The Power of Trust in the Unseen

Hallelujah. You are making your way to your seat before you sit down at once you reach over to somebody and tell them good morning. How many tell somebody good morning that you care about that. You're thinking about them. That you have something that you want to release to them, not want to release it to you this morning. Hallelujah. I meant. How are you doing? I know you're believing God for something. They meant good morning, Alex. Good to see you still.

Hallelujah. We started a new series last week and then if you guys get a chance to get to the Facebook page, it was on the Facebook face. It's on there now and then the total life to pay. Remember the series, exponential, and how we talked about excellence and and what excellent was because God has given us his Excellency, we talked about how his excellence in Us and how it really looks. Okay. House for some of us, we feel like it's, you know, a little bit big yet because it's a lot to really take on the Excellence of God into our excellent. How God gives us opportunities and experiences and those experiences produced the Excellence of God. And then after we got that, we understood that is not a situation where you looked up and you're just growing according to you know, what you could sign them in your mind and heart but that's what God has for us is that he's like putting an exponent next to it because of God. Do you think the rate of G so it'll Decay 2, the Jeep? Kevin to the guardtower a man, or are candy do to The Godfather or for that matter. Patricia to the guide power, you are not having it in your own strength. God has given you the ability to grow exponentially in him and ask if you are getting closer to him in your reading, his word and you're learning more about. You are in a position where this growth is happening, is happening now last week because as you're growing exponentially, you will come up and gets challenges. And sometimes those challenges will cause you to have to think about whether you want to do the you thing or the God, damn, this thing for me and happens often sometimes as a moment-by-moment on Sundays because some days I just, you know, I just Come on, but I keep coming because I keep coming. I have to make a decision. Is it going to be my way or God's way? And we remember last week, he talked about his ways. They hired it. So we just had to kind of make a decision that we're going to take the higher thoughts when it's most often. The most likely that we would have our own way. Anybody experience that you running that situation and you just don't understand how you got there. And then when you get there it's like, oh, I have a choice to make it. I can so handling, let me just tell you about 1. Then we got to jump into the summer because I really think it's important for us to get the visual be replaced except in the moments. So because I hurt my leg. I sometimes travel and have to experience.

Use of a wheelchair. If we're traveling in the car, I don't have to worry about that. But if we're on the plane, because of how the distance is from, where we coming into the airport to where I have to use the wheelchair, and using the wheelchair, I have to be, depending on, you know, a person to push me. And if my husband is not there, sometimes all of the things that need to go into getting the assistance that I need, even though special assistance may be on my ticket and all of his other stuff may be happening. I don't always get the level of attention that I may need to have. People will forget about me and it's not necessary that is in their mind and forget about me but if they put you in the computer and they're shorthanded, sometimes things, don't always measure up. Well, such is the case with yesterday. I was in the airport and everything was going to really, really well. As I say, push me up to the gate under time and I was excited because I was like, yes, amen, no hiccups. I was traveling without my husband, and I did it. And then I was able to manage and not that I would think that I have to have been there. For me, he handled everything I don't have to worry about anything, she takes care of it all, and I appreciate that. And I really appreciate it because I was like, man drawer. I just am so thankful for being able to travel with him up. In this case yesterday, Southwest was shorthanded. And the people who got me there in the wheelchair, there were about eight wheelchairs. People who needed help. That's the first time I've seen that many people who were in wheelchairs but they were all coming back to LA like I was and it was just a lot of them and the people who brought us up there, they had put us in disarray, it was like, wheelchairs kind of everywhere, they didn't like it. And so I get that could have been disconcerting for the gate agent who came in, is it called off and he was the only person working vet, and when he got there, he walked in and he was like Checking to see if he comes over and he makes an announcement to Dad's and I'm on my Facebook, my Facebook FaceTime with my daughter, having a conversation, he tells me, turn that off. I need to talk to him. You might want to turn that off and it was the way he said it, if my spirit was annoyed immediately cuz I said, turn that off, And then from there, he went on to say that this is a mess and see if all of us have put ourselves.

