Fifth grade for the only father, we thank you for this opportunity to come into your presence during this time or offertorium. We come to worship you in the free-will giving the sacrificial giving sometimes but it is the giving of that with which you have blessed us and we might and return bless the ministry that you have established hear me roar thoughts. Be rightly Tunes. Lord that we understand that this is a response to your grace provision responding to you. Therefore in the privacy of our hearts, we have decided and agreed with you on that. What you have set before us, the right amount to give more than an act of obligation. It is a gap, an act of worship. It is an act of understanding that we returned to you about, which has been given to us. And even as we have found a cell Mission that we did not achieve. We did not earn, who's given to us based on the grace provision of Jesus Christ. So too, we understand that with the things of Our Lord, after having been saved, you are our every provision. Therefore, we reflect both salvation, your Perfection and your daily provision, and we worship you at this time, with the giving of the offering indicating our love and our trust in you to pray these things. In Christ name. Remember.

Thank you, girls. Have fun. Be good. Take care of Misty. Don't let her get into trouble. No silly stuff.

Things. You thought you never hear in church?

Different. Yes. Roy. Let's go ahead and open in prayer as early father. All right, you know what I do things is not like the other, okay? That we thank you for this time, we have dedicated to the study of your word, and we might be those who grow in Grace, who live is Supernatural. I, by virtue of Grace provision, having been made available to us. And for us, we worship you because of who you are, because of what you have done, Lord, you are the master in the creator of the universe and you have made it possible that we might meet with you between the wings of the cherubim. We're not held out of the Garden of Eden for eternity, who we have instead been brought to the reconciliation work of the Lord. Jesus Christ, having paid, for our sins through his blood, taking the Judgment for all sin of all mankind, upon himself and having trusted in that work and that work alone. We come to the only place possible to meet with you where that blood has been poured out where that work is shown and seeing between the wings of the cherubim.

So we come to Worship You, Lord, as we study your word, which is the essence, the meaning of worship to come together and Truth. Examine a truth. That we might be changed by this worship. We reflect that Lord your glory. In this time, we Praise You In Christ Jesus name. Amen. Right.

Quick quick, quick.

So we ended on this idea of rejection of Christ. The Messiah of God, the Messiah of Israel, the anointed one, the Lamb of God sent to pay for the sins of all of Israel. The only way to pay for the sins of all of Israel is to pay for the sins of the whole world. So, we find that in the blessing, which is from a friend of Israel, it comes from that gift blessing, we saw in Abraham that all the world might be blessed through you.

Do the person in the work of the Lord Jesus Christ. God is how blessing comes into the world. And so Israel, though, a protest a direct beneficiary of the work of the Messiah. Is just the beginning. They are the source. They are the promised one. And yet all mankind is blessed. In the process. So again, we see the massage I rejected by Israel nationally. And yeah, we see individuals who have received the Messiah mess. God begins this new thing will Paul declares as a Mysterion, a hidden the move.

Unexpected. Unseen unprepared for Unspecified seemingly B. You're a chess player. You might be able to think one or two moves ahead. If you're a good chess player, you can probably think 345 moves ahead. Not just your moves, but also the person on the other side, but that includes every Every. I am every single piece that still on the board and what happens if you move those and you can think of all the possibilities that range through. But God does an amazing thing in this chess game of life and that when it seems that always come to an end because the Chosen People Israel who have rejected their gun, Lord their King their Messiah, their redeemer, they reject him, and they come to an end and not accepting him. God does a new and unexpected thing not forcing on the chessboard. That is he creates the church age? And he establishes the church. See the church age. We should come up with another name for because really this is the age of the church. This is the age of that new organic thing, the God is doing a new and unique thing. For those who have abandoned, the prom surprise, therefore have abandoned the promise of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, which we have been studying and we find that there is still that outpouring of the spirit on those Israelites, who believed they are Israelites. The holy spirit is still portal. God has been faithful to his promise, and yet, this new thing becomes the church.

