Well, good morning.

We can move from talking about the most important thing in our lives here on Earth, which is the test. The Lord has provided for us. He is a Grace provision into our lives. As I see it to actually

Remember I his grace provision and every aspect of Our Lives read, eternity. Let's see, just going over what we have happening throughout the week. So tonight we do have the names of God Bible study, but it's at 7 Wednesday. We do have the 7:00 Ezekiel study. So the study began to 7 and then the prayer time begins at 6:30, so people get here around and start going over prayer, request at cetera, and we have a time of Silent prayer and then we bring it back in and go to our study. I wanted to bring to your attention, a book. It was just released this week. It was authored by a member of my co students at Schaefer. And so is quite a few articles that are in here from people who I go to chaffer with Brad. Mass, that is actually one of the professors at Shafer. We have Jacob Heaton who is a pastor in Libra's in Colorado and attending Schaefer. Dane Rogers who is the pastor of the Tacoma Bible Church and I was formerly a

I'm trying to think what denomination it was.

Something Free something. What were those guys called? Anyways I m m a j Morgan Arnold who actually came from the Northwest and is down in Texas already. He's going to Schaefer as well and a number of other people. So

grace and truth. I have two copies. I'm going to put these in the back before the congregation, go ahead and take them, read them. If you want to keep it at home forever, go ahead and buy your own copy of the wise, bring it back so that other people can share it. Figured two would get let two people get into this part of it. So some of them are very devotional article. So a little bit to be logical and details. I think you'll find it edifying. So want to make you aware of that.

We had some.

Computer challenges on Wednesday. I was a bit frustrated. I think I kept my cool. I might have been in fellowship at least for part of that time.

So I ask again, your prayers for the technical stuff went on behind the scenes, which none of us can keep our fingers on everything that's happening, weird things. So I just appreciate your prayers that the Lord would bless and multiply also wanted to make you aware that I were

Are live-streaming is streaming. We're on the air right now and it's multiplying and we had people from four continents last week about 20 people, who listen to the entire teaching on tongues 2nd chapter of Acts and tongue. So that's encouraging because it's laudanum advertise thing. You're put out there is just currently God the Holy Spirit. Tapping people who go to the sermon audio Channel and brought them in or could have been referrals from the from some of the online stuff that I do Channing. But anyways, let's go ahead and open in prayer. You're the only father, we are thankful. We are grateful that we have this opportunity to come before you number one, to turn our minds from the things of this world. The number to, to be occupied with the things of your kingdom, the things of your word as we are on a teaching Arc. The purpose is to take us into an understanding of the church, how the church operates, where it came from, what are the guiding principles. And so in a interesting way, you have guided us from Passover to Pentecost in here, we are going through Pentecost and stepping into the unveiling of the church. Just exactly what we're looking to do. I study ourselves and so we pray, you would take this time, you use it unless it focus, our understanding, give us opportunity to have discipline mines, or caffeinated mines, whatever it takes sugared up, Then we might be able to concentrate on you and we praise. You look forward to your work and price. Use the same email.

So we are making our way through the book of Acts Acts chapter 2. And we are stepping last week, we were concentrating. The new church and tongs. And so I spent some time I'm going through and explaining what towns were for what they were about. How we spend some time, looking at Isaiah 28 and 1st Corinthians 14. Making sure that we understood the context. What scripture says tongues are about. And tones as it turns out, as simply the concept of spoken. Understandable, languages like English German French, or Italian, or a few hundred years back before Latin. Now only three Scholars and choir, Singers know Latin Lloyd did take a couple of years in high school. I was with an early morning class and to get in my full class has cuz I wanted to maximize every opportunity I had it, a school did gave you the opportunity to take things that were found nowhere else except for in colleges. And so I was so blessed and so I had no lunch. I had a class, then I had a first-period class before the buses got there to make sure that I could get in. And that's what I had Latin. So I got up first thing in the morning, driving through the fog, or the ice or whatever, waiting for the trains, because we didn't have the overpasses back then, so I can get all the way over to the high school. Find me, Bear, walking in, and we start up with Latin. So that was the beginning of my day. And then Today. Class after the buses at left, just to make Sure that I got in everything I could squeeze into my education. I remember now, it's it's kind of distant in my mind the requirements to graduate it was like 260 or 280, credits. Something like that out. And I graduated with, like, 320 credits, I kind of talk that one out today. We're moving on, from tongs were continuing the discussion we will be speaking about tongues more. We're going to focus a bit on the outpouring. The outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, we're going to see in Acts chapter 2 verses 4 through 13. So we have been working through what happened on the day of Pentecost, the Festival of Summer first fruits. This is the last of the spring festivals which Mel. We now know to associated with the first Advent only of the Messiah. Now, everyone of the fees for the festivals that Israel celebrate have something to do with her future and her future with the Messiah. What may not have been apparent upfront was the spring festivals were all about the first Advent, including Pentecost them in the fall. Festivals were all about the second Advent, or the second coming of Christ. But before we get into that, I wanted to take a step back and look at the local geography that we are describing. We're all, this is happening here, and Acts chapter 2 and here up on the screen. I have a view of Jerusalem as it was an, A D 63. This is a few decades after exit 2, which is a d-33 or 8:30, depending on your Reckoning. But it is largely unchanged, and it shows you Jerusalem in the placement of the Temple. The placement of the upper room. So you should be able to see the temple here here is Temple significant magnificent structure Considered one of the wonders of the world. At this point, I'm all the stone work, all the polished marble all the gold inlay that was in place. It was a phenomenal.