This is how they brought us up here. What you need to be in a single-file line, I'm like, okay, so what do we do about that? Is there were some people who were in the wheelchair who would not have even been able to get out of the wheelchair to put themselves. that yes, I would have probably been able to make that happen, but there was some other people who would not have been You need a certificate. You need to be in a single-file line and I'm like okay so And he starts moving a couple of people and he moved me last because I guess I angered him because of the fact that I said we didn't put herself there. Anyway, they went on and he says, well if any of you are walkers, If you want to get on the plane you going to need to answer when I say that. It's now time. You going to need to get up from these wheelchair just walk. I'm not telling you you have to walk. I'm just saying if you want to be first on the plane, And I'm like, what? I would settle for being last on the plane. If you would have been, I had the assistance to get all the way down the jetway. Because it was a distance. But the way he handled it, I had to really make a decision on his father. Split-second decision is. Is it going to be by you? Cuz I get that could have gone through. Very quickly. And even though most of you know me as being very calm and kind and and soft-spoken and most situations by slush froze up and that was taking me back to patients BC before Christ. Okay, I'll ride, let's turn on the camera. Okay, let's get some footage and holy spirit, was there? Calming me every second of the way my daughter, who was still on, until some of this was just like, okay, what's your flight number? Where are you? Cuz she wanted to go customer service. And how do I get my mother to help? She needs where she is right now? What's the flight number do you know his name? And I wouldn't give her the information and I got off the tablet so I can get on the plane.

I might go, this is not for me. This wasn't even about me. This is where all of the other onlookers and this is for the gentleman who is having the issue. Because even with all that he was doing, all I kept doing was treating him with kindness. And the person behind me the general. He said, thank you sir. And I mean, it's me, I knew that meant to say, what he did was was different and he can barely walk. He got a wheelchair to keep grab his stuff was in there.

And I was like father let me be an instrument for you in this moment. Let me get past my issue and my sister I was bothered I really was but was enough to take precedence over Kim.

I had to step back a minute and say, do you know what? Let the kingdom prevail. Remember, last time we talked, it was Kingdom over, right? Allowing the kingdom to be more prevalent than our common attitudes, in our common feeling that our common stock process.

Today we're still not at the Kingdom prevails, but it's going to be about faith over fear.

The power of trust in the Unseen.

Let's go to 2nd Corinthians 4:18. You can see it up here.

And I know this is a breakup of a sentence because there was something that happened before. There's anybody have 2nd Corinthians 4:17 want to read it for me very loudly.

Hold on for our light Affliction, which is but for a moment, keep going.

Is working for us a far more exceeding. An eternal weight of Glory. Now read with me, what the rest of it is, as we look not to the things that are seen, But to the things that are on, for the things that are seen are transient, But the things that are unseen are eternal. Hallelujah.

We're really talking about the power of trust in the Unseen.

A lot of attention is put on. When you can see.

I've heard people say this, I believe it when I see it.

You oppose something to them? That this is going to happen if that's going to happen, or are you going to get this? And you got to get that? I remember, I was telling somebody that I was excited because I, when I was getting a house, the one house that I was getting at that time, I've been bigger than any other house that ever had. And it was very beautiful and have a lot of things that, you know, special to me. And it was special to me because I'm very good friend of mine and her husband who had the house building head stapled scripture, all over the frame of that house. And so I didn't really care so much about how the house looks on the outside. But the fact that it was scripture say for to the friend that was important to me, it was like, wow, I just thank the Lord that I'm going to be able to pray and a place. That was crafted with such a scared that they put the scriptures on the holy word of God on the frame. To be reminded as a memorial to the god, that made it possible. And so I was carrying on that Legacy and I was all excited.

And some people have the attitude. I believe it when I see it. How are you?