It brings us to the issue, the idea. What do you do, then? What was the need? What was happening at this time? The book of Hebrews was quite clear. Addressing those people who are Israelites, who had followed after the massage guy, but they have returned to the liturgical to the processes of the Old Testament, as if they could be made righteous Again by those things. When they've already been made righteous by a superior thing, they seek for Superior promises and B. Write her fever is comes and says, in every way what you have in Christ is better, what are you going back to then nothing? You don't gain anything by going back to the law, back to the sacrificial system. In fact, you give up everything, not as in, give up a Moose sound ation, but you've lost the focus of your purpose and who you are, who God has called you to be. Show me, ask you this question. Do you think then? but the Israelites who had become the church or than praying for the survival of their Nation, they know it's under judgment. They know, but it has been cursed by Christ that every stone will be removed. They were told the temple will be torn down. Nothing will be left of the magnificence of herod's Temple.

What is their approach to be?

So I thought I would dress that for ourselves by the way. Whether you believe in the doctrine of the client Nation, we God continues to have a nation that operates as his client to present the gospel and blessings to the people the world or not. Whether or not you believe that the United States is a client Nation to God or not, you would be crazy to not understand that our leaders

The leaders of this country speak on behalf of our nation and that we as a nation are blessed. Or curse based on their leadership, their commitment to our national partners, for enemies, or friends or foes. And by that, I mean, the international Collegiate nation that are out there the relationships.

Good are engendered or destroyed. My question is this are you praying for our leaders? Now, not the ones you want to have in place right now but aren't Which you can pray for them, and they probably need it. But those who are in place right now, you see, we have more reason to pray and intercede when leadership is on the wrong track than at any other time.

Pro Tools verse in 1st Timothy Chapter 2, Verse 1 to 7 to pray for kings and those in Authority, 1st Timothy 1:7. Read therefore I exhort first of all that supplications prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made before all men. This might remind you of a possible passage that we have in 4th, is it talks about not to be anxious but instead by prayer supplication and Thanksgiving

To make your requests be made, be made known to God. And then, if you do the peace of God, that passes all understanding will Garrison, it will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. We had a interesting examination. One of the names of God that we looked at here a couple weeks ago, which is that he is our Hightower, the Lord is, and we can run to him, and when we do, we find that he Garrison's us Old Testament, New Testament, the Old Testament promises, that those who ruin to their high tower will be garrisoned and guarded the New Testament promises that those who pray for supplication with the Will find themselves Garrison. It's the same promise. Just written out differently for different audiences.

And here is another interesting, portrayal. Did you notice this one kind of irksome little piece of it.

He said his. Supplications prayers and intercessions and giving of thanks.

Giving of thanks be made for all men. How does that line up with your prayer?

Look up, line up with your prayers, for those who are in leadership in our nation. Are you praying with Thanksgiving for the current president, for the current cabinet members for those liberal individual goals and all the work that they're doing.

Justice be applied. Exactly Thanksgiving is this?

You see, we have an adjustment to make here. If this is not our thinking we are out of line. We need to be praying correctly, rightly oriented towards God's provision. You see, we have to be aware of a few things. Number one, God number to God. Number three, God, pray, God is in charge, God is Sovereign. God has allowed the current Administration to be in place for some type of Reason, which may be corrective to, the nation. May be, our nation needs to be corrected from all of the problems and all the issues and they

God is. Why? I thought we might be involved aware.

And praying. So we should be thankful for God's having brought these leaders into that position because God is doing what is needed for this country. Didn't think so that's not what you thought happened. When the Great election turn happen with all these millions of dollars showed up that didn't correspond, to any individuals couldn't be tracked back to any person. All the blips on the voting machines, all the changes in the network, all the traffic that went over to Europe and then came back to the United States. All these weird things that happened Do you think God didn't know what was going on? Do you think God wasn't in charge? What kind of fools are we, if you don't respect God's sovereignty, let me lay that out there for us. Have you been rejecting? God's sovereignty? Are you a fool? Are you a fool in your thinking about these things poker faces, please?

First to Four Kings and some who are in authority of, not only are we to be praying for all men. But specifically for teens of those in Authority, that would be said, L and I just referred to that we may lead a quiet and Peaceable life in all Godly and reverence That word godliness is our term used to buy it, which means spiritual life. That you might be able to live the supernatural spiritual life. God has made available to all believers.

