Learning to live an integrated live.

Troubles happen when we compartmentalize things and leave certain areas of our life untouched by others. The word “integrated” is somewhat of a buzzword right now.
Hosea 14:9 NIV
Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.

The foundation of life cannot be from within.

The problem becomes then in when two different people disagree.

Authentically living a faith in the world is hard.

This has been the age-old quest of God’s people from the beginning of time.

Israel’s problem was forgetting who God is.

This was the foundational problem.

Culture can subtly dilute faith.

For Israel they started to forget who provided the blessings of life.

The place where are desires are met indicates our faith.

Where are you desires and needs met?

We must go deep with God.

The issue is one of intimacy. The place where we are loved because we are known and known because we are loved. This is part of what the journey of Exodus was about—going deep with God.

God seeks people to know Him.

We see this in our passage and we see it in the life of Jesus.
Luke 19:10 NIV
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

Jesus faithfully, deeply, and compassionately loves us jealously.

This we must learn.