The normal structure, far far larger than the first temple or the second temple. Now, this is actually considered the second temple because it was a remodeling of the temple. It was not a getting rid of and then restarting the temple. They just kept working and working and making the site and everything around it. The mount itself bigger and bigger than they expanded out the temple and made it higher and higher. And so they just kept on doing all that work quite a few decades and bald and getting that all in place. But here you see here it's Temple and then we have the upper city which is right here. Now the upper city is in contrast to the lower City. The lower city is down the hill. Who are the wealthy individuals live. And then, in the upper city is where we have those people of royalty or those people of meetings who had Apartments, whatever, that's where they lived in the upper room as it turns out is in the upper City. So the upper room is in a wealthy individual poem that happens to be in the upper City.

By the way, from this picture, you can see God off a is right here. Now this section, right in here is actually outside the city at the time of Christ. So when Christ was crucified, he was drugged, taken from the temple and places of adjudication, herod's Palace the praetorium, we have the temple and he went back and forth, back and forth, and then, finally, he was taken up and out to Golgotha right there. When this big x marks the spot is where our Christ Lord, Jesus Christ was crucified outside the temple for filling prophecy. For example, you remember the levitical institution of the Scapegoat where one goat is taken or two goats or taken outside the city one is playing. The other is painted with the blood of the slain one and then released. Well in every way the Lord Jesus Christ and his coming up, hearing death and Resurrection fulfilled. All of the prophecies that existed of the week out about 300 depending on how you want to slice and dice 360 specific prophecies about the Lord Jesus Christ and this is one of them that he would be killed or slaughtered outside of the city. So I just wanted to show you this to give you an idea of what it is the word dealing with. Now, right now, we have the upper City Upper Room experience of Acts chapter 2 was happening. We have the rushing wind, the sound of a rushing tornado, like wind and then we have the apostles, making their way to the Southgate. Okay, now I'm the Southgate. I think this is north. The Believers here. We're going to make their way over there, and that's going to be where we have the interaction with all of the Jews, all of these just or righteous Jews, Believers from all over from all over the world as it were, who would come here for this? Feast of firstfruits, one of the three fees that they're required to attend in. So we're going to see that. We have that interaction happening right there but it begins right here. So I just want to give you a sense of the topography

Nope. No, this is the the upper city is really the place where the wealthy individuals live. Yeah, they're may have been, you know, someone who hosted you know and had Hotel type of things going on. But no. The 12 disciples were in the upper room on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit fell. So they were there in in Jerusalem.

You got it? Yes.

MMA went over to the south end of the temple here.

That's where all the crowds that gathered because they're going through the offerings of the Feast of firstfruits. So this is an occasion. This is a one-day feast in which people gather from all over the world in are here. So where are those people staying there? Staying all over in the outskirts, they're staying. Wherever there is a place to stay there. Pitching tents, there are millions hundreds of thousands. Anyways, the people who are in the hills and spread all the way around as far as they can get and be within a Day's Journey. So then they can March and be here at the gate first thing in the morning to offer up there. They're offering. And it is an incredible assembly line that the priests have engineered here, that all these people are going through stuff. Rights when I want to show you a second view as well. This one has finer detail. I know it's harder to see.

New shows you again the Temple mount.

Right here. And here we have the upper City. Or what is affectionately known as die on. The upper city is called Zion by the by the Israelites. So, if you wander and sometimes you're reading the text, there seems to be some type of a distinction between Jerusalem and Zion. Sometimes, you can just see that they're talking about Jerusalem which is in that all make sense. But then there may be other passages where it looks like it's talking about moving from Jerusalem to Zion. What they're talking about is this upper City region, hear the higher elevation, the top of the mount as it were only out Heights and by the Temple Mount, which is the highest spot on the hill, which Jerusalem is built on. So, in this particular,

Map. We have basically all of the occasions were that were Peter in the last couple of days, has his interactions with the Lord Jesus Christ, the denial of Christ, the cutting off of the ear, the proclamation that he would not deny Christ. And so we have each of these Sports Mark where the upper room is where the Garden of Gethsemane is over here, where Golgotha is right there. So that information is right here, anyone wants copies of this. I can print it for you. It will just be in black and white, but if anyone's interested come and come up to me at the break, okay, just raise your hand. Let me know how many copies I'm going to be printing. So what will do that will make those available for you? One of these skills, I haven't quite figured out is how to make that bigger. So you can all see it because it looks big enough to me, but then we put it on the screen looks kind of puny, and small.