That was part of the purpose of your prayer. Your to be praying with Thanksgiving. And it's Thanksgiving isn't part of your prayer. You're probably actually aren't praying. You're probably be exercising. Your human Viewpoint in the situation. That is a worthless effortless prayer. Now can God convert your prayers? Gas does God convert the prayers of little children just like we do we understand what they mean. Even though they say something completely different, they say the wrong word, they have their own vocabulary, we still understand them. Come God condescend? Understand us. Yes. But the point is, he's raising us up like children who are growing into maturity and part of that raising up in that growth cuz we might be right in the oriented to think. M exercise, the supernatural life via Grace, Anna, Grace perspective. The way that he has established. That is God's desire for us. That we may lead a quiet and Peaceable life in all used to buy and reverence in the word reverence here actually means orderliness. USB word. It comes up a little bit later on in the later. Passage that follows just talking about women being quiet in the assembly and not asking questions. That mean that the women should be raising her hands and asking questions? No, it actually means the same thing. It means orderliness, So there is a protocol. There's to be an orderliness. That is part of what's going on, isn't he? Shut up and sit in your seat? That's not what Paul is saying. He seemed the orderly be disciplined, do not be disruptors.

Will be participators in the teaching in the doctrine connecting her asking questions. If you don't understand what's being said, if it isn't clear at that's all fine from this pulpit and Miss Pastor, ask your questions would just understand the command to shut up is actually a command to be do things in order in an orderly fashion, which we adhere to

so, then verse To not notice that it says, here for kings and some who are in Authority. Is that what you have in your Bible?

No. You have something different for kings and son, who are in authority.

This is 1st Timothy 2 verse 2. Four Kings & Son who are in Authority so I can I got another slide Four Kings, and most

Most who are in Authority. Not some not

Okay. How can I go to the slide for that? Then? Okay, for kings and who are in Authority? No exceptions. You don't get to pick. It's not the ones you like in the ones you don't like. It's all who are in Authority. Are to be the ones that you are praying for interceding on behalf of, are you doing that? Pokerface? Please. Are you doing that? This is God's call God's command in your life, how you are to be dealing with this madness of a national situation that faces us? Are you doing this?

First three for this is good and acceptable. In the sight of God, our savior

we are to do this. It's a command and it's good and acceptable. In the sight of God, our savior or walking up in the morning said, Lord, I just want to do something today. That's good, I'm acceptable.

Raven for your leaders. Those people you probably want to hate and give Thanksgiving in your prayer and supplication for them. Pray with Thanksgiving for the you will have to find an exercise, some Divine Viewpoint, you will have to exercise some insight into the sovereignty of God know, God Sovereign delee interacts with a mission to provide for and keep that Nation from going into utter chaos. Also have the wisdom to see that we may be an inch away from absolute destruction and chaos. And find Thanksgiving and thankfulness for that. Find it, it's there to be seen to be had. You should understand it.

First four, who desires all men to be saved them to come to the knowledge of the truth. So part of your prayer should be for salvation. One of the best ways we can interact with those people who are in leadership, the Deep States as it's called foot spray, that those people wherever they are get saved.

It's quite possible, we have people and pivotal situation but having come face-to-face with a person in the work of the Lord, Jesus Christ will be saved. Finding their pit bull position, Everything Will Change. We've seen it happen to rock stars all over the place. They're going along that you live there, hedonistic lifestyle and then suddenly they get saved transformed changed some of them. It seems to be a lot of mouths, but not a whole lot behind it. Others. I seen absolutely in their lives. Are transformed. Their kids are the priority of their life. There music their work. Everything is focused on the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. This can happen to those were in places Capital places. So pray for that response for there is one God. And one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus verse 6, who gave himself a ransom for all to be testified in due time.

