How to Influence Others

31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God. 32 Give no offense to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God, 33 just as I try to please everyone in everything I do, not seeking my own advantage, but that of many, so that they may be saved. 1 Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ. 1Corinthians 10:31-11:1

How to Have Influence That Glorifies God

1Timothy 4:11-16

These are the things you must insist on and teach. Verse 11

Three Keys That Influence Others To Salvation

By Being A [CREDIBLE EXAMPLE] of Jesus!

Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. Verses 12

45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me. 46 Which of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me? 47 Whoever is from God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear them is that you are not from God. John 8:45-47

By [PAYING ATTENTION] To Your Role in God’s Family!

Until I arrive, give attention to the public reading of scripture, to exhorting, to teaching. Verse 13

Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received. 1 Peter 4:10

By [WORKING] On The Gifts God Gives You To Help the Body of Christ!

Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you through prophecy with the laying on of hands by the council of elders. Verse 14

For if these things are yours and are increasing among you, they keep you from being ineffective and unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:8

Meditate on these things, devote yourself to them, so that all may see your progress, Verse 15

Your Influence Is Seen By What You [DO] and By What You [TEACH]

16Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; continue in these things, for in doing this you will save both yourself and your hearers. Verse 16

7 Show yourself in all respects a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, gravity, 8 and sound speech that cannot be censured; then any opponent will be put to shame, having nothing evil to say of us. Titus 2:7-8
