LESSON 11 June 3–9
Sabbath Afternoon Memory Text:
“Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, ‘Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads’ ” (Revelation 7:2-3).
What is the difference between how God makes sinners to chose to worship Him and accept His seal and how the devil makes people accept his mark of the beast?
- God does it by revealing the truth about our sinfulness, revealing the gospel and the cross and His amazing love, and encouraging sinners to choose the way of zoe life and not bios.
My conversion. I realised I was a bad person and dying so tried to change but couldn't change myself so I decided to ask God to do it for me...
- The enemy hides the truth and brainwashes sinners with lies about God.
He used Papal Rome which is the best example of how Satan works. Creates false beliefs that deny God's most sacred truths.
He introduced the immortality of the human soul to attack the truth about Christ's death.
Through papal Rome, Satan introduced the false doctrine of Mary’s immaculate conception to attack Christ's true humanity.
He inspired people to believe they can save themselves by their own good deeds to deny salvation by faith alone.
He forced people to keep Sunday which represents salvation by works to attack Sabbath...
Unlike God he also uses coercion. Through papal Rome he used fear to force people to accept false believes and reject the truth. And those who opposed him he tortured, imprisoned or killed using those sinners who surrendered to him.
Another Satan’s tool is Communism - forces people to reject God and accept evolution which denies Gods creation and Sabbath. It has some very very appealing ideas of making the world better but implemented by coercion and it failed because of selfish human nature.
Another example of how Satan works is the recent pandemic and medical terrorism… forced people with lockdowns, wearing useless and harmful masks and very dangerous mRNA vaccines.
Satan chose Karl Schwab - head of the WEF and inspired him with the idea of the great reset (another form of communism) or the new world order to be implemented also by force. Through Schwab and his book, Satan managed to create a small group of rich and influential people and organisations including Tedros of WHO, WEF, big pharma, heads of countries, heads of NHSs, mass media and heads of big tech Google etc and inspired them with the plan of controlling the world.
The first stage was the pandemic that was to trigger an economic crisis by forcing people and children to stay home for a long time although it was known that lockdowns are useless in preventing the spread…
Then using the same plan Satan forced billions of people all over the world to be vaccinated with v dangerous mRNA vaccines that permanently change the DNA code in our cells forcing them to produce a dangerous viral protein called spike protein that already killed many people or caused severe health problems.
Now Tedros says that another viral pandemic is coming and that this one is to be much deadlier than the previous one. They will introduce another pandemic because the first was not sufficient to introduce the new world order and new world government.
It is possible that the Lord may allow that to happen to prepare the way for the last events to start taking place including Sunday law based on the false climate change hysteria, the outpouring of HS, Satan's personification of Christ and persecution of God’s commandment-keeping people.
Satan also offers temporary worldly pleasures, fame and riches.
Example - Dudley (deadly) Canright ...
SUNDAY, June 4 Steadfast Endurance
The three angels' message of Rev 14:7-10 consists of three parts:
1. The first angel’s message is in Revelation 14:7, God calls all people to fear Him because His judgement has come and worship Him by keeping the Sabbath holy to show that we worship Him as the Creator and Redeemer . This is the first angel’s message.
2. The second angel’s message is in Revelation 14:8, God warns people about being a part of “Babylon,” a false religious and political system that includes papal Rome, fallen Protestantism, atheism, evil proponents of the great reset (WHO, WEF, BIG PHARMA, GOOGLE, NHS, MASS MEDIA, ETC.) that prepares the way for persecution, and everything that denies Gods truth. God also tells us to not have anything to do with this Babilon and to tell the truth about it.
3. In Revelation 14:9-10, the third angel warns against worshipping the beast and his image and against receiving the mark of its authority which is Sunday keeping while rejecting the Sabbath as God's seal and sign of accepting salvation by faith alone.
The angel declares in a loud voice, “ ‘If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God’.
Go to Rev 14:12
How do we prepare ourselves to obey to what the three angels' message requires from us?
How we can truly worship God, get out of spiritual Babylon, and keep the Sabbath refusing the mark of the beast in spite of losing jobs, being threatened with imprisonment, persecution and even death?