Is it due time? Is a due time for these individuals. The testimony of the Lord. Jesus Christ is standing ready. Absolutely available at any instant, it is due time, anytime someone is ready to receive the Gospel. I recommend this I like to pray. Lord, I pray that you would open their eyes to understand. And to perceive the gospel, understand their sinful State, their need for you, that they might have a full perspective in a full view, an actual right, understanding the gospel that they might be able to have a free will response. Lord my desire is that they would be saved, but I pray that they would understand the gospel so they can have a free will to respond whether they reject it. Or whether they accept that that's up to them know we've been taught to not interfere with others in terms of their Free Will. I absolutely agree. But I also absolutely agree that sometimes people need to be slammed in the face with the gospel in awareness of the Gospel, a right? Correct. Full understanding over and over, and over again. So pray that again and again and again and again and again and again but those people those individuals that you know that you're thinking about others that you may only know abstractly as those in that place. Pray for that to happen for 7, for which I was appointed a preacher in Apostle. I am speaking the truth in price and not lying, but teacher of the Gentiles in faith and fruit know the next paragraph of 1st, Timothy 2 will get into the characteristics of prayer, as an aspect of leadership in the church and we'll deal with that. It'll be later time, but I just wanted to bring up this issue of, how do we in this situation, to situation of crisis with a nation that has rejected? God rejected, the Messiah are the wheels individual Believers in that situation deal with it. How did these Believers deal with it? Hopefully, this is how they dealt with it, as Paul has taught us could use it right mature, Grace oriented perspective. If they didn't, they were fools but they knew also that the end was coming that they must get out. Jerusalem, ad 70. They didn't know when it was going to happen, but it was going to happen. 8070 was coming.

So next we have rejection and acceptance. The point in our passage and acts is that we are seeing the side-by-side rejection of the Messiah and judgment with acceptance of the Messiah and blessing, as a result. Let me state that again, side-by-side rejection of the Messiah and judgments for rejecting and acceptance of the Messiah and blessing. As a result, we see a transition from the law of Moses from the Old Testament to the law of machine.

And you see as the Messiah for filled the prior laws and Covenants, he came offering a new law and a new coven. Having been placed in Christ Jesus. We are as it were as we are taught in Romans chapter 7. Dad to the fryer law. The mosaic tomorrow, we are done to it.

Like a prior spouse that dies, when that spouse dies, we are released from our bonds from our relationship to that individual. We are free to move on. So two, we are told have been placed in Christ. Jesus, we have been freed from the Mosaic law. We are now free to live the law of Christ. James talks about that one of the very first things he talks about. You have two ways you can live this life, be a hero. Or be a or here or only or bi here and do her soon. As I have mentioned previously, that is a big slap in the Jewish face because it has to be a cure to a Jew means to be a door. There's no such thing as a hero who doesn't do that's blasphemy What's wrong? It's not happening. You don't. Live that way ever. If you're here, you're due. What is wisdom about hearing and us doing what is foolishness about hearing and not doing the person who hears but doesn't hear is the fool to see that tension that's going on there. Throughout the Old Testament is brought to us through. We have a freedom to live this new life in Christ supernaturally, powered by grace. But looking back on the idea of the Fulfillment of Christ, even as he fulfilled, the law at Pentecost, we see that there is a double fulfillment that is happening with this outpouring of the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, fulfill the law.

We have the first fruits of his resurrection and we now have a second route which is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Let's talk about this. This outpouring of the holy spirit is a double fulfillment, a double fulfillment that we have happening in pain or the second harvest. The first harvest that which came with the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the, or the mess and the right, the first harvest that which came with the resurrection of Jesus Christ, I'm going to Pentecost the Second Harvest which has to do with the outpouring of God, the Holy Spirit. Route to things have been going on but are being Further full filled on this day of Pentecost were examining. The max Chopper to First John the Baptist.

Who said that one would come after him, who would baptize by means of the spirit. And by means of fire and this is a reference to Jesus who will baptize by the spirit.

Reference to your shua Jesus. He will baptize by the spirit. Succulents. We are you sure? Jesus himself. Who before ascending to Heaven, told the disciples, the following.

In Acts chapter 1, verse 4 and 5. He said, wait to receive the promise from the father. Not many days, hence just a few days. Wait, and you will receive the promise of the father. We see this, let's read it acts 1:4, and being assembled together with them. He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem. Go to Jerusalem. Wait, wait for the promise of the father.

not sounds like a euphemism and we could say that it is but it is simply that promise which the father Has established that they of the Apostles, the followers of the Messiah are to be getting ready for which he said, you have heard from me. So This Promise of the father, something that I've told you about, First five for John John, the Baptist for John truly baptize with water.

