Jesus went to His hometown to declare His mission

AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED, TO PROCLAIM THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD.”
there he was rejected and an attempt to kill Him was made
Jesus is now moving back to Capernaum
where He in now again teaching in the synagogue
Teaching with authority, teaching as if He wrote the scriptures and knew exactly what they ment
and this time the disruption is from a demon possessed man.
Jesus again demonstrates His authority as the Messiah from God
This man has been going to this church for years
how long has he been demon possessed and going week after week?
why hasn't the preaching and teaching caused this demon to be bothered?
Luke called this demon an unclean demon
the ancients believed in an clean and unclean demons
white and black demons
good demons and bad demons
is this still around today? and what does it look like

we take this as entertainment and made up not real and we have watched Disney and trusted Disney with our children
but we have been slowly indoctrinated into the occult.

all of this is practiced in real life
the mirrors, spells, incantations, and potions are all used since The tower of Babylon
Star wars and the good and bad force
the characters needed to tap into the force to give them extra human abilities
we are being indoctrinated into the thought that good witches are our friends
they are here to help
People today are possessed with what is referred to as a familiar spirit
to guide them in life
there are supposedly white witches who fight with the black witches
the white are like the good witch of the north
all of these thing we see on tv are teaching people about demons and the power of satan
dont think for a second that satan does not have power
look at when Moses went to pharaoh
his witches were able to do the same as moses for a little while
then they had to admit that God was more powerful than their magic incantations
in Job 1 Satan was able to control the weather
some kind of lightning and a strong wind
remember the sudden strong storm when Jesus was asleep in the boat?
Christians want to believe that this all make believe. good for a movie, in the end the good guy wins with the help of Satan’s demons
oh they are no called demons but that is what they are
what are the new shows on tv and movies now
good aliens who help us with on earth against the bad aliens who want to destroy humanity
hollywood has a good reputation of indoctrinating us with what is is happening in the demon world
When the world is either black or white its not good and evil
Its not the forces of good fighting the forces of evil that is what they think is happening
but satan is the father of lies. he is the angel of light
satan delights to be worshipped and he will take different forms and be worshipped by both sides

because in the mind of the people if it is an good demon then its on the side of good
V 31- 32 again Jesus is teaching on the Sabbath
V 33 the demon man screeched at the top of his lungs
the authority of Jesus teaching, and presence caused the demon to show himself
V 34 let us alone who is the us
is the man have other demons besides the 1
or is he speaking for the whole congregation
who was content with the old teaching that had no conviction
had no authority
V 34 have you come to destroy us?
they know their final destination
they know that hell is their punishment for eternity
there is a misconception now that satan and his demons are headquarter in hell
hell is their punishment not their headquarters
but they do want to take with them as many people as they can
V 34 The demon declares who Jesus is
The men of Nazareth refused to do this
V 35 Jesus rebuked the demon and it had to obey Jesus
it had no choice, Jesus is God
Having disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them in Him.
the rulers and authorities in the new Testament are hierarchy of satanic angels
Jesus on the cross has taken power from them
Jesus has absolute authority over them
but we are not Jesus

can a christian be possesed by a demon
there is a lot of demon possession i believe today
but can a believer be possesed?
lets look at this
You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
The Holy Spirit is in you
In Him, you also, after listening to the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,
Guard, through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, the treasure which has been entrusted to you.
the Holy Spirit will not share your space with a demon
our battle is in the mind that is why Paul tells us we need the full armour of God
turn to Ephesians 6 11
Jesus gives us all the weapons we need to fight and win
satan wants to fill our mind with lies
this is why we need to be in the truth of God’s word
we need to be in prayer
we need to be on our guard against the evil on and his schemes
don’t let him depress you by believing the lie
don’t let him threaten you through witchcraft or other demonic activity
Be of sober spirit, be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
we don’t have to be afraid but we do need to be watchful
