God Purifies His People (4:38-41)
Sin is the death in the pot.
The Lord will purify our lives through His righteousness!
God Provides our Daily Bread (4:42-44)
Bread provided for the prophets.
Give us this day our daily bread!

A Desperate Captain

The evangelism of a servant girl lead to the salvation of a gentile captain.
Humility is required for cleansing. “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Humility is required for recognition of our need and submission to God’s ordained solution.
Faith and obedience are connected. God often does His greatest work, not in flashy show, but in those who are simply obedient to His command.
God’s gift of cleansing cannot be bought. It is free!

Two lies, but the second one to the man who had spiritual perception.
God knows our heart. Will we obey Him or follow the lusts of our own heart?
