Equality Act is a good example to help you understand what we are up against.
In an obvious assault on the High Court, which just last year overturned the genocidal horror of Roe v. Wade, pro-death leftists have reintroduced the “Equality Act” in the U.S. House as HR 15. This bill already has 212 co-sponsors — which includes every Democrat. If only a few Republicans sign on, this bill will pass even over the Speaker’s objections.
HR 15 includes both radical LGBTQ and abortion-up-to-birth provisions. If the so-called “Equality Act” passes, late-term abortions — even gruesome abortions that rip off limbs — will be federally protected.
The tremendous work we have done to end abortion will no longer matter if HR 15 passes. Every state law will be overridden. No one, not even religious institutions or doctors, will be allowed to refuse to participate in the murder of the unborn. No person, church, school, hospital, doctor, pharmacist — no one — will be able to escape HR 15, the Equality Act. With a few sheets of hastily written proclamations, the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) will be effectively dissolved.

No Christian or religious adherent will be safe from the reaches of this deviant and life-ending bill because even our “perceptions” and “beliefs” (using the bill’s own words) will be forced to comply with the radical left’s sterile design for America’s future.

The bill applies to “pregnancy, childbirth or a related medical condition.” Treatment for pregnancy, in the eyes of abortionists, includes the “right” to kill the child in a mother’s womb. No parental notice, consent, or informed consent — no restrictions whatsoever — on abortion from conception to birth.

After Christian website designer Lorie Smith won a huge victory last week at the US Supreme Court protecting her right to stand for marriage as the union of one man and one woman, the homosexual/transgender lobby immediately turned their wrath on her.
The leading gay lobby group in the country, the misnamed Human Rights Campaign (HRC), called Lorie’s victory, “Alarming…unprecedented…radical.”
That was a dog whistle to all the haters and thugs in the LGBT lobby, and their political allies.

Calls and emails to her home have promised Lorie they are coming to kill her, and her family. People have said they hope she will be raped. Others told her they want to burn her house down.
Lorie told a news reporter that her website was targeted by an orchestrated attack intended to shut her down. “My website crashed with over 10 million attacks, messages saying things that would make your skin crawl.”
The Human Rights Campaign has not condemned the violent threats against Lorie Smith by members of their community. Instead, they want to codify punishment for her, and for all of us who agree that marriage is solely the union of one man and one woman.

After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade with their Dobbs v. Jackson decision, President Biden declared that he would continue to advance his anti-life agenda by any means available.
In October of 2022, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin (a Biden appointee) took action to use Department of Defense resources to pay for abortions. Secretary Austin issued a memo that circumvented the authority of Congress, and directed the Department of Defense (DoD) to use taxpayer dollars to fund time off, lodging, and travel expenses for the elective abortions of service members and their families.These actions attempt to circumvent the Hyde amendment which bans the use of taxpayer dollars to pay for abortions.
To defend life and depoliticize the Department of Defense, Rep. Ronny Jackson and Rep. Chip Roy of Texas drafted an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that would reject this memo and return our military to focusing on its fundamental mission, not waging Biden's culture war.
Heritage Action Key Voted this amendment on Thursday, and it passed the House in the evening with a vote of 221-213.

John 6:54 “54 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”
These are the words of Jesus. from the gospel of John.
Imagine you were among the crowd hearing those words for the first time. J Jesus is still a new teacher that has started attracting a sudden following especially among the impressionable uneducated people. The officials of the day have a way of controlling the news — and the news is that they do not think much of Jesus. He is a nobody from a hick town. They have issued warning s declaring that his teaching is false… and they have many witnesses. He routinely breaks that sabbath laws of moses. And has been known to call God his own father. His ego knows no bounds, he has been claiming equality with God himself! You are on the fence… he appears to have some words of wisdom, but now this. teaching cannibalism… hard not to see it any other way. it is quite literally what he is saying.

Within the context of the teaching John 6 it should be clear enough HE is using symbolic speech, and Jesus is not advocating real cannibalism. But for spiritual leaders that were already looking for an excuse to discredit and kill him this is a perfect sound bite.
18 This was why the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
I believe Jesus enemies grabbed hold of this and used these words to drive people away from Jesus.

The use of Symbolic speech, caused many disciples to leave Jesus! mostly because they failed to discern the that Jesus was using Symbolic speech , and were willing to listen to the poisoned words of Jesus enemies.
what is the lesson for us here today?

Last 2 weeks we examined Dreams and Visions…
This we we are looking at how God uses symbolic speech to communicate to us.
Of course if you read the gospels you see Jesus parables and symbolic speech very often. It was almost his primary way of teaching and speaking. It was so common for Jesus that his disciples that were with him for 3 years, start hearing him talk to them with direct speak on the last night in the upper room. they are amazed and comment on it.
29 His disciples said, “Ah, now you are speaking plainly and not using figurative speech!
It was a bit refreshing when he finally used Direct speech with them! This obviously points out that the typical situation was Jesus using figurative language.
Jesus said he spoke and acted as the Father and the holy spirit told him to act. this means God will speak to us this way too. And it is important we understand Him when he does.
19 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.
If jesus mostly talked to the disciple with parables and symbolic speech — and he was hearing all this from God directly.... than we need to expect that when God speaks to us he will often use symbolic speech.