You don't have the means you don't have to credit. You don't have to if you don't have that. How are you going to make that happen? Then after I lived in the house, when I was in prison, you know how people say? I don't know anybody, if there's never been to prison and, you know, I have had that experience. Amen. Hallelujah. For the second time he had this experience with you because I know that it will resonate with son, of some of you. I was in there and some people were talking about the houses that they added homework houses that they had and it was sharing about deal with this when I lived in this house and this was going on with it and that was going on and you had this kind of furniture, that kind of furniture, they looked at me and they said pastor patients. What kind of house did you go? And so I try to explain to them about the house that we were in which just so happened at that time, had to have been on 4.9 Acres. Which 10,000 square feet.

Beautiful Creek Water and I was excited about that because it was a gave me a memory for a moment of something that was beautiful that got it done for us and interesting Lee enough.

A person who is there, said she didn't live in that house. The other ladies and they told me later. Cuz they don't have the ability to have faith to believe that, something like that would have been possible for someone like me.

How many times have you been in a situation where you were experiencing?

People, you're around, people in your family, are your friends or your? I don't want to say your colleagues with people that are your Associates. Maybe looking more at the things that are seen and judging you, by what you wear or judging you by how your hair looks or judging you by the kind of car, you drive, or the fact that you don't have one or judging you, by the kind of bag you carry. So, it's like that. You got a Walmart bag? Oh no. You coming with groceries and they see is Dollar Tree and it's like they're judging you by the fact that you shop at Dollar Tree. I will never forget, one of the persons that I thought to be very close person to me at the time I invite her at your house, that I was in. And I'm living in the house of working from the house and she was like, this is so beautiful. I let me use the restroom to go to the restroom. Came back to the restroom and then we had more time to talk. And later another person that went to church with us at The Potter's House of Bishop Jakes and kind of interesting. One of the people who were but worth working Hospitality came and told me that it is just me and said, oh yeah, she was at my house and when she was at my house she said that she had a beautiful house and she has stuff from Dollar Tree in there.

I don't know exactly what causes us some kind of way.

when we are looking so much as a seam, we judge things.

And as I was really looking into the scripture 2nd Corinthians 4:18 and we get you the part. Paul said to them, as we look not to the things that are seen But to the city center of that part of the scripture. Really woke something up in me. How can we train ourselves?

To look at. The things that are more often that we look at the things that are seen. Guess what? Process here is it things that are seen are temporal?

Phase change. But the things that are unseen.

They're here, forever.

You have to challenge yourself to fix your eyes on the Unseen.

Fixing your eyes on the Unseen will cause you to be able to withstand all types of challenges.

There be many many, many times where I've got something in the mail that can have me feeling some kind of way because it was like, okay with this is Grace this game, but I have no idea where the funds are going to come from to pay it and add some point. When my children were young, I became enamored with a concept. That was God's responsibility to take care of all of my requirements. Why would I be coming there?

And I chose. To make that a part of my consciousness. Everything that came to me had to go through that filter. Whatever it was. It went through the filter that if it came, it was requirement of a guy's responsibility.

Just might if somebody did something to me, that was not correct. He went through the filter of vengeance. Is mine, was his responsibility.

Those were things that were a part of the fabric of my being so my life depends on it. By husband can tell you. When he met me, I was in that Consciousness that would happen and it would be like it's going to that filter. This is not mine. Sorry. I could have done two things, but I could Return to Sender because I knew I was going to take care of it or I could have ignored the fact that I feelings about it were thinking about the history, it was in the bank account in the progress and all of that stuff. Let me be at peace. I meant. Hallelujah, Hebrews 11 and 1. Now, Faith is the Assurance of things, hoped for the conviction of things not seen by trolls, to use this particular translation. Because of two words, The translation coming directly from the Aramaic assurance and conviction. Assurance and conviction. When you look at the word convention, what do you think about most of us are thinking about I what a court case?

