The Gethsemane Moment

1) Do you even know when you are having a Gethsemane moment.
For Jesus it happened when the time was getting closer for things to happen.
It was getting closer for Jesus to have to pay the price for our sin. So He was feeling troubled and He wanted this to go away so He would not have to deal with it. (side note if not you then who. and why not you. God knows why He is asking you to do something, so don’t worry about if He could asked someone else to do it. He woke you up and made a way for you.) (it is a privilege and an honor for God to ask us to do anything. it is all how you see it. That is why Christ said not My Will but Yours (John 4:34 , John 8:29 , Philippians 2:13 )
2) You are by yourself even though people maybe trying to be there for you.
It is a moment that Only God can help you with.
It is a moment that you have to trust God and the way to do that is to remember your relationship with Him.
Understand that it is about Gods will and not yours even though you will have to go through the moment. (in our moment we have to make sure we don’t fall into the temptation of giving up. We have to love God so much that it over powers how we feel about what He has said we have to do, where we have to go, who or what we have to be around, past the shame or embarrassment we think it may bring, who we may have to stop being around or dealing with. There is a coast and you have to count it. it will help keep you focused. Christ got up early in the morning to be with the Father so He could get direction on what He knew He had to do. It prepared Him for what He had to do. It allowed Him to care out His work.
Jesus knew what He was suppose to do. and He did it well.
You have to understand that some people who love you and want to be there for you just can’t take or handle the pain that you are in and like the disciples they just don’t have it in them to be with you like you want them to. This is when you have to know that God will be with you.
Make up your mind because it can get tough.
