A .  THE SHEEP GATE (3:1) THIS SPEAKS OF THE CROSS

JN. 10:11

11  I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd layeth down his life for the sheep.

B . THE FISH GATE (3:3) THIS SPEAKS OF SOUL-WINNING

MATT. 4:19

19  And he saith unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you fishers of men.

C . THE OLD GATE (3:6)  THIS SPEAKS OF OUR NATURE .

ROM. 6:23

23  For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

D. THE VALLEY GATE (3:13) THIS SPEAKS OF SUFFERINGS AND TESTING

5  For as the sufferings of Christ abound unto us, even so our comfort also aboundeth through Christ.

E. THE DUNG GATE (3:14) THIS SPEAKS OF THE WORKS OF THE FLESH

F . THE FOUNTAIN GATE (3:15) THIS SPEAKS OF THE HOLY  SPIRIT

JN. 7:38

38  He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, from within him shall flow rivers of living water.

G . THE WATER GATE (3:26)  THIS SPEAKS OF THE WORD OF GOD

JN. 4:10

10  Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

H . THE HORSE GATE (3:28) this speaks of the believer’s warfare .

Eph. 6:10

10 ¶  Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.

I . the Miphkad gate (3:31) this was thought to be the judgment gate and therefore speaks of the judgment seat of Christ

J . the Eastern gate this speaks of Christ return  the Kingdom

His triumphal entry—when He entered through the east gate .