They were convicted of murder. That was convicted of robbery that were convicted of something. What goes into a conviction. Conviction is a group of people. Get together in a courtroom one person for dies, right? The judge. Two people. Prosecutor. And maybe a district attorney or whoever else is on the other side. Art. They put together arguing, this is the way I see it. And this is the way it happened. The way I seen. This is where it happened and a group of people call the jury or the judge give me to make a determination based on the argument, right? And based on that, determination that is made. One of two things happens eloquently. Put it this morning, either the case to be dismissed

Or the person will be convicted. Unity is constantly putting forth arguments. Constantly doing the temporary stuff. The conditions, the circumstances that asked that we can see them. Because he wants us to side with him. And if we agree with him, guess what happens, we get what we say.

It's been simple so many times. God is already made, the decision is already settled in heaven forever but we side with something else in strange. What would have been? the scripture here tells us now, Faith is

Not, maybe now face could be. Now, face, might see know. Now face is

Is is forever.

Now, Faith is the assurance. When you sure is there anything else that you can be?

There's no doubt insurance.

if you are assured that the things you hope for, Are there? Can anything else get in?

Is that since that, chalice right there and poured water all the way up to the top? Should I get anything else in it?

I might be able to change the color of the water. But if there's water in there, I guess what else can't get in there? Nothing else. No more water be going there. No salt. I can go in there and try to make some stuff but it's not do what? It's going to overflow. What I'm trying to get you to understand is if you are assured. Of the things that you're hoping for, then nothing else can change it. So, your face is the activator that makes you sure.

Now, Faith is the Assurance of the things you do for the conviction. Meaning that it's been weighed and argue against things. All of the conditions, all of the circumstances, all of the other things around and you got a conviction, then what you were hoping for already is

even though you can't but see it. It's facing the enemy. Happy face means, focusing, on, unseen realities. That God has put in place. What's real to most people is what they can touch.

I can't touch the water to send that bottle but I know someone is in there.

And that's just as real to me as a fact that I'm touching the outside of it and so much so that I open the top and do what are drinking and know that it was real. You got to have that kind of insurance about the things that the Unseen God can do in your life. Even though you can't see it, even though you can't taste it, even though you can't, even though, it might seem, you have got to be a short.

Convicted.

Leaving. It is done.

When you have that Assurance in the Unseen realities of God's promises that his presence, not merely the visible and the temporary circumstances, then you can make that shift or for that matter, replace the other doctor that can be coming.

You can put them. You can arrest them and put them over to the side. You can let the kingdom Prevail for you in that area. because, The supernatural can only happen. In the absence of that kind of doubt, right?

Be at peace.

Then you have to challenge yourself to understand the temporary nature of circumstances, man. How we focus so much on Something, Real Gone. In such a short. Of time.

I learned this when I hurt my ankle, but if you have ever talked about how I tripped over the threshold in the closet, in our third floor, but we had a friend, roll on the third floor of one of the houses where we were living. And I thought I broke my ankle at first because it's swelled up so bad that I almost passed out. Hurting. I mean, I have never experienced that kind of pain in childbirth. It hurt that bad and let me just tell you that God did something for me cuz he taught me about how to use.

I do space in a way that I have never used fake. I spoke to my body and commanded it to come into alignment with work. The word of God said, which would be healed, right? The whole, but I also spoke to my body until the total that I know this is happened. So I don't need you to give me this kind of pain anymore cuz I recognize that the pain was an indicator. It was designed God. Designed it to give me a signal. Hello? Something happened. Do something about it. And once I knew that, okay, his ankles got a problem. I needed to be able to tell the body. Okay, we do the payment. OK, Google, okay, I mean I'm inside my body, telling my body. Because I didn't notice me to lay hands and say, be healed and expect by the swelling, to go down and expect something to happen and not deal with the internal stuff. Best external internal was I needed to control the situation. I need my music from to go into effect that is the white blood cells to go into effect. I needed all of the things to be working in the profession in which God created them. Immediately, even though my body was in a fight or flight mode, and I need you to understand that would buy, these are in fight or flight mode. Only the essential things are operating. The nursing room can tell you that. That's why they have to give you medications, to make sure certain things keep going the way they're supposed to fly because the body goes into emergency mode. And it sucks certain things you don't need to do that. We got an emergency.

