NO RITUALS ARE PRACTICED

I once heard someone tell me that the first century Christians put into practice certain rituals with the assistance of the Holy Spirit of God; and I was appalled by the mere insinuation of a tragic idea.

I, declare that we should not assume that what ever is written in the Holy word of God is there such insinuations that there are certain customs as ritual that were practiced, or are practiced by the true worshippers of God. If there is anyone who say’s other wise is terribly wrong and I beg of that person not to mention such saying within the glorious realm of our Heavenly Father. In consideration, anyone who is caught in this idealism should reevaluate their beliefs; because they may be in danger of committing the unforgivable sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit of God. In regard, If we truly believe that the word of God is in fact the guidance of the Holy Spirit; which there is no doubt in my mind and heart that it is, because of what our Lord Jesus Christ told his disciples in (Jo16:13) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of Truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. So, tell me why then do some speak either against or contradict the very words? Lets recall what the very word of God say’s about this concept, and I’m speaking in terms that it is alive and active and does not mention any kind of practiced rituals (Heb.4:12) For the word of God is quick and powerful [living and active], and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of [quick to discern] the thoughts and intents of the heart.

So, in connection I have searched the scriptures and have come to the conclusion that when Jesus came to this world he came for many reasons, and not just one. For one he came into this world to do away with the carnal laws of Moses, and to bring us a more strong and powerful spiritual laws; that are based on the mere fact of that we shall live by Faith: (Hab2:4);(Ro.1:17);(Ga.3:11);(Heb.10:38), and this is not the practice of rituals. Although, the Jews did have ceremonies that they practiced, such as the Passover, and the animal offerings this still was not considered rituals of any kind of customs: they were at that time considered ordained principles of God, better known as God’s commandments. Let me bring only one of the customs that the Jews were commanded to take heed and put into practice; and as I said earlier this would be “The Passover”(Ex:12) this is in no case considered a ritual of any kind, but a commandment and an institution between God and the Jew which was acknowledged as a carnal law. Apart from this practiced custom they did in fact had others; and they were all considered commandments of God and not to have any relation with the rituals of this world. I have been persuaded that a lot of the words that man comes out with are to be known as worldly words, and have no interrelation with what the word of God teaches. I am also inclined to believe that because of all these words there is always a miscommunication, misconception, and misguidance of the spirituality that is contained in the word of God. We as dear children of God must always remember that we can not add to, or take out of this doctrine that comes from God : as this was prophesied by Moses to the Israelites it too applies to us as well as an exhortation of obedience (Deut.4:2) Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. (Duet.12:32) what things so ever I command you, observe to do it: thou shall not add thereto, nor diminish from it. As we know that most of the old testament was a prophecy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as well as thing to come and the new testament was, and is the fulfillment (Rev.22:18-19) For I testify unto every man that hears the word of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the Holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Again as the Israelites had commandments along with stipulation of severe degrees: such as the spilling of the blood of beasts without the rightful offering; offerings to devils; the eating of blood was forbidden; unlawful marriages; unlawful lusts and so on were by all means against God; and perhaps these were the commencement of the so called rituals of the world: just as they were commanded not to put into practiced, I truly believe that it also there for us to acknowledge that theses stipulation do in fact exist (Lev.18:29-30) For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people. Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein; I am the Lord your God. I know that we all know that these are the laws that were given to the Israelites and that some of these laws does not concern us; but any case the laws or commandments of God are all good and righteous (Ro.7:12) wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. So, by this being known we know that the entire word of God is the law and is applicable to all who believe and have the faith that nothing that is of this world shall come in between or tarnish our fidelity to our Heavenly Father. One thing I will say, if there is anyone who suggests that one segment or section of the word of God is a ritual they might as well as say that all of it is a ritual: for instance lets take a look at one of the practice that the first century Christians practiced (Jam.5:14-15) Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: and the prayer of the faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall rise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven. Now tell me would we have the right to consider this a ritual, God forbid: for rituals are customs of this world and are evil and come from the prince of darkness satan himself. I have learned over the years that people who do practice ritual on a frequent basis are satanic worshippers, voodoo followers, black magic assemblers, witch craft doers: who rely on extreme measures such as human sacrifice, provocative ritual dances, and a vulgar display of profanity. Lets be more sensible and attentive to God’s Holy word if there is no such saying’s as rituals why bother with it; meaning if its not there don’t assume that it is. If anyone assumes that one thing is a possible ritual they may as well assume that the entire word of God is a ritual; God forbid. Is the act of baptism a ritual, or a commitment of our faith, is carrying the name of Jesus Christ a ritual, or the acceptance of who he is: our savior, Is anything that is written in the word of God a ritual, no its not; because the word ritual again is a man made word, a carnal word, a word of this world. Yeah the leaders of the Jewish nation, or Jewish beliefs often times spoke of the customs that Moses delivered unto them; but I say that they misconstrued the very knowledge that God gave to Moses to their benefit. For example in the time that the Apostles began their ministry, and Stephen was a chosen one who very boldly spoke of our Lord, and as they too were he also was often accused of blasphemy by the elders of the Jewish religion (Acts6:11,14) Then they suborned men, which said, we have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God: For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us. If we are to really look at all the excuses that they came up with they all appear as scapegoat excuses to conspire the death warrant of anyone who spoke about Jesus Christ. If anything is to be looked upon as a ritual it would be this: everything that is in contradiction to the word of God, and everything that is man made, ill-mannered, and evil devices to construe the true essences of the word of God is a ritual in itself without a doubt. If there is anyone who is of this nature it is our duty to reproof, correct, and doctrine this person with the excellent, pure, holy, righteous word of God. We as children of God have the duty to defend the religion that truly belongs to God; but we need to keep in mind that the warfare that there is, is not warfare of the flesh. (2Cor10:5-6) For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal [of the flesh], but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; and having in a readiness to revenge [avenge] all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Even if its one of the brothers or sisters that have the misconception of a certain word as the ritual we have the duty to bring them out of that misconception with extreme carefulness of being tempted as well (Ga.6:1) Brothers, if any man be over taken in a fault [any trespass], ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. There is only one point that needs to clarified and that that the word ritual, or the practice of rituals was never apart of God’s plan. Another thing is that when the catholic church was erected they implanted many errors in the minds of people with the doctrine of their own beliefs. To me anyone who has this type of mentality is a disgrace to the well being of God’s true worshippers: who their existence is only there to disgruntle the righteous.