Read Revelation 14:12
“Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”
What two characteristics do we discover in this passage about God’s last-day people? Why are they important?
1. First characteristic:
We are to allow HS to develop in us the “patience o f the saints
The Greek word for “patience” is hupomone, which is better translated as “steadfast endurance”, the patience that persists till the end in spite of anything.
God will have an end-time people who are loyal to Him in the face of opposition and fierce persecution.
How we can we possess the steadfast endurance of Jesus, Stephan or Apostle Paul?
We are to learn to walk by the Spirit
Romans 8:13 (NKJV)
For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
How we are to learn to walk by the Spirit?
Romans 5:1–2
“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”
Romans 1:16–17
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.
What does it mean to live by faith?
It means living a holy and obedient life by faith which leads to sanctification.
And what is God’s formula for true sanctification?
It is the same as for justification.
How we are justified?
We hear about Christ who lived a perfect life and died for us, we believe, accept by a genuine faith and are justified and regarded as righteous and there is no condemnation for us as long as we truly believe.
How we are sanctified?
In the same way, which means also by faith.
Galatians 3:3,5
3. Are you so foolish? ...
5. does He who provides you with the Spirit ..., do it by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?
How we are to receive HS who is the only One who can control the law of sin and enable us to follow the Lamb wherever He goes?
We read or hear what God’s Word says, we ask, we claim God’s promises and we believe and thanks Him before they are fulfilled in our lives. And we repeat the same every day.
Romans 1:17: “The just shall live by faith”.
It means we pray, surrender completely, we are completely dependent on God for the obedience, we ask for the Holy Spirit and God’s power to follow Christ, we believe we got the power, we thank God for giving it to us before we see any results and we repeat the process over and over again every day until the end.
John 15:5
“He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”
True living by faith and walking by the Spirit requires constant PRAYERS and total surrender:
„Satan knows that all whom he can lead to neglect prayer and the searching of the Word of God, will be overcome by his attacks. Therefore, he invents every possible device to engross the mind.”
“We must be much in prayer if we would make progress in the divine life.”
“Few pray all night, as did our Saviour, or devote hours in the day to prayer.”
Read Romans 8:1–4, Ephesians 2:8–10, and Colossians 1:28-29
What do these passages teach us about the result of living by faith?
Romans 8:1–4
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,
that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
Ephesians 2:8–10
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Colossians 1:28–29
Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.
2. The second characteristic?
The faith of Jesus
The Monday part deals with it.
MONDAY June 5 The Cosmic Struggle Read Matthew 27:45–50
What does this teach us about what Christ experienced on the cross?
What did Jesus mean by asking God why He had forsaken Him,
and how does this scene help us understand what it means to have “the faith of Jesus”?
Matthew 27:45–50
“Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, ‘My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?’”
What was the meaning of the darkness?
Ephesians 5:8
When God created Adam and Eve they were sinless, filled with Holy Spirit and Gods agape love. As a result the beautiful light of the indwelling HS and agape penetrated through their bodies and was visible outside of their bodies. They like their bodies were covered with a beautiful garment of light.
And what happened when they believed Lucifer and chose his way of life?
The HS and agape left them and the light disappeared. They become spiritually dead. What happened with the light? It disappeared and they became darkness. They were contaminated with the law of sin and selfishness invented by Lucifer.
We all are the multiplication of their life and therefore we come into this world not as light but as darkness and as such we are born condemned to eternal death before we even sin.
What was the meaning of the darkness?
Ephesians 5:8
“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light”
Did Jesus come into this world as darkness or light?
John 8:12
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
Does it mean that Jesus took the sinless or holy human nature of Adam before the fall?
No because the Bible is very clear that He was made like in every point like His brothers or like Abraham's decedents.
So what was Christs human nature?
It was light in the darkness.
John 1:4–5
“In Him was life (zoe), and the life was the light of men.
And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
What does it mean?
In Christ there were two types of life, zoe (eternal, divine, holy, filled with Holy Spirit) represented by light, and bios (sinful, condemned life) represented by darkness and the law of sin.
Which type of life was victorious in Christ?
Zoe or bios?
Which law was stronger in Him?
The law of sin or the law of Spirit?