Do rightly baptize with water. He was going through a ritual of baptism. L. What does baptism with water? Do? Does the process of identification? And we have reviewed it and study? Then when you are moving from following one system, one rabbinical system or a pagan system, then you will come and you will be water. Baptized, so that you are now identified with the new system, So if you're moving from following Rabbi Hillel, and you are going to instead follow Rabbi Gamaliel. When you go to Rabbi Gamaliel school, they're going to require that. You be baptized, why? Because you're no longer identify with Rabbi Hillel school and thinking a teaching, but you are now identified as a follower of Rabbi Gamaliel and he is teaching. And his thinking, if you were a convert into Judaism, that is you're coming from outside. As a gentile, you cannot become a Jew, but you can become a proselyte and when you do, you will be required to be baptized why? Because you are no longer identifying with your Gentile routes. But you are identifying with the Jewish mindset, following after the Jewish Commandments, the Jewish god, the Jewish law, Etc. The what is John, the Baptist doing the same to all of you in his real, he who follows after me will baptize you in the spirit fire. He is the Messiah. The Messiah of Israel is the great. One coming after me, by merely a messenger in the wilderness. Preparing the way for the Lord.

And everyone who came. It was baptized in water, was identifying with the message of John, the Baptist. They're identifying with his saying the Messiah is coming right after the Messiah is here. The Messiah is upon us, that is the baptism of water for John. We read here. Truly baptize with water. That is an identification with his message, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit, not many days from now. It still means identification. John used water. The people might be identified. With this new Direction, they're heading with this new way, they're moving and living. But God is going to baptize the Believers in Jerusalem, on the day of Pentecost with the Holy Spirit.

But they might identify with this new mood. This new work of God, the Jesus is the Messiah. The Jesus is the source of Salvation. Understand who you she is, Jesus is and be baptized, as a turning, from all of the former ways in a receiving of the way, which Lord Jesus Christ has made available to them.

No enjoin 16.

We find the Jesus predicted that he would leave but would be replaced by another comforter that's found in John 16 verse 7.

So we see the Jesus does two things. He tells them to wait for the promise of the father. Go back in John 16. We need to read this as well. Nevertheless, I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away for. If I do not go away, the helper will not come to you, but if I depart, I will send him to you. No, that's important for a number of unique in pertinent reasons.

Number one, the ministry of multiplication.

You see Jesus was a single individual finite in his Humanity in the hypostatic union, his omnipresence is limited. He's not able to be everywhere with everyone at all times. He has limited himself to the God, man, who is finite like we are even though he is infinite in his deity, but he said he would send the Holy Spirit who is unable to be on the present and able to be there in the lies in the ministries of every single individual. So we have multiplication of effort and Ministry because Christ leaves God, the Holy Spirit, becomes the Mainstay, then of the spiritual life of the believe, the apostles. For dependents on the Lord, Jesus Christ throughout his ministry. It wasn't until Pentecost that they learned the dependence. On the ministry of God, the holy spirit in the same way that Jesus Christ in his entire life. And his entire Ministry had been dependent upon the Lord, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ exemplify for them, how to depend on, God, the Holy Spirit, and not on his own dfhack, Raga to. And so, to the apostles me, all the Pentecost has occurred will learn the same thing to depend on. God the Holy Spirit as he who fulfills and provides the supernatural needs to live and exist in the Christian Life.

Who is speaking of the Holy Spirit?

Right.

Right. Right.

Yeah, it's see it's a promise of the father. It's a I think it's a unique situation that we will find the text that show the both God, the father and God the son, sent the Holy Spirit to administer both in their deity both in their position.

I don't know, but they recorded it and they got it, right? And we understand what it means. So, at some point they did I Suspecting the bumbling, the apostles that they were, they probably didn't forget it on first brush. But by the time, the Holy Spirit does descend at that point, suddenly we see Peter understanding, everything completely differently. So something happens at that point and their entire Paradigm shifts is God, the Holy Spirit prepares, then imbues them with this baptism of the spirit and a preparation for Ministry. So it's clear that acts. 2 is a fulfillment of John 16 verse 7. John 16:7 and acts verse 14 and 5. So both an X in the first chapter in vacuum. John 16, we have both dual predictions by Christ, those statements which are fulfilled at Pentecost. This is not the ecstatic kickoff to a religious experience for a giant group hallucination. In fact throughout scripture, we find the God never operates like that through ecstatic experiences or hallucinations God. Nowhere teaches that kind of subjectivity. How do we know that? God, the Holy Spirit has been given to us. We have to rely on a subjective awareness. I just know that I know that's what the Mormons teach.

