In Awe of God

 

Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles.

Acts 2:43

 

28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and *so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe*, 29 for our "God is a consuming fire.”

Heb 12:28-29

 

 

I’m Awed by the Miracle of the:

 

*Incarnation Because I [SEE GOD]! (John 14:8-14)*

 

/8// Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us." 9 Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time?

*Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father*.

How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me?

The words I say to you are not just my own.

Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.

11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves./

*Resurrection Because I’m [EMPOWERED] By It. (Ephesians 1:18-21a)*

 

/18// I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and his *incomparably great power for us who believe*.

That power is like the working of his mighty strength, 20a which he exerted in Christ *when he raised him from the dead*…/

*Ascension Because I’m [FILLED WITH GOD’S] Presence.

(Ephesians 1:20b-23)*