The principle of egocentric love or the principle of agape love?
The zoe life was stronger than bios, the law of the Spirit controlled the law of sin, and agape overpowered the egocentric love.
Was Christ victorious because He had divine nature?
No, because although He had divine nature, we read in Phil 2:7 that He emptied Himself of His divine prerogatives:
“He emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant (dulos = slave), and being made in the likeness of men.”
Christ overcome sin through the power of HS and by walking in the Spirit.
OK, so what was the meaning of the total darkness that took place when Christ was dying? (Matthew 27:45–50)
Jude 13
“for whom (false leaders) is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.”
The Bible Knowledge Commentary:
“Apostate leaders will be swallowed up into the blackest darkness forever; eternal judgment is certain for them.”
What does this teach us about what Christ experienced on the cross?
What did Jesus mean by asking God why He had forsaken Him?
Desire of Ages (Chapter 78—Calvary)
“The withdrawal of the divine countenance from the Saviour in this hour of supreme anguish pierced His heart with a sorrow that can never be fully understood by man.
Have you ever experienced pain caused by being rejected by someone you loved more than your life?
If you do you can understand but only a very tiny glimpse of Christs suffering on the cross.
The Saviour could not see through the portals of the tomb. Hope did not present to Him His coming forth from the grave a conqueror, or tell Him of the Father’s acceptance of the sacrifice.
He feared that sin was so offensive to God that Their separation was to be eternal.”
“Amid the awful darkness, apparently forsaken of God, Christ had drained the last dregs in the cup of human woe. In those dreadful hours He had relied upon the evidence of His Father’s acceptance heretofore given Him. . . . By faith, Christ was victor.” — Ellen G. White, Christ Triumphant, p. 277.
How does this scene help us understand what it means to have “the faith of Jesus”?
Christ maintained faith in God in spite of darkness, feeling being rejected and condemned to eternal death.
When soon we will go through severe persecution we will experience similar darkness and feelings and emotions Christ experienced when He felt like rejected by God.
Sequeira - communists 7000 young Adventists ...
The faith of Jesus is a faith so deep, so trusting, so committed, that all the demons in the cosmos and all the trials on earth cannot shake it.
It is a faith that trusts when it cannot see, believes when it cannot understand, hangs on when there is little to hang on to.
This “faith of Jesus” is itself a gift we receive by faith and it will carry us through the crisis ahead.
It is “the faith of Jesus” dwelling in our hearts that enables us to worship Christ as supreme and steadfastly endure when Revelation’s mark of the beast is enforced.
And yet, it is not something that out of nowhere suddenly appears.
God’s people have been learning to live by faith, day by day, now.
“The just shall live by faith” (Gal. 3:11; see also Hab. 2:4).
The time for preparation is now.
TUESDAY, June 6 The Ungodly Chain
The prophecy regarding the mark of the beast is about religious intolerance, persecution, and eventually a death decree.
What is the seal of God and the mark of the beast?
...
Read Revelation 13:15–17
What will God’s end-time people face in the final crisis?
No one can buy or sellunless they have “the mark.” (v. 17)
Satan ha already started preparing the world to implement this plan by prompting governments to create cashless society.
The recent forcing people to wear useless masks, lockdowns and forcing to get vaccinated were just an introduction to the future restrictions and eventually death decree on those who will not accept the mark of the beast.
When this happens, the immense majority will capitulate.
Anyone who refuses will eventually be placed under a death decree.
The devil is preparing professed Christians by compromises in their lives to receive the mark of the beast when the final test comes upon us in the future. God’s love for each one of us will strengthen us and preserve us during the times .
The recent pandemic, compalsory luselesss lockdowns that ruined economies, forcing people to use useless dangerous masks, and forcing mrna vaccines that killed and will kill many people and impossibility ti bring to justice those criminals that planned and used the pandemic as the first stage of great reset is the best proof that corrupt governments are able to kill those who
How we are to prepare?
Assurance of salvation and God’s love Prayers and communion with the Lord until we know His will and sense His presence.
Now is the time because tomorrow never comes.
WEDNESDAY, June 7 Those Who Follow the Lamb Read Revelation 13:1-2
Where does the beast come from, and who gives the beast his authority?