Yes. Yes, it is. That is the same upper room and yes, where were they took Passover together? And it seems to be that we have the same Patron or sponsor who was involved. Who is supporting undergirding the ministry of Christ and is also undergirding the ministry of the Apostles. So, if God has gifted you, with me means, what are the purposes of that gift? Ended means maybe that God wants you to undergird the ministry that's happening so that it can be further than move out greater. So keep that in mind, if God is tapping you, if you feel the Holy Spirit, speaking to you, then feel free to write specific checks. This money is for and handed in to the deacons or a no operating and they will struggle with. How do we deal with this or bring it to me and we'll go through that, go through that process when Has any questions about giving? Feel free to talk to me, though. I like to be as blind as I can to the gift in The Giver. At the same time, I had to bility to play poker to sowa.

now, in Acts chapter to Loop documents that the apostles are in the upper room when the Holy Spirit comes, when we see this and acts 2:4 They were all filled at here. We have our word to come play me. We spent a couple of weeks on that to make sure that you understand the difference between Pim play, me and Kim play me with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues as the spirit, gave them utterance. Now we have every reason understand that there is a time lapse between verse for this verse and the next verse verse 5, in which the apostles, the 12 apostles move,

From the upper room to the southern Gates of the Temple. You might say that the camera view of our narrative, if we have a book or a screenplay here was telling the director, okay? All this is happening in the upper room. Okay, cut and I'll go to the next scene where they're either migrating over to the southern gate or there at the southern gate of the Temple. so following the movie Direction than we cut from The Upper Room, to The Devout Jews from every nation who are there, sacrificing and being involved in the worship of the first fruits of summer or as we're calling at the second first fruits, okay, together 46 says and work confuse my play, the sound of chaos but by the unique sound of Sense. There's this giant freight train Thunder. Tornado sound. And then we have Jews walking around here obviously galileans. And they are speaking in languages at these international travel on their journey to Jerusalem, understand To see we have a tendency to be reading through this passage and think it's just chaos or just craziness going on everywhere. And yet what is noteworthy about? What's Happening? Here is the incredible order and cents. Each of these Apostles are speaking in a different different language and people are hearing there. Old mother Tom, their own mother languages are hearing the mighty wonders of God and this then is sensible speaking in their mother language in an understandable indistinguishable manner. So let's look at that. Second Acts chapter 2 verse 5 to get a question.

Yeah. June 1st 5. There were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout, man, from every nation under Heaven. What does that mean about men me. These were actual Believers. These are regenerate Jews, who have trusted in the work of the coming Messiah. These are not just log Keepers, either, not legal list but these are development and not as hell. That term is used here in this context in an immediate context for 6. And when the song occurred, the multitude came together and were confused because everyone heard them speak in his own language. To see the confusion was not the chaos. The confusion was the orderliness that they could hear someone speaking magnificent things about, God, in their own native, Gentile language. And then we have a list of all the languages are all the areas that they come from spanning, the entire Known World at the time from Babylon. And I ran all the way over to Rome All the Way North all the way up to the Tarsus area below the Black Sea, all the way down to Egypt and North Africa. So, we have all these various languages represented and they are hearing the Magnificent works of God in their own language. God is what confuses them. How is it that I'm hearing this in my native language and these are just, you know, these are just Regular, local yokels. We are not International Travelers. Go ahead.

Interesting question. I thought about this but I don't think we have any indication in the text is telling us that what I think is going on is that as long as I have been in places like in the you know, in Tijuana man walking along everyone speaking in Spanish, speaking in English, in all the noise because that's my mother tongue and I need the only perceive it I can make sense of it and I get it and I think that's what's happening. So all these individuals or actually hearing that, which is normal, it's their native tongue. It's the first thing they're bringing is able to capture make sense out of all that's going on in the metropolitan area like this and there's no doubt about it. This is a major event thousands of people from all over the world. Each speaking in their own language is he speaking In Hebrew. And then you have this group coming in speaking, the wonders of God and you're going

Why are they speaking my language? And why do they look? So not like me. They don't look like me but they talk like me. What's going on? So I think that's a better situation. Is just the the human capacity, God is giving us that we tune in immediately to that you know, to go to hear that type of language. So the confusion again is I'm pointing outcomes because they hear them speaking in their own language, they are confused because it makes sense. What is confusing is not the chaos but the orderliness of God's communication. All of these individuals for Sullivan then they were all amazed and marveled and said the one another look or not all these with speak galileans. Aren't these? The yokels.

