Transcript
So God tells Moses Tell the Israelites to turn back and encamp near Pi Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea. They are to encamp by the sea, directly opposite Baal Zephon.(Ex 14:2.)
- Here they are led south, in an opposite direction to the Land of Promise. How many of us have felt like the direction you were going was not in the direction towards what you’ve been promised?
- Lord it felt like I was on the righ track to get to where I need to be but I feel now that I’ve been led away from that to a unfamilar place and I have no idea why I am here.
And for some of you you have felt like you have been in a season of wandering. Travelling about without any clear destination. Feels like you strayed away from the path to your destination.
- A place where you are sensing no spirtual growth, and it feels like the presense of God is fading, and you may even feel unloved or ignored. But you are not, for his word says “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5) .
- In fact I came to let you know this place is a necessary place for every son and daughter of God.
- The purpose of this place is to train, purify,streghten, and prerpare us for anew move of his Spirit, resulting in us becoming more fruitful.
- This place is not a time for seeking what God wil do to benefit you. This is a time to seek the heart of God to say what does he desire of me. This will produce character and strength in you.
- For when your endurance is fully developed you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. (James 1:2,4)
So it looks as if I am wandering, but Im really in a place of being completed. Pharaoh will think, ‘The Israelites are wandering around the land in confusion, hemmed in by the desert.’ ( Ex 14:3)
- And what some of you have to be okay with is how it looks to other people. It was suppose to look that way to them.
The bible says “Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, 22 and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. ( Ex 14:21–22.)
- There’s a couple of things through Holy Spirit that I have to get you today. One being.. God is not limited to nature. There was no door so God made one.
- The second thing is ..The power wasn’t in the man that waved his hands. The power was in the man that was holding the earth. The earth is Jehovah’s, and the fulness thereof ( Ps 24:1.)
- The third thing is, and I got to say this and for those that a re proetic and recieve I want you to give God a advance praise when I say this. THERES A WIND COMING.
And what the Children of Israel should have been doing when they stepped into the sea was begin praising God. Somebody might say “Pastor why?’. Well I’m glad you asked. Because what the children of Israel didn’t realize is they had done was stepped into a season called WIPEOUT.
- In this season of wipeout whatever has been trying to run you down God is about to WIPEOUT.
- Whatever has been trying to entangle you God is about to WIPEOUT.
-Whatever has been trying to catch you God is about to WIPEOUT.
- So let me put your nerves to rest. Let me give you a spoiler alert. It won’t catch you. It won’t capture you because its about to be WIPED OUT.
- So instead of being fearful and afraid what they should have been singing while they was walking through the split sea is “ It may look like I’m surrounded but Im surrounded by you. this is how I fight my battles.”
-Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of Jehovah with you ( 2 Ch 20:17.)
Demonstration (They had stepped in the path of God.) Show all the things that GOD allowed to follow us so he can wipe it out.
The reason that thing has followed you up to this point is because you were also a slaved to it which meant you was always sunject to it. You was on its turf, but now the tables have turned. Because you just broke new ground and now the ground your standing on belongs to YOU!
One might ask how because of according to Ex 14:29. it said 29 But the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. And I believe that the children of Israel saw PROMISE on the otherside.
- Even though they may have been unsure in there spirit and fearful in there hearts. I believe that they saw something in front of them that was greater than what was behind them. I need you to praise God today like whats in front of you is greater than whats behind you.
- God does not want you entering this next dispensation having to look over your shoulder, having to look back, having to to still be tormented and manipulated.