The first beast of Revelation 13 receives his power, seat, and great authority from the dragon.
Revelation 12:9 and Revelation 20:2 identify the dragon as Satan.
Satan works through earthly powers.
Revelation 12:3–5 says this “dragon”—the devil—attempted to destroy the “male Child” as soon as He was born. This “male Child” was later “caught up to God and His throne”.
This, of course, refers to Christ. Desiring to destroy the Christ child, Satan worked through Herod and imperial Rome. At the end of Jesus’ life, a Roman governor, Pilate, condemned Christ to die, a Roman executioner nailed Him to the cruel cross, a Roman soldier pierced Him with a spear, and Roman soldiers guarded His tomb.
According to Revelation 13:2, the dragon, Satan, working through pagan Rome, would give the seat of its government to this emerging beast power.
“Though primarily representing Satan, the dragon, in a secondary sense, represents the Roman Empire. . . . The power succeeding the Roman Empire, which received from the dragon ‘his power, and his seat, and great authority,’ is clearly papal Rome.”
Read Revelation 13:3 and Revelation 14:4
What contrast do you see in these verses?
In contrast to “all the world,” who follows the beast, God will have a people who will “follow the Lamb” instead.
As always, it will be one side or the other, for Jesus or against Jesus. There will be then, as now, no middle ground, no neutral position.
To not firmly commit to Jesus is, consciously or not, to commit to the other side. “ ‘And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved’ ” (Matt. 10:22).
How ready are you to endure to the end?
THURSDAY June 8 Jesus: Our Only Mediator Read Revelation 13:4-5
What identifying marks of the beast power do we discover in these verses?
The beast of Revelation is an apostate religious power that rises out of pagan Rome and grows to become a worldwide system of worship.
According to Revelation 13:5, it is a blasphemous power. In the New Testament, blasphemy is equated with assuming the privileges and prerogatives of God as an equal.
Read Luke 5:18–26 and John 10:33
What two aspects of blasphemy do these verses identify?
Jesus was accused of blasphemy by the leaders.
In Jesus’ case, the accusations were unjust because He has all the powers and prerogatives of God—including the right to forgive our sins.
And that is because Jesus is God. Or as He so powerfully expressed it: “ ‘Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, “Show us the Father”?’ ” (John 14:9).
Meanwhile, 1 Timothy 2:5 teaches that there is one Mediator between God and man, the man Jesus Christ.
In contrast, the Roman Church teaches that the priest is the mediator between God and sinful humanity.
But because the priest himself is a sinful human being, he cannot be our mediator because he also needs a mediator.
Blasphemy also is defined as the claim of any human to be God or to stand in the place of God.
Here are just two statements from the Roman Church’s authoritative sources:
The pope is of so great dignity and so exalted that he is not a mere man. . . . He is as it were God on earth.” — Lucius Ferraris, “Papa,” article 2 in his Prompta Bibliotheca (1763), vol. 6, pp. 25–29.
Pope Leo XIII boasted: “We [the popes] hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty.”—The Great Encyclical Letters of Pope Leo XIII (New York: Benziger, 1903), p. 193.
These claims become even more relevant when we understand that the prefix anti-, as in antichrist, doesn’t always mean “against” but also can mean “in the place of.”
Hence antichrist also means “in place of Christ.” Talk about blasphemy!
Characteristic of God’s people before the end?
Revelation 14:12
“Here are those who keep the commandments of God”.
What does it mean and why it is so important before the second coming of Christ?
There two types of commandments that people can keep, the commandments of God including the Sabbath commandment or the commandments that were changed by papal Rome. In these changed commandments the Sabbath was replaced by Sunday.
Why Sabbath is so important?
It is not because of the day but truth hidden behind the day.
What truth?
What does the first angel have in his hand?
The Gospel
What does it mean?
It means that keeping Sabbath is an expression of accepting the finished salvation in Christ and justification by faith alone.
Hebrews 4:9–10
“There remains then the Sabbath rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.”
This final conflict over allegiance to Christ or allegiance to the beast power revolves around worship, and at the heart of this great controversy between good and evil is going to be the Sabbath.
