How To Progress Through Pain – Isaiah 53:10

10Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer,

and though the Lord makes his life a guilt offering,

he will see his offspring and prolong his days,

and the will of the Lord will progress in his hand. Isaiah 53:10

I Can Progress In God’s Will Through My Pain  …

·         If I _________________ Jesus’ _________________ For  My Suffering.

27“Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? No, it was for this very purpose I came to this hour. John 12:27

10We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 11For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body. 2 Corinthians 4:10-11

·         If I _________________ My Suffering as a Way To ________________________ in Jesus.

2Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.. Hebrews 12:2-3

5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 6If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer.

2 Corinthians 1:5-6

·         If I _________________ My _________________ About My Suffering as Jesus Did.

33He took Peter, James and John along with him, and he began to be deeply distressed and troubled. 34“My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death,” he said to them. “Stay here and keep watch.” 35Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and prayed that if possible the hour might pass from him. 36“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.” Mark 14:33-36

·         If I ________________the ________________ of Jesus’ Resurrection to  Grow Through My Suffering.

10I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. Philippians 3:10-11

13Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14

I Employ Jesus Power When I Suffer By Pressing Forward in…

§  My _________________ For Jesus’ Goal.. (To Be Like Him)

§  My _________________ To Win His Prize.. (Knowing God)

§  My _________________To Accept His Heaven Rather than My World. (My Eternity)
