HOLY SPIRIT POWER

WELCOME:

Good morning and welcome to Oasis Church! I am so glad that you have joined us today.
Welcome to Oasis Church Moura and those joining us online.
If you are visiting with us, we welcome you and look forward to chatting with you after our service.

Theme: HOLY SPIRIT POWER

Acts 1:8 NKJV
8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Acts 4:31 NKJV
31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

LET’S PRAY

Father, we love You, and thank You, You are a good God. We thank You that You are here with us today. We pray a fresh wind of your spirit blows through this place and our lives. We pray that our minds will be alert and our hearts open to receive all You have for us today. Bless Your people today in Jesus’ name. Amen
God has a plan for our life. There are times when God will ask you to do things that are difficult. Can God accomplish His plans without you? Yes. But He asks you to participate in His plans because it strengthens your faith.
Remember we are born for such a time as this
This is our moment
Its time for us to step up and take our place
Esther 4:14 NKJV
14 For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
We may face uncertainty, failure, fear, and suffering as we try to fulfils God’s plans for our lives. But God is with us every step of the way.
Ps Ben Naitoko last week encouraged us that:
Romans 8:28 NKJV
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
This verse was spoken to Esther because she found herself in a position to rescue her people, the Jews, from death. But, if she followed through with her plans to intervene, she put her own life at risk because of the laws at that time. Esther was reluctant, but she trusted that, God sovereignly put her in that position at that time to do what needed to be done.
This tested her faith, and God was working all things for good in her situation.

The Disciple and the day of Pentecost, they were chosen for that time and today I want to talk to us about our time.

Acts 2:1–4 NKJV
1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
It has been prophesied that God is pouring His spirit out on Australia and we are seeing this take place.
We need to position ourselves and take our place (this is our time)

1. We need to move to where God, position ourselves

They had to go to the place that was prepared for them to encounter God through Holy Spirit.
Acts 1:4 NKJV
4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me;
Luke 24:49 NLT
49 “And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.”

*Prayer Meeting -

Praying for people; Believing for miracles; Break through; Salvations; Baptisms;
There was a great moment of being still in the presence of God.

2. We have to rise above our circumstances to the presence of God. Position ourselves to be where God is and where He is moving.

3. Be obedient to what God Is saying to you. Be a hearer and a doer.

Matthew 5:6 NKJV
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.
Isaiah 40:31 NKJV
31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Covenant and Mercy for a thousand generations

Deuteronomy 7:9 NKJV
9 “Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;

Sons and Daughters of God

Romans 8:14 NKJV
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Equip the Saints

Ephesians 4:12–16 NKJV
12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
