The second woe is past. Behold, the third woe is coming quickly.

14 Ἡ οὐαὶ ἡ δευτέρα ἀπῆλθεν· καὶ ἰδοὺ, ἡ οὐαὶ ἡ τρίτη ἔρχεται ταχύ.

Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in

15 Καὶ ὁ ἕβδομος ἄγγελος ἐσάλπισε, καὶ ἐγένοντο φωναὶ μεγάλαι ἐν

heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become

τῷ οὐρανῷ, λέγουσαι, Ἐγένοντο αἱ βασιλεῖαι τοῦ κόσμου, τοῦ Κυρίου

the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!

ἡμῶν, καὶ τοῦ Χριστοῦ αὐτοῦ, καὶ βασιλεύσει εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων.

And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on

16 καὶ οἱ εἴκοσι καὶ τέσσαρες πρεσβύτεροι οἱ ἐνώπιον τοῦ Θεοῦ καθήμενοι ἐπὶ τοὺς

their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God,

θρόνους αὐτῶν, ἔπεσαν ἐπὶ τὰ πρόσωπα αὐτῶν, καὶ προσεκύνησαν τῷ Θεῷ,

saying: We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was

17 λέγοντες, Εὐχαριστοῦμέν σοι, Κύριε ὁ Θεὸς ὁ παντοκράτωρ, ὁ ὢν καὶ ὁ ἦν καὶ ὁ

and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.
ἐρχόμενος, ὅτι εἴληφας τὴν δύναμίν σου τὴν μεγάλην, καὶ ἐβασίλευσας.

The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they

18 καὶ τὰ ἔθνη ὠργίσθησαν, καὶ ἦλθεν ἡ ὀργή σου, καὶ ὁ καιρὸς τῶν νεκρῶν κριθῆναι,

should be judged, and that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And

καὶ δοῦναι τὸν μισθὸν τοῖς δούλοις σου τοῖς προφήταις καὶ τοῖς ἁγίοις καὶ τοῖς

those who fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those

φοβουμένοις τὸ ὄνομά σου, τοῖς μικροῖς καὶ τοῖς μεγάλοις, καὶ διαφθεῖραι τοὺς

who destroy the earth.
διαφθείροντας τὴν γῆν.

Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen

19 Καὶ ἠνοίγη ὁ ναὸς τοῦ Θεοῦ ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ, καὶ ὤφθη ἡ κιβωτὸς τῆς διαθήκης αὐτοῦ

in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and

ἐν τῷ ναῷ αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἐγένοντο ἀστραπαὶ καὶ φωναὶ καὶ βρονταὶ καὶ σεισμὸς καὶ

great hail.

χάλαζα μεγάλη.
