I.        The righteous alone are worthy of entering the Supreme Lord’s presence. (Ps. 24:1-4)

A.     The Lord is the supreme owner and creator. (Ps. 24:1-2)

1.      The Lord is the supreme owner of the earth and its inhabitants (Ps. 24:1)

a. The earth and its fullness belong to the Lord.

b. The world and its inhabitants belong to the Lord.

2. The Lord created the earth. (Ps. 24:2)

            a. The Lord founded the earth upon the seas.

            b. The Lord established it upon the waters.

B.     Only the righteous man is worthy of entering into God's presence. (Ps. 24:3-4)

1.      Who is worthy of entering into the presence of God? (Ps. 24:3)

a. Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?

b. Who may stand in His holy place?

2.  Righteous living is worthy of God's presence. (Ps. 24:4)

            a. Righteous living requires clean hands and a pure heart.

            b. Righteous living requires not worshipping idols.

            c. Righteous living requires not swearing deceitfully.

II.     The righteous are blessed with fellowship because they seek God. (Ps. 24:5-10)

A.     The righteous are blessed because they seek God. (Ps. 24:5-6)

1.      A righteous man will receive blessings from God. (Ps. 24:5)

a.       A righteous will receive blessings from the Lord.

b.      A righteous person receives righteousness from the God of his salvation.

2.      A righteous generation truly seeks God. (Ps. 24:6)

a.       The righteous generation seeks the Lord.

b.      The righteous generation seeks the face of God.

B.     Seeking the Lord results in fellowship with God. (Ps. 24:7-10)

1.      Seek the King of Glory and He shall come in. (Ps. 24:7,9)

2.      The strong and mighty Lord is the King of Glory (Ps. 24:8)

3.      The Lord of hosts is the King of Glory (Ps. 24:10)