Appears to be the case. So understandable.

Is this speaking? So understandable that they recognize what is being said in their own language and what is being said? Converse 11. Verse 11, we hear them speaking in our own tongues. God is in our own language, is the wonderful works of God, Converse 12 and they were all amazed, and perplexed planes, one another, whatever. Could this mean, this is fantastic, this is amazing. Here we are in Jerusalem and the galileans from up, North all those farmers and Mountain folks. If you would had those fishermen and you know, not the ones we normally associate with, you had the money to travel all across the world, to get here to Jerusalem, but they recognize them for, who they are. And they say how amazing the work hearing these, our native languages From their lips and sold the specificity of the order and the organization of what God, the holy spirit is doing here is amazing and perplexing. These individuals, it is not chaos here. That is perplexing. Chaos is already here and I don't know if any of you on the 4th of July made it over to Ashland. I love, I know you're rolling your eyes. I love going to Ashland on the 4th of July. It is crazy and Wako, a talent as it is. And as many personal billboard, I expect to find walking around with their t-shirt saying that I love the fact that people from all over Southern Oregon come together and it is to the great preponderance, those people who are people of value. News people who care about the United States, who care about our values. Now, their perspectives may change, but it's also fun. We got the Jews for Jesus Booth down front. We got Christian organizations. We have child evangelism out there with a booth and they're bringing kids in and they're telling him stories and they're handing out color books, you know, which is the for those of you who don't know, child evangelism my color, but it was just a little felt book and it has or maybe cardboard book or whatever. But it has each page is a different color and each color represents an aspect of the gospel. And so it goes all the way from our sin to which is black to the the Judgment that must be paid which is the blood of Christ, which is a red page and gets all the way through. The celebration, I remember all the colors at this point, I have to refresh my mind, but that's going on there. People walking around doing personal evangelism, handing, out leaflets, and stuff like that. I want the place and there's something about going there. I know, it's weird, but I go there and I just go

Other people is like stressed out. Chaos get me out of here. There's heat. I can't handle it. Will all sudden at the Bandshell you here........... John Philip, Sousa music.

What was their perspective? They came to Jerusalem for a text with certain expectations and right in the midst of the chaos and all the things are seeing and people shouting, and all the noise, and getting ready, and moving. Your sacrifice is all the animals. Be moved up to the temple and they hear tongues. Wait, that's my language. There. Talking to me in my language were telling me about the greatness of God, amazing, amazing event. So they were amazed and perplexing one. Another Craigslist me spinner verse 13. We find that there is a contrast the signified by the Greek term. How to Ross heteros? Let's look at it back, 2:13 others. And this is our term heterozygous, and I have it up here on the screen for you. And the Greek and English heterosis means others by contrast. Others that are different. So these others, who are different from the ones, who are perplexed and amazed and hearing in their own native languages are mocking who they say they are full of new wine. Know you might have been taught at some point but there are others of the same kind and others of a different kind then, but I'll Lowe's allos. And how do you say h? E, t. E r o. S are the words that represent same versus different? That is not exactly true. As Heather. Ross can also mean the same thing as a loss. But in this case, had a Ross was mean a different thing that which is different, that which is not the same just like the Sesame Street song. However, it goes three of these things are kind of different. One of these things is amazing. It will. I'll try to solve our game. You got to figure out which things are the same, which things are different. Same different saying, different teaching, the idea of distinctions and discernment to children. But in this case we have Heather Ross like heterosexual which means attracted to the opposite. Sex hetero being different. The different sex Do I give me all kinds of things in our current messed up culture, for what it used to be in is in a male, is attracted to a female and a female was attracted to a male that is the original meaning of intent. The idea here is it sun, recognize the languages in her amazing Clarity. Speaking of The Wonder of God, others apparently did not recognize a language perhaps because they only spoke Hebrew or Aramaic that are a bit cuz that dialect is Hebrew. That was brought back from captivity in Babylon. When they went away to Babylon they came back speaky, the Aramaic. So we have vast portions of Daniel and some of the other books at the exhilaration postexilic point that actually incorporate Aramaic words in the entire passages and sections that are written in error. Again, we could call that if we want a foreign Hebrew or Babylonian Hebrew, but a tea Brewer that has been modified us no longer the normal dialect, we have an all Genesis all the way up until that point at which they get exiled. So