God created that way. So it's not that it's a confused. Is that is concentrating on the main emergency. But what the emergency was handled by base, now I have to tell the best offense is a body. Okay. Got this, I need you guys to get back into Motion come back into a lion. You can I go Ro white blood cells? Do your job is supposed to come on, red blood cells. Carry

By the time we were going to take me to the house. When I say we me and my girlfriend because we're having a woman's and they caught my husband said, what do you guys want us to do? And he said, wait, don't take it to the hospital yet. I'm on my way.

He was coming. So I was waiting while I was waiting, the pain was getting more and more to where I almost couldn't bear it. And I had to continue to do what I say to my body. I don't care that you were doing what you're doing. What I do care about is that you follow, what God put in place. Be sealed.

Coming to Alliance. Junior job.

In Jesus name. Hallelujah. And by the time we got to the hospital, there's so much information that can really tell whether it was a break or not.

All of a sudden it was like, okay, it was not broken. Give me some crutches but you don't need a cast.

You won't need to stay in the hospital and you won't need all this extra medication. You can take some Tylenol, will give you a couple of, get over two or three pain pills for the next couple of days. And I kid, you not.

I wasn't using the crutches. I was back in shoes.

Hallelujah. Chase over fear, fear would have had me. Oh my God. Is it broken? How long am I going to be off my feet? Face that I can't afford to be off my feet. I got too much to do.

So let me find out exactly what I need to be saying. And once I got that in the order, I put those words in my mouth, the words that align with scripture. Hallelujah. Amen. You have to challenge yourself to understand the temporary nature of circumstance.

Change.

Hallelujah. Let's read change for 13 and 14. Now listen you who say today or tomorrow? We will go to this or spend a year there carry on business and make money. Do you not even know what will happen tomorrow? What is your life? You are a Mist that appears for a little while and then vanished while eyes are short in the stead of what God has done over time in history, we have a very short time in this Earth, real. Our spirit will live on. But I'm talking about from the day that we were first here in the day that we leave here, the physical body That's a very short span of time. I was looking on the internet and I saw that there was a gentleman who was 130 years old. It was talking about how he lives his life, what he does to maintain life and how you wasn't planning to go anywhere anytime soon. And even with a hundred and thirty years in comparison to Methuselah that's a short time. Right.

In comparison to how long the Earth has been here, that's a really short time. And yet we sit, we tend to put more emphasis on the circumstances that sometime they only last 48 hours.

We're dealing with something and we're thinking about how my God. I don't have enough food to get you tomorrow.

That's a short time. and the god of the universe who has constantly may your life.

Is looking at that that I got you.

It's already on the way to your house and you're saying, oh my God, it's just I don't know what I'm going to do. Any saying it's temporary. It's temporary.

when you have to look at the concept of challenging yourself,

understand that temporal nature. Of your visible circumstances sometimes. It takes an acceptance.

Sometimes you have to think about the fact, I'm human. Yes, God lives in me. And my spirit is spiritual. But there's a human capacity in me as well. And that human. This is what is reminding me that the circumstances looming

What's the spiritual is reminding me that God is able and capable and then he will do. I meant exceedingly abundantly above whatever we can ask or think as it says in Ephesians 3:20.

Accepting your Earthly circumstances as temporary and it helps you to minimize fear.

When you can tell your circles that do you know what? You'll be gone tomorrow.

Are you ready on the next day, you transmit you change. I am not giving you more regard than I give God. Because I want to tell you that. When you consider your circumstance, you are giving it more consideration than the god of the universe. Who has the ability to change that circumstances in a moment.

I want you to hear me cuz this is so important for most of us. God's ability to act has more to do with the way we see things. Did anything, he's already done it and we don't see it that way.

When thinking about it as being not done, so we don't go far enough to even see him do it. I remember God speaking to me so clearly about something that I needed him to do. And I just need you to do this guy that you don't, you see how thankful I am that it? Don't you think? I'll just wait for you to see it that way.

I mean, stick speaking to me in my good ear.

