Ecclesiastes 2:2 I said in mine heart, Go to now, I will prove thee with mirth, therefore enjoy pleasure: and, behold, this also is vanity.

and then in verse 24 There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.

To begin with I thought about the gracious great gallantry of giving our honorees their flowers while they can yet smell them. They need us to Give them their special attention right now. They need us to Honor them right now with roses, and daisies, and daffadills, and snapdragons, and periwinkles, and lillies and orchards, and magnolias and buttercups, and gardenias Give them their flowers while they can smell them.Brothers and sisters we ought to Serve them now with the accolades befitting of those special persons who have great integrity.

Because I read a poem that said Tell Him Now And it goes like this “If with pleasure you are viewing any work They are doing, if you like our honorees, Tell them Now. Don’t withhold your approbation till our honorees makes an oration. And they end up laying with snowy lilies on their brow;No matter how you shout it they won’t really care about it; They won’t even know how many teardrops you have shed; If you think some praise is due them, well Now’s the time to slip it to them. For they cannot read their tombstone when they are dead. So Give them Their flowers while they can yet smell them. If they earn your praise then bestow honor upon them. If you like them let them know it and be proud to show it. Let true words of encouragement be said; but Don’t wait until life is over and they’re 6 feet underneath the clovers for they cannot smell their flowers when they are dead and gone .

So in essence Give me my flowers while I can yet smell them.

I’ve search all over and I’ve found that the rain falls on the just as well as the unjust and the sunshine is the same way. But the bible says The just shall be like a light shining more and more unto the Perfect Day. In other words Jesus said Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

And to our honorees tonight let your light shine and keep on shining your lights because this little light of mine I’m going to let it shine. Jesus gave it to me and I’m going to let it shine..............

And when you do good work for God and mankind somebody will recognize your impeccable character, somebody will realize your Honorable deeds, and somebody will reward your Servant Hearted Service. The bible says in the book of Esther that Mordecia was Esther’s cousin and Mordecia saved King Ashauerus from a murderous plot to take his life. And the king forgot about Mordeacia’s deed. Time went by and one night the king couldn’t sleep. He had the books and the laws of the Medes and the Persians read. When they read the books the king found that he had not honored mordeacia for saving his life. Long story short the king made Haman honor Mordeacia in front of the whole kingdom. Yes Indeed and somebody say Amen.

And that tells me that the word of God is true. Psalms 23:5 says thou prepare a “set” table before me in the presence of mine enemies. Haman hated mordeacia. And what Haman meant for bad, God turned it around for Mordeacia’s good. And so brothers and sisters, Christian friends, well wishers, saints of God and to our distinguished honorees, If God be for us who can be against us. God will make your enemies your footstool. And no weapon formed against us shall prosper

because Greater is He that lives in me than he that lives in the world. Honorees what the devil meant for bad God turn it around for your good.. Because I hear you saying Give me my flowers while I can yet smell them. The bible says in Ecclesiastes 2:24  There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.

When we think about the goodness of the Lord and all He’s done for us we ought to be able to acknowledge and recognize God for the many manifold blessings that he has bestowed upon us. There’s nothing better for us to do the bible says in Ecclesiastes 2:24 than to eat and to drink in this banqueting setting and make your soul happy. Because one thing is for sure, You ought to give me my flowers while I can yet smell them because I’ve never seen a un-haul behind a casket. You can take it with. You brought nothing into this world and it is certain that you can’t take anything out . Job said Naked came I out of my mother’s womb and naked shall I return.

I was working on this message and I dosed off into a trance. And there was a woman in the flower shop in heaven and somebody asked here what is she doing in the flower shop in heaven.She said oh I just came to see the many beautiful types of flowers they have up here in heaven’s flower shop. She said while I was on earth nobody ever gave me flowers…She said I imagine they gave me flowers and accolades and a good eulogy at my funeral, but I was so busy up here praising God I never looked back to see. And heaven’s flower shop owner said so many saints come in here to see the flowers and he said somebody should have thought to give them their flowers while they come yet smell them. And Listen to the tint, tone, timbre and title of my message tonight “Give me my flowers while I can yet smell them” Ecclesiastes 2:1 I said in mine heart, Go to now, I will prove thee with mirth, therefore enjoy pleasure: and, behold, this also is vanity. I thoroughly read this and I discovered that

God wants us to prosper, and enjoy the fruits of our labors and He wants us to pay tribute, and bless others who are worthy of temporal praise. Because the bible says in Romans 13:7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