Now, this feeling Ministry of the holy spirit, that Luke is recording, hear the resulted in tongues is not the same Philip, but we think about when we think of the Ephesians, 5:18 command to be filled with, which is a different Greek word, plural p, l e. R r y means of God, the holy spirit this axe to filling those a sovereign Act of God. It is unexpected by the apostles. I'm suddenly, they find God the Holy Spirit. Upon them, ministering through them, The Devout Jews gather from across the world are, certainly not expecting. This is we just read. They are amazing. They are wondering. What is this? Where is this coming from the speakers? Of these languages are surprised and the heroes are surprised. Now to be clear this ministry of the Holy Spirit, like is like the Old Testament Ministry that we call and deumant. Who mad idea of enduement, is the coming upon the holy spirit to an able and Old Testament individual profit to commit some type of glorifying God. For example, when Samson is standing there in his place of destitution at the temple with all the Philistine Ward's, all the people of note there, the entire establishment of all of philistia there and a giant caucus looking down upon him. Do you riding your way? Because they have captured the champion of Yahweh and he prays Lord. Grab me this last. This last opportunity and he grasped the pillars and pushes them down and the destruction was not only the greatest number of people that he destroyed and all of his ministry but it demolished the entire civilization of the Philistines. Every person of note every Record Keeper, every Lord, every person of worth and value. Every person who was one of the propagators of the Felicity of religions All of those individuals in Mass were in one spot and God used him when we called that in. Humans were God, the Holy Spirit comes upon a person and you might work out his will. We have many many instances of that throughout the Old Testament in the term. We use is in deumant. This what we see happening in Acts chapter 2 is just like and dumenil on the Greek. We have our own language were not speaking in the Hebrew. We're not talking about it for me. Hebrew perspective, were talking about it from a very precise technical language that the author dr. Luke is writing from his a magnificent, magnificent Ryder and utilizar of the Greek language. Very gifted, very capable very articulate and very detailed, very Discerning when he uses a word. It means something I like to tell people.

Do I mean what I say and I say what I mean and I don't tend to speak much through implication that is I don't typically say something. I want you to pick up the pieces and figure out what I mean on the other end that just happens to be the way that I'm wired. I understand people who speak by implication. Yes, and I actually tend to ignore it as much as I possibly can.

But the point being is that Luke himself, says what he means, and he means what he says, it's exactly that way.

So am I getting things described or caught in the New Testament?

Relating to spiritual life or spiritual growth. We encounter in the Epistles writings of all the writings of James anywhere else, all of that is different. It is not like this. Pimp play me. The story of the Holy Spirit The Filling of the Holy Spirit. In this case is like in deumant from the Old Testament. No, let's revisit pimp play me. Browse we pointed our previously. This pin play me here. This feeling is always related to provision by God, the Holy Spirit to Speak something. It's always about speaking something, whenever we see pimp play me of the Holy Spirit, there will be a speaking for every single time without exception. There's no instance, of a pimp play me of the Holy Spirit here in the New Testament in which there is not, then a speaking 4th or something. So, we saw this and Zacharias, Who is the father of John, the Baptist, when he is filled with the Holy Spirit, right? At the time that he consents and says, yes, he is. Name is going to be John even though no one else in the family has been named John, he's silent his, his wife. Elizabeth is saying we're going to call him drawn, and the older just said, you can't call him John, you have no person in the family named John and then, Zacharias, indicates and writes. Yes, his name is Johan one. That is going to be his name, but that moment we had, we read that he was pimp play, mead with the Holy Spirit. His tongue was loose, and he spoke praises to God, and he gives a prophecy. About John the Baptist in the procession that he has for the Messiah as a person of the Lord Jesus Christ can play me. And then we have Elizabeth and Mary. They were both filled or pimp play me with the holy spirit. So it's not that feeling with the holy spirit that we think of which has to do with maturity and growth and the being able to live the daily operational life with the filling and support of the spirit, they were pimp play me that is God the Holy Spirit came upon them in this in German type of exercise that they might speak forth.

Magnificent magnificent, do you want to be encouraged? Go and read what Mary said when she was p.m. play me with the Holy Spirit going read what Elizabeth said when she was complaining with the Holy Spirit in you want even more encouraged, go all the way back and read what he said at the moment that she had the enjoyment of God, the Holy Spirit and she spoke forth a prophecy that showed not only the God was going to bless her and use this trial for his glory. Which turns out to be Samuel, who is the anointer of the king of Israel of David, who is the president and the establishing of the royal line, which results in the person in the lineage of Jesus Christ. And she speaks of that seed to come which is Jesus Christ and both Mary and Elizabeth. Impart draw from this prophecy this in June. I meant that Hannah speaks forward be encouraged, read that. Who is it? Exquisite, beautiful writing, the Poetry in the prophecy Blended together. I think is just magnificent. It is, it is honey for the soul. So I recommend that if you don't have anything on your list to do this week, put that on it and then we see that we have in Acts chapter 9, this fall of Tarsus this enemy of all the Christians, this enemy of Christ himself. Convert it on the road, to Emmaus recognizes that he who is confronting him is the Lord Jesus Christ himself and he recognizes it is blinded Jimenez. We are told that he is pimp play me with the Holy Spirit and then we have a pause some delay and then suddenly he is speaking 4th. With enjoyment power from God, the Holy Spirit. Same thing pimp play me something play me. Always every time involves that Ministry of speaking for now, you may say I want that. I'm really looking for that. In fact we a lot of Pentecostals we got like hers Maddox evangelicals and we got a lot of this. New postmodern portion of the church that says we got it. They got it. We got it. We all got it. We're speaking forth, all of these things of God, well. The horses. Sorry, you just went off a cliff at full speed, not recognizing the inspiration is of God. And God stopped that type of inspiration at the appointed time that he might complete the can and enforce the church to rightly listen, pay attention to what he has to say cuz who wants to pay attention to the Bible. If you got something new that's been said,