Wow, father. When I was living in Manteca, California and I had this mind my first daughter and I was in a situation where something happened with my paycheck and was working at the teacher and I couldn't have it on time. And I have very little food in the house and I was nursing her but it was I need a food to eat in order for me to be able to nurse her and her father was there the time. And I was like a father, you know, this is not normal. We don't have situations where we don't end up with no food. You know. Don't understand it. What is the purpose of it? And I mean, I'm just going through all of the stuff in my mind. Don't you see? Don't you know? Did you see? Why is this happening to me?

I've been on Facebook, I go to church. I start the people. I work at a Christian school and I don't get it.

And while I'm psycho my face, is he saying it's already done. I got up and I went to the door and open the door and there were bags of groceries. I have no idea where it came from. I think by then that brings tears to my eyes because I could not even spasms. A guy would do something like that for me. Anybody about my paycheck situation. The only people that knew where the people at the school. But yet, they were Groceries on my doorstep and then I go to try to explain to my landlord that I was going to need a few more days to pay the rent. And when I walked in there to say something, I meant to give you the person your receipt at the what person is the person that can you send to come pay your rent at 7 to pay my rent?

And I'm still to this day. Don't know who that was.

Somebody didn't like the Lady Gaga and figure some groceries, help. You understand that we have to see things differently when you stop looking at the circumstances, start looking at the person's food meets your requirements.

Then you'll be able to see things differently. It changes your view of what it is that you're living for.

There you go.

Challenge yourself to understand the temporary nature of your circumstances. God is not a respecter of persons like that he meets the needs of his people. He's not going to not do it for him and do it for her. Is there he is. There he is.

He made, the two days later for me. Then they came for me though, based on what he's working out, but the fact of the matter he's coming, he's coming. For his namesake is coming.

Challenge yourself to embrace. God Eastern Avenue.

When you are embracing The Eternity of God, it changes.

Things to try to rise up in your life and people that try to make themselves to figure this guy to make themselves. Got I had somebody tell me I am God. Somebody with the time was beating me, then I dropped him in the name of Jesus. Jesus come save you out of this.

when I tell you that man tried to put my hands on a plate glass window But God said, he didn't tell me that moment where it was some kind of life, as he's trying to get my head in the window, like not getting into the window. I'll see Rosa but whenever he just ran out, got in my car and left.

I was like, Father, how come in that moment? He just left like that.

And is that the he ever answered me in the way that I would think it's like where I can hear him open years later but I see what his life is like now. I got my answer.

I happen to know that. Future that way I talked about where vengeance is mine. Saith the Lord and He will repay and I put stuff in there. Was you who mistreat me or just unconscionable and vengeance?

Can anybody?

Get recompense like God.

I don't care what you're experiencing. I don't care who says things have been through. I don't care, unless I do care. I care about you, but what I'm saying is that, I have no respect for what it is that you've experienced. I am telling you is coming to rescue you, he will come. And a guy says he's going to take care of. You will take care of you because he does not lie.

His promises, don't expire.

He continuously it scary for us. That wasn't a one-time deal.

His care is continuous. Hallelujah from Everlasting to Everlasting, you are Elohim.

when you Embrace eternity of God and offers this Foundation that you can stand on,

It diminishes fear. Cuz we're trying to ride that cuz I know my God is Everlasting. He is coming from

Cease me. He's concerned about me. He's concerned about what I'm concerned about.

My daughter was hot dogs, having surgery and we couldn't get there. Is that point us to go where we physically could not go. They wanted to do the surgery in the cost. Whatever was happening with her heart. Say, one thing should be happen. when they got in there, there was sure they need to do surgery date for by the way, they get in there and it's like there's no blockage When I talked to the nurse, this is how God is. He's concerned about what concerns me, I called and nobody can get me to the person to give me the news, but let me tell you,

trying to, The first cell phone with the nurse. Call me back. I called her back. This is all over. I was trying to tell you There's no blockage I said, but the doctor said it's too. And I know, I know, right? No pocket.

I know you did that to her eye. But I know you also had it happen the way you did it for me because I was so concerned.
