Keep It In Mind

Genesis 37 NKJV
37 Now Jacob dwelt in the land where his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan. 2 This is the history of Jacob.
Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brothers. And the lad was with the sons of Bilhah and the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives; and Joseph brought a bad report of them to his father.
3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age. Also, he made him a tunic of many colors. 4 But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peaceably to him.
5 Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more. 6 So he said to them, “Please hear this dream which I have dreamed: 7 There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed, your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.”
8 And his brothers said to him, “Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?” So, they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.
9 Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”
10 So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?” 11 And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind.
Dream Again!
Dreams are a place where Faith has dominion! Faith’s domain!
Dreams are the only place where we truly become childlike again, no matter the age, physical conditions/restrictions, mental conditions/restrictions, or financial conditions/restrictions or limits. Even the very laws of nature don’t apply in dreams.
This may we why He says to go to sleep (sweet sleep) or He gives us rest!
If you can see it in your mind, you can possess it in your hands!
Dream: a series of thoughts, images, and sensations occurring in a person's mind during sleep.
God speaks to us in dreams…
Job 33:15-18 NKJV
15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, When deep sleep falls upon men, While slumbering on their beds, 16 Then He opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction. 17 In order to turn man from his deed, And conceal pride from man, 18 He keeps back his soul from the Pit, And his life from perishing by the sword.
I’ve had dreams…
Acts 2:16-18 New King James Version
16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. 18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.
Dreams are a venue where the Holy Spirit can show you the supernatural and super-spiritual!
No one questions the facts & circumstances within dreams… they simply believe!
Dreams are a place, once again, where Faith has dominion! Faith’s Domain. There are no limits nor are there any boundaries…just Faith!
Dreams are a venue of the Holy Spirit but also other spirits if you ain’t living right!
(Dreams {should} cause you to move in the natural: Jacob)
Let go back to the Dreamer for a second: He dreamed of greatness!
Genesis 37 NKJV (Joseph Dreams of Greatness)
Three things that caused hateration in Joseph’s life:
1. He told everything to his father (closeness to the father).
2. The father’s love.
3. His dreams
Jacob had to have told his sons, especially Joseph, about the dream he had, what God said and how He brought it to pass.
Gives understanding as to why after he rebuked Joseph for his dream, he kept it in mind.
To keep something in mind is to remember some information or advice and consider it at some time in the future.
I’ve had some profound dreams. Dreams that I have kept in mind.
How did I do that? I wrote them down.
I’ve had dreams that revealed to me everything that has come to pass in my life!!!
The dreams were pretty detailed but not specific…
I kind of understood the elements of the dreams but did not fully know what they meant or how it would/could come to pass.
Especially at my then condition and circumstance!!! Dream Again!
With Jacob’s dream, he understood what God said but how would it or could it come to pass he pondered considering his then condition & circumstance.
Genesis 28:10-22 NKJV
10 Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran. 11 So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. 12 Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
13 And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: “I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants. 14 Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. 15 Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.”
16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.17 And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”
18 Then Jacob rose early in the morning and took the stone that he had put at his head, set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on top of it. 19 And he called the name of that place Bethel; but the name of that city had been Luz previously.
20 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on, 21 so that I come back to my father’s house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God. 22 And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God’s house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.”
If…
1. God will be with me & keep me…
2. Give me bread to eat and clothing…
3. Come back to my father’s house in peace…
Then…
1. The Lord shall be my God.
2. I will make God’s house.
3. I will surely give a tenth of all that You give me, Tithe!
You see Jacob took, but Joseph received!
Dream Again!!!
This is likely why Joseph was so enthusiastic about his dreams and overjoyed to share!
Without so much meaning to do so, the haters began to prophesy and interpret the meaning of Joseph’s dream!
The time is coming when your hater’s are going to prophecy and interpret, for the good, what you’ve been speaking concerning your dreams!
Dream Again!
Just as when Balak sent for Balaam so that he would curse the children… come on somebody, Balaam and only bless and speak blessing over the children of Israel!
Dream anyhow!!!

Keep it in mind!
Write it down!
Wait on the Lord and He will fulfill it!