What's the point? What's the purpose? And? Yes, that is a big issue in one, but those faithful lovers of God, who are in the charismatic, Pentecostal movement should be concerned about absolutely because Peter tells us that we have been given already everything pertaining to life and godliness. There's no seeking and following after new blessings or new revelation. It has all been given already. So what is this row? They're taking people down the contradicts. What? God's word already says that? There is nothing new to be given because everything has been given in Christ Jesus already.

Will get that. It's actually a Mite less. Yeah, good question. But we're going there. So I won't, I won't reply. So this is the end of the use of the play me in the church age. For the documented history of the church, it is not found in any of the Epistles. Can play me is not used. There are three occurrences of him, play me a Luke which are considered Old Testament. So Luke is documenting that which is part of the Old Testament that contains a messiah up to a point which she

ascends when we move over into the book of Acts, okay, and actually had the beginning of the church, and Acts chapter two, not chapter one, but it acts chapter 2 soap in play. Me is not related to the church age Ministry of God. The Holy Spirit pimp. Play me is not a concept or a word for an idea that we want to incorporate into our understanding of what God does in the church age or in the church or in this congregation. You know, there are many pastors preachers and evangelist out there who wanted something like, pimple Amy. That's all they read through their scriptures, but being sloppy, not being those who actually spoke or studied the great that came up with this idea of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, a second gift, a s y c, a s thing, which they needed. And so we have people like Dwight Moody who said that he felt like there was a lack of experience, lack of ability, lack of

Functioning when it came to his evangelism and he wanted to become better and better, he was a shoe salesman and if you can shoot sell shoes and you know, you can sell anything right at. So he should be pretty good at evangelism which is selling the truth of the concept of what the Lord Jesus Christ has done. But he had this idea that at some point you receive this baptism of the Holy Spirit a second blessing and then he was preaching the thousands and all these people were hearing. Let me tell you, God has something called provisional Grace, God in his Providence uses. Whoever he wants wherever he wants whenever he wants, or is no need for a second blessing. And for those of us who step into the pool, but we understand is we have the gift of teaching. The idea is we have been gifted that we might be able to unveil unwrapped Revel. The things of God's word that our congregation might be able to eat feed grow and prosper. Then we have a sense of the ministry of God, the Holy Spirit going through our lives. We should every one of us and you should also it is not actually something that is a constrained to the pulpit. What is something that is operational in your life? You should have a sense and awareness of God using and moving through. You even when you're in prayer.

Maybe especially when you're in prayer. God uses prayer, certain people have a giftedness with prayer and I think we're going to find in the Eternal state that they have a magnificence that none of us could ever recognized here. In this time threshold, we don't get what it is that God actually does. At that point when people intercede on behalf of others. Magnificent also, when were involved in personal email, angelism New Jersey, gifting, there is an Awakening I don't know about you, but I've been out witnessing many time on the streets. And what I have found is always sitting there talking to some personal submarines have a sense, I just can tell there's the leading of God, the Holy Spirit and that conversation things are going away that I could not make them go. For saying things that allow me the opportunity to respond. The Lord gives me with the answers, are actually the very thing, the key into their ability to hear and listen and grow. So there is that magnificent movement that is available to all of us, but that is not complaining. That is the normal Christian. Why in the problem we have is so many individuals visuals out. There are so used to living the normal non-Christian life, but they don't know what the normal Christian Life Is, it is a supernatural event where God is using, you, you are plugged in, he is You got yours, normal. If that is not normal for you.

Something broke.

Something's broke. It doesn't mean I'm not talking about emotional experiences. I'm just talking about there is a supernatural order in life, we believe in the Supernatural, we just do not believe in being led by the subjunctive the sub.

Do they not subjunctive but the what's that other sub word? Subjective. Yes, thank you. I was caught.