How do you know that you're saying? Oh God, the Holy Spirit came upon me. And I just know that I know. How do you know that, you know, it's a subjective experience that I have. It's an awareness that I have wide is the proof where is the objective reality of the situation. What we find is that there are three external objective confirmations other re of rival of a holy spirit that are taught here and Acts chapter 2 that we need to be aware of. We've mentioned that we worked at them. You may have heard them over and over but not realize that's what we're looking at. 3 objective confirmation. The god, the Holy Spirit has arrived as promised.

So, as to not mistake it as a subjective event, these objective criteria are put in place and recorded. We see first, or is an external sound a great, and disturbing sound like a great wind, like a tornado. It is a cacophonous sound, but there's no mention of a wind blowing, but it sounds like a great wind blowing. Like a tornado event is happening. So we have first the sound the men we have the visual appearance of fire clothes of fire that is tongues of fire. That's how we would describe a forest fire will. Look there's there's fire there there's fire, there there's fire. There were using this vocabulary would say, well, there's a tongue of fire and there's a ton of far. Can you see the Flames? Leaping up. We see the same thing in our own fireplaces. Tongues of fire separate little springing up spots of fire. That's what's being described here. Okay? To say apt in an appropriate way of describing the whole concept and how we observe fire looks like little tongues. We're leaping up. Remember James uses that to great effect, when he's dealing in chapter 3, which will get back to hear it sometime James chapter 3, he talks about the facts of the tongue being like, Flames of fire, he's using that illusion between thong. And tongues of fire because they burn and they'll eat and they go unexpected places and they caused destruction. So thirdly we have the objective that there is a miraculous speaking and languages. There were neither learned nor acquired naturally.

Individuals From Galilee did not learn all of these languages across the world but suddenly they are speaking in the apostles, her apparently speaking and rotating from one language to another so that everyone can hear these languages in their own mother tongue, okay? So, external objective in confirmation.

But when I get to the terminology outpouring and won't get started on this and then we'll pick it up again next week. So,

Outpouring wearecivil versus that. Use the term outpouring indicating that the Holy Spirit was poured out on the people in this outpouring is not a technical term, but does not mean in dwelling or filling of a spirit. But it is a general term that deals with all of the New Testament and New Covenant Concepts that apply. So we see outpouring and Acts chapter 2, 417 1833 10:45 will just get through this and then we'll close. So Acts 2, verse 17. It shall come to pass that in the last days as God that I will pour out of my spirit on All Flesh, your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see Visions your old men shall dream dreams.

So here is Peter quoting from the Old Testament. That there is a pouring out that is coming, which is this, this, which is happening. Now, is that pouring out of the Holy Spirit, okay, when we see in verse 18, the next verse and on my men servants, and on my maidservants I will pour out my spirit in those days and they shall prophesy. Do we have a gun? A reference to that new covenant? Work and Ministry of the spirit and is characterized as an outpouring. So, what we have happened in Acts chapter 2 is an outpouring of the spirit as it is described of the New Covenant that has to come at the second Advent, when the Lord Jesus Christ, put some play some Messianic Kingdom and he bases. All of that on a New Covenant that is, he's going to strike a New Covenant with them. Then at that point, Do we have many of the details of the New Covenant have been written out for us in the prophetic literature. Much of what we go through. In our Ezekiel class on Wednesday night is covering that is given his background of. What is this Covenant? What is going to be happening? What are the results of the Covenant? So this is being referenced here. Okay, or two verse 33, we read their for being exalted to the right hand of God and having received from the Father, the promise, I'll go Holy Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ ascended. He was enthroned or he was placed in session. If he got his rulership from Heaven, at the right hand of God, the Father not of his Messianic Kingdom but he is placed in that place of authority received meaning his work, his righteous work on Earth was acceptable to God and so his place at the right hand

