How to Live With Joy all the time

Psalms Chapter 16

Psalms 16 Is About David Foreseeing the Resurrection of Jesus

24But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. 25David said about him: “ ‘I saw the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. 26Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will live in hope, 27because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. 28You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence. Acts 2:24-28

I Can Live With Joy All the Time…..

·         By [Affirming that Nothing Is Good] Apart from Jesus

1A miktam of David. Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge. 2I said to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.” 3As for the saints who are in the land, they are the glorious ones in whom is all my delight. 4The sorrows of those will increase who run after other gods. I will not pour out their libations of blood or take up their names on my lips. Vs. 1-4

·         By [Accepting The Boundaries] That Come From Jesus

5Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. 6The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. Vs. 5-6

·         By [attentively following The Counsel] of Jesus

7I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. 8I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Vs. 7-8

·         By [Asserting The Hope] That Is In The Resurrection of Jesus

9Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, 10because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. 11You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Vs. 9-11