So moving on Kim. Play me. Not related to the church age Ministry of God. The holy spirit. Makes me see the Pentecost. Who's a Second Harvest Festival, Pentecost is a Second Harvest Festival.

We are the first Harvest Festival. Keep in mind, the Pentecost then is the Second Harvest Festival. Following after Passover, the first Harvest Festival was called first fruits. That was the day of the resurrection of the Lamb of atonement you. Shua Jesus, the Second Harvest Festival, follows a week of weeks. Plus one day after the first Harvest Festival, making 50 days or in the Latin, from which we have taken. So much of our theological vocabulary, much of it to our own detriment. It confuses a lot of things for people, it is. That's just the Latin 450 Pentecost, okay? So all of the festival What was the festival's? Look forward to something being done. Why God to Israel and it does not follow. Then, for us to say that the Pentecost is about the church, it really must be restricted to something happening related to Israel. This is where so many go wrong and their improper, interpretation of the events of acts as we are seeing already. This results in wrong doctrines about the church age, the nature of the church, the purpose and roll and get things of church congregations, the proper and incorrect understanding of ministries of the holy spirit, will we call pneumatology? And if we look at the progression of the feasts, as fulfilled for Israel, we have first Passover Fulfilled by the death of Messiah of Israel. Passover, which occurred on that Friday at Fashion Week, was fulfilled by the death of Messiah. The Messiah of Israel is the Lamb of God for Israel. And then we see that the resurrection of the Messiah of Israel occurs on the Feast of first fruits, which is that Sunday of that passion, week Friday, Saturday Sunday. So on the third day he was resurrected the first fruits from the dead. The first fruits resurrected permanently from Death, he wasn't as we have called that, resuscitated only to die again and we have examples of that even Jonah who is the picture that the Lord refers to interesting. Lee Jonah being a Galilean coming from Galilee and when the Lord Jesus Christ is being refuted by the leaders of Israel in Galilee, he says even the sign of Jonah was a Galilean will condemn you and you will be condemned by those of Sodom and Gomorrah. And every other judge place will be thought better of venue cities of Galilee who are rejecting the Messiah. And then he says the same thing to the leaders of Israel. Who right after that The moment rejected him and he says, on what grounds did we do you? Reject me, I've done the signs of the Messiah.

power of And he says, well then you are guilty of the blasphemy of the holy spirit because God, the holy spirit is the one who did those signs to show that I am the Messiah, so bad calling here in Satan and rejecting you. And you've brought a curse upon yourself and upon the nation of Israel.

Show Resurrection.

First. Fruit, the first to come back from the dead permanently from the dead, is the Lord Jesus Christ. And then, on Pentecost, We have the coming of the Holy Spirit.

For Pentecost, which is the second Feast of first fruits.

Or the second Feast of harvest. It is the first fruits and summer, whereas firstfruits itself is the Harvest of the spring for Pentecost. It is about the coming of the Holy Spirit. Lord, Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead, why? The he might pour out the blessing of the Holy Spirit. So we see that on Pentecost, we have the Fulfillment of the coming of the Holy Spirit. As promised in the New, Covenant prophecies about the Messiah, the Holy Spirit came as promised, and this was a fulfillment know if Israel had accepted you, shua Jesus as the Messiah, then the predictions related to the new covenant could have taken place. At this time, including the establishment of the Kingdom. And here is where it is, exceptionally simple. And yet we find that people have improperly complicated. It there is an offer on the table for Israel. Yet God, started something new with these two things. Overlapping in transition. Which are as Israel rejects God's offer. The Messiah, God is establishing the church age. Two things rejection? Of God by Israel establishing of the church and the church age by God, the birth of the church, but it is entirely begun with Jews. The promise and offer comes to Jews. The birth of the church is exclusively with Jews Israelites. Who is he messing? But Jews for the first five chapters of Acts. Go Go Juice more positive to the offer, though, they positive volitional response, the Apostles of Jesus in the upper room game, or the very me games of reiterating, the offer of the Messiah to Israel. And while many individuals believe then join the church, the nation and leaders. A spokesman for the nation. Continue to reject the offer of the Messiah, someone off. And on this, for this first half, So we see then rejection and judgments. Maybe simultaneous acceptance and blessing bus, the new churches blast. In the very midst of the nation, that is cursed. So we see a refutation of Israel as a nation because they have rejected the Messiah and we see a blessing of those Israeli National to have accepted the Messiah though, their nation has rejected them and in that acceptance, God uses in to start the church. The church age, begins with those Believers of Israel, who accept Messiah, even though the nation rejects Messiah. So you see, we have to cross and contrary things happening at the same time, but keep a clear in your mind, their separate and distinct. And yet they're happening at the same time that prevents us from getting into a lot of errors and mistakes are trying to figure out how all this is all working out. It's simple, very simple. Israel has rejected Messiah. These individuals have accepted him with the closing prayer for this first half, orderly father, we thank you for this time. We are gracious for the opportunity and the freedom to be able to come before you. And to study your word, we are thankful for the country. We live in the provision of this place of worship where we can gather and the means you have made a bailable. We are blessed to be those who worship and serve you in the study of your word and we look forward to more being unveiled before us. We prayed all in Christ Jesus name.