Having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit. He poured out this, which you now see and hear. so this tongue stuff that you're seeing these languages your hearing in your own, Mother tongue. This is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the Jesus Christ. And Heaven has just accomplished. It's showing number one that Jesus Christ and his ministry are valid member to something, we're going to be seeing those that the authority has passed of the Apostles of the church, God the holy spirit is a thunder, Katie the ministry of the Apostles, part of what we see unraveling in the book of Acts, it's really helpful to see it really gives you great inside. As you read through these passages of studying is to know that God, the holy spirit is a Fanta kating. The authority of the Apostles. God, the Holy Spirit. Does the work your boss is never have the work. They never had the ability to do Miracles. It's always God, the Holy Spirit, just like it was God, the Holy Spirit, doing the Miracles in the work, for the Lord. Jesus Christ. Now, he's doing that for the apostles before he was doing it with Jesus Christ. The Jesus Christ would be a Seneca rated as the Messiah. The king of Israel. Now, he's doing it. So the apostles would be a thunder cated as the sent ones of the Messiah who's establishing a new work. So, listen, this is been approved as shown by these Miracles being done by these Apostles. So what are the Miracles? All about it showing that the apostles had the authority, that there were words or authoritative the most, the cannon in the scripture that is written, as a result of the authority given by God by God, the Holy Spirit to the apostles Why one of the reasons we're always looking for every single author of the New Testament? To either be an apostle or one who is associated with Apostles. So Luke was not an apostle, but he was with them, he was there and he was about throughout the formation of the church. Mark was not an apostle, but he was with an apostle. For great generations of time. James was not an apostle but he was the brother of Christ. He was a leader of the church and he was with the Apostle. So to Jude brother cries with the Council of Jerusalem, okay? So we have all these individuals, everyone is associated with that Authority, which God, the Holy Spirit has put his stamp on a report out this, which you now see you in here. So, the speaking in tongues, but you know, that there is a thorny given associated with the apostles, but also, There is Judgment that comes with it. We will follow up more with that we have touched on that. I think a great deal but we'll come back to it again. Brent, finally act 10:45 the most of the circumcision who believe were astonished as many as came with Peter because the gifts of the holy spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also so interesting.

So I'll give you these points here, then it won't will close out chlorine as a general broad term for all the new Ministries that would come to the church age believer. So it includes the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Dim dwelling. That's not Holy Spirit. I'm sorry should be holy spirit. The indwelling of the holy spirit in every believer, good giving of spiritual gifts to every Believer. By the way, do you know what your spiritual gifts are? Are you living room? Are you using them? If not, you're a failed Christian, who does not know your place in life is like a person was not recognized, yet that they are part of the royal family of God, if you do not know, what your spiritual gifts, you are a lame duck Christian, and you are not walking.

In the fullness of who God has called you to be fusions talks about sitting in the riches of who we've been established to be in Christ. Jesus walking in the gifting that he has given us in Christ Jesus and standing firm in the understanding of who we are in Christ. Jesus if you don't know your spiritual gift and you aren't living it. You're missing an entire aspect of a supernatural thought she'd be the normal Christian Life, it's normal. It's abnormal to not know your spiritual gifts. The sealing of the Holy Spirit to every believer at the instant of Salvation, securing them for eternity. And finally The Filling of the holy spirit that entire Ministry of Feeling by means of the spirit. The empowering enabling Ministry of God, the holy spirit in our supplies for Supernatural, normal Christian, Living purposes. Next week we'll come back and we'll look at languages tongues in the purpose there. So we're going to step back into that a little bit more and then we'll keep on moving through the book of Acts chapter 2, let's close our prayer, Joey father, we thank you for this time, thank you for the ability to focus in on your word. Pray that you would cause us to cogitate. And think through these things, we, we find ourselves in Courage, exhorted, Lord, not put under any type of guilt trip. Lord, but we are to buy Grace. Operate by Grace, we come to an understanding by Grace. We learned the things of your word, and then we find our life changing. We are enabled by Grace, we are powered by Grace, is your work from beginning to end. So we walked in and functioning teach us more and more, we might be those who Thrive and exhibit, the concept of Grace to all around bored. And most of all, we thank you for the personal private life. You've given us maybe one where we find ourselves focused and I am a direct prayerful relationship with you Moment by moment day-by-day Instant by instant constantly praying constantly interceding cause us to have a spiritual wife and walk which is that which glorifies you We thank you that that's all been provided.
