One Another Conversations

20Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord. 21The wise in heart are called discerning, and pleasant words promote instruction. 22Understanding is a fountain of life to those who have it, but folly brings punishment to fools. 23A wise man’s heart guides his mouth, and his lips promote instruction. 24Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. Proverbs 16:20-24

Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1Thess 5:11

For Me to Converse In An Encouraging One Another Manner

·         I Must Have The Right [goal of peace for the body]

15Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15

·         I Must Have The Right [source of inspiration from the word]

16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. Colossians 3:16

·         I Must Have The Right [purpose of submission to Jesus]

17And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:15-17

·         I Must Have The Right [attitude of heart toward god]

15 ….And be thankful 16 ….with gratitude in your hearts to God. 17 ….giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:15c, 16c, 17c

Encouraging One Another Conversations are Important Because God

[Recognizes me By My words]

33“Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit.34You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. 35The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. 36But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. 37For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matt12:33-37

KEY: Goal of peace for the body, Source of inspiration from the word, Purpose of submission to Jesus, Attitude of heart toward God, and Recognizes me by my words