Video that they just saw that came true. Robbie's church. One was Aaron lift.

Or just go to Robbie Deans in the grip of the Lamb on YouTube.

Videos. So,

It's not that hard.

They are open.

You have it working.

How's work been? Well, hello. This is as usual.

Across the street. I don't know where that was the people directly across or we're shooting off fireworks.

Questionable.

Territory.

so, my dad was dreaming, he said, We were online for about 30 minutes and then we're Now offline. That happened to me. and then went back on, but it is also, it was a little staticky, was it? Yeah, the whole time. So don't know if anybody else is There's not much.

It's interesting. So if and when I go and listen to the Listen to the recording, seems to be pretty pristine. so it might just be busy like using his phone to do it, or okay, I don't know if I use my phone.

I wonder if it's the cell service or

Look up to check if I'm here cuz we got a broadband connection from here. Okay. Yeah, he just wanted to check to see if he had any issues.

If when I if I pulled the Bobby Deen, they're not streaming on my phone. it sounded like

hey, call my phone but you know just wonder if it could just be the set up to cuz I'm doing everything. Just threw a laptop. The same ones I'm using to

I hear it when I listen to the recordings but they sound really, they sound really clear. The, the recordings do so on this is and it's recording what gets live stream. That tells me it's getting up to the cloud. Clear the clouds recording a clear. And then somehow between there, when is we listen to how to play with that in due to screaming when we're not in the middle of service and

Have some of those. You listen to it myself, you are crazy in a feedback loop.

Just to see what you going to do.

Would you talk to this?

How do you eat an elephant, you know?

Who is Robbie Deans they have a dedicated computer dedicated video equipment dedicated audio equipment called that's tied together. They have you know, gold connector pieces between everything is all tied together. Dee's brother has one who oversees at all and they have someone is back there managing at live listing on headphones while it's happening, you know and watching the whole recording here. I just turn it on and go.

We were bigger, you know, so start inviting more people I guess.

See what happens. I have, I have a big family would suffer from what I'm trying to get. I need to, I need to talk to my cousin Eddie.

You know.

He was trying to put everything in his mouth at the time.

I don't really think that she said of his message.

Will people go for the wrong reasons and then they all realize that they've been indoctrinated in something that is completely unbiblical and lose your salvation, you know, works. You know about Grace Great emphasis on the gospel, you know, Christmas messages and stuff like that. But that's why a lot of people go there, a great Easter thing to put together a Christmas thing. And you know the pageant was all the actors in, you know, that kind of stuff.

I've been there a couple of times with her and I have left. I mean, they weren't, they weren't, you know, like what I mean.

I don't want to sit here and waste some time. The one thing that I don't know if she Weather for wearfit. You know what? I talked to her about

I love it. Love it only says that if I said what what does the Bible say when she goes? Totally forgot which isn't true.

She really doesn't want to do stuff for her, but she has her views on the foundation in scripture. It's not actually the authority in her life.

The church.

Her back here. I'm sure all offender in the first first time, she's here.

Just happens. I can see it with people who are here for the first time in all say things, you know. Like I'm talking about tongues in the last week and the week before and I see a couple people said Hillary. How can you be saying that? Where is Devon learn to sit there and hide their faces? You know, I'm Poker Face. You know, and take notes and stuff. So I can see that they're not accepting the message. So

It is.

Cheap flights 11/12. It's like yeah yeah. They don't understand why they understand, love is the emotion, the feeling of how to make people feel good. I feel good. You feel good? We all feel good. Just to be in the middle latitude of appropriate.

Appropriately repeating the grace perspective and the full perspective of God has towards us, which is one of love and they're coming up with a human Viewpoint solution, which is probably has much more to do with psychology and then announce it, which is an anti sin and God anti values. News man made a creation of Destruction absolutist Roy's. You know, people who interact with it. So it robs them of the foundation of thinking which God gives, you know, it starts V with volition and understanding of what a free volition. Instrument, we are as humans and how weird interact with the things of God, we can choose for again. And then relationships in the foundation of the family. It's all about his reject Warlock. The way it's all been my destroyed, so there's definitely nothing of a real rigor, of real proper thinking. Examination analysis. Reflects done.

That's not the right love.

You don't teach me the truth.

Yeah, that's that's another big lie.

I have a rice crispy treat.

Know what you're getting.

Vanessa.

I know.
