to be!

I want you to know Jesus did not only die to save us from a eternity in Hell
10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
satan came to destroy God’s creation,
the devil does this through tempting people to sin, which leads to their destruction
Jesus came to provide you with an abundant Life.
What does that abundant life include?
20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
Now this abundant Life doesn’t happen by accident
it not imediate
rather its a process of fine tuning
Its something God will manifest through a life time of living.
The process is called renewing your mind
and renewing mind is adjusting your thoughts to line up with God’s thoughts
it literally means you start to think the way God thinks
8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
One of the ways we can do this is by coming into agreement with God regarding healing.
God wants to heal His people!
I would punch that up a notch and say
It’s always God’s will to heal!
How many believe that?
There’s lots of scriptural support for that
26 And He said, “If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the Lord, am your healer.”
25 “But you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst.
26 “There shall be no one miscarrying or barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget none of His benefits;
3 Who pardons all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases;
Its even one of God’s names

The prophet Isaiah said this about Jesus 700 years before Jesus walked the earth
3 He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
4 Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.
This is a powerful prophesy, that Jesus confirmed was about Him
14 When Jesus came into Peter’s home, He saw his mother-in-law lying sick in bed with a fever.
15 He touched her hand, and the fever left her; and she got up and waited on Him.
16 When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill.
17 This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: “He Himself took our infirmities and carried away our diseases.”
So if Jesus is the fulliment of Isaiah’s prophesy we can conclude that Jesus provided the means for us to be healed through his death and subsequent ressurection
5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our iniquities;
The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him,
And by His scourging we are healed.
The Apostle John writes
1 Pilate then took Jesus and scourged Him.
Matthew confirms
26 Then he released Barabbas for them; but after having Jesus scourged, he handed Him over to be crucified.
Peter stated when referring to Jesus
24 and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.
I believe it to very clear that Jesus provided the way for us to be healed by taking the scourging or stripes before He was crucified.
I also believe Jesus layed down the expectation for us to pray for healing
In listing of the spiritual gifts The Holy Spirit gives to believers
9 to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,
14 Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord;
15 and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.
The Bible is very clear healing is available today
The problem arises when we pray for someone and they don’t get healed.
let’s admit we’ve all been there.
but what is the reason why?
some may beleive it isn’t God’s will for someone to be healed.
Let me suggest an alternative.
One that allows our own personal experience and the scipture to coincide.
It’s always God’s will to heal, but God’s will is not always carried out on the earth!
You can look around and easily see God’s will is not always done.
In fact when Jesus taught His disciples to pray he started out having them pray
10 ‘Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Why would Jesus tell His diciples to pray asking God to carry out His will on earth. If God will was always being done
God’s wants His will to be done on the earth just like its carried out in heaven.
That’s why He told us to pray it!
I believe God wants to heal!
I’ve seen God heal hundreds of people
But I’ve also prayed for hundreds more who haven’t been healed.
Does that mean we should stop praying for healing
thats what satan would like!
Obviously no
Instead I feel we should take the time to invesitagte what is preventing the healing.
We know that infirmnity, sickness and desease are a result of sin.
they was never a part of God’s original creation
there’s no infirmnity, sickness or disease in heaven Where God’s will is carried out perfectly
these things only exist on earth in absence of God’s will being fulfilled.
Now in transparency this is not something i’ve always believed.
I had to repent of my unbelief
I remember times praying “God if its your will, healing this person”
not many people were healed.
those who were healed I believe were healed inspite of me.
Today I pray a prayer of agreement with the will of the father.
“Father I come into agreement that your will, will be done and this __________will be healed”
Why do I do this?
19 “Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.
20 “For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”
gathered in my name. that means coming into agreement with what Jesus wants to do.
When we come into aggreement with Him He shows up!
Praying to God and trying to convince Him to heal is futile.
He already wants to heal more than you
He’s looking for those who are willing to come into agreement with Him that His will, will be done.
I said this before.
In my expereience I’ve seen more pre-believers healed than beleivers
I know God doesn’t play favorites
so I’ve sought Him in trying to figure out why.
For a pre-believer They may not yet believe in God, but for them if there is a God they don’t limit Him
For beleiver we can start believing thing contrary to will of God that can get in the way of healing.

58 And He did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief.
The people in Jesus’s home town new him, and had a hard time in believing He was the Messaiah

this can occur for many reason, but fortunatly for us Jesus gave us a fix for that.
23 And Jesus said to him, “ ‘If You can?’ All things are possible to him who believes.”
24 Immediately the boy’s father cried out and said, “I do believe; help my unbelief.”
25 When Jesus saw that a crowd was rapidly gathering, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You deaf and mute spirit, I command you, come out of him and do not enter him again.”

as in the text we just read, Often the physical illness can be a result of demonic attack
Sometimes its not just healing that needs to take place, but the removal of demonic influence

you heard me right, let the people around you prayer
you just prepare to receive and monitor what God is doing in you body.

There’s the story of the Man at the gate beautiful
Peter and John
7 And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened.
8 With a leap he stood upright and began to walk; and he entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God;
What you might not connect is how many times Jesus passed by this man and did not heal him
2 And a man who had been lame from his mother’s womb was being carried along, whom they used to set down every day at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, in order to beg alms of those who were entering the temple.
Everyday Jesus went to the temple He passed by this man
But it was His disciples who healed him after Jesus ascended back to heaven.
I beleive this was a sign to the people the Jesus’s healing power passed on to His disciples
And somtimes today God is setting the stage for a healing used to the maximum degree for His glory
sometimes we have to wait for that time as the man who had been lame from birth.
So you may be thinking.
Why are you giving us so many reason why God doesn’t heal, should we be building up our faith so God’s healing can be released?
Let me explain. I beleive in God’s healing, and I beleive God is going to heal many today.
I also know many have been prayed for many times and still aren’t healed.
those are the ones I want to get ready to receive their healing.

So if your here today and you need a touch from Jehovah Rapha
If you sought before and not received
take a moment and ask Holy Spirit what is holding back Jesus’s healing in your life
He may prompt you to forgive someone
He may tell you to ask him for and increase in faith
He may call you to adjust your reason for healing

I’m going to ask my friends with healing annointing on their lives to come forward to pray for you
