How we deal with other people says a lot about who we are and our character.

Our Duty to All People

We have a duty to all people regardless of their standing with God.
All people should be treated the same.

Bless those who Persecute You (v 12:14a)

This section of 12 starts out with a very hard command and that is to bless those you hate you.
This is exactly what Jesus said to do in Luke 6:27-28
Luke 6:27–28 ESV
27 “But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.
What this is saying is to love those who don’t love you back.
That is the greatest testimony that a person can have.

Bless and do not Curse them (v 12:14b)

Paul continues to make sure his point gets driven home.
We are to bless them not curse them.