I am Statements:
the bread of life,
the light of the World,
the door of the sheep,
the good shepherd,
the resurrection and the life,
the Way, Truth, and the Life,
the true Vine.
These incredibly powerful. the symbolic metaphors, are much better than simply saying God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life, because we each have direct experience with the value and power of food, the value of light when you are lost in darkness,
the lush vibrant green growth that comes when a branch is connected to the vine, but when disconnected - how in just a few days the crisping of the leaves, as the fall off breaking into dusty chips. The symbolic message communicates at a deeper-level and you can be reminded of the message every time you see the symbol.
The rainbow. - a symbol of God’s love and promise that judgement upon us will not come in the form of a flood again. It is ironic and that the demonic power behind the GLTBQAlphabet activists led them to pervert the meaning of that initial symbol of God’s love, and that most people who identify with that group have difficulty knowing God’s love and detest the idea that God may ione time bring a day of judgment. God’s Symbols appear to have power even with those who do not fear God.

IN Parables: Living water, yeast, seeds, vineyards, economics, soil, marriages, good Samaritan, a prodigal son, an owner of a vineyard, on and on it goes.
you have to be careful there is no universal decoder ring for this stuff… sometimes in Jesus parables Yeast is like Sin.. and other times it is a good thing.
First the parable captures you with a story of something we can relate to.
we pay attention to stores better.
Next the Parable has a clear meaning in the context of the story.
Finally it applies to spiritual concept that we need to understand.

God Our Father got a lot of mileage when he invented yeast… He knew he was creating a valuable bacteria that would allow mankind to make bread. - but he also knew he was creating an element that would be used as a symbol for allot of important spiritual concepts.
Most of the time God used it to make us aware of the incredibly contagious and power of sin.
I love how Jesus ties the Parabolic and symbolic language together with this miracles… remember the story of the feeding of the 4K…

5 When the disciples reached the other side, they had forgotten to bring any bread. 6 Jesus said to them, “Watch and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” 7 And they began discussing it among themselves, saying, “We brought no bread.”
8 But Jesus, aware of this, said, “O you of little faith, why are you discussing among yourselves the fact that you have no bread? 9 Do you not yet perceive? Do you not remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many baskets you gathered?
10 Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many baskets you gathered? 11 How is it that you fail to understand that I did not speak about bread? Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” 12 Then they understood that he did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
OK… so from our perspective in history the disciples seem incredibly dull.
Jesus uses the occasion of confusion about leven to show that even his Miracle of the loaves and fishes was not about physical BREAD… but spiritual bread. He was the bread of life… That he would feed us more than enough spiritual food to sustain us. ALL YOU NEED IS JESUS… everything you are looking for is in HIM. HE IS HERE! But some of you really will continue to search is all the wrong places… the harvest for this planting of wild oats in folly In pain, in destruction to you and those you love - will be a cost greater than you will want to bear. I plead with you to seek Jesus now with all your heart.
but this literal minded blindness of the Disciples is with us us today.
we get dreams and visions. and we often immediately think the elements in the dream or vision must be literal. They don’t have to be, and correct interpretation will depend on understanding if the dream is literal of figurative. This is not always obvious. we must seek God to get the wisdom. our own interpretation skills can be in error.
Note the warning Jesus is giving his disciples… the teaching of the Political and religious leaders was spreading like YEAST inside dough. — This mean that it would soon spread throughout their culture. - This is bad enough, but he commanded them to watch it, and beware of it lest it infect them too!
Let me just take this moment to point out this message is for us today. the Pharisees of our day are the political leaders, of our government, and teachers of our schools, and the judges of our courts, and they are spreading many evil teachings that are like yeast. they go even further to suppress any speech that would disagree with their teachings.
Take just one false teaching… sexual perversion the sin that destroyed Israel. And many churches are not watching and on guard against the teaching infection… but have joined with the world to cancel the words of GOD. On the topic of all sexual sin let me be very clear. God created the both the delight and safe limits of Sex. inside the Marriage covenant between a man and a woman. Anything else is a destructive perversion of what God created. He made it an knows how it can be used to bless us our families and our nation. He knows that using sex in any other manner will be destructive and corrosive — so In love he has prescribed the limits. Any attempt to get away with sin will produce in us a due consequence. God used symbolic speech to teach that truth also.. whatever you plant - you harvest, you reap what you sow.

“The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough” Matthew 13:33 and Luke 13:20-21
see how it is GOOD THINK now.. AND EXTREMELY Encouraging… The Gospel is going forth, and the whole world is near to having a Bible and Church in every single people group and language on the earth. This is a sign of Jesus return. So YEAST as a symbol of spreading through dough, has both positive and negative uses and you need to be careful.
We know the parables help us engage, and then seek, and then understand more fully!
This is a participatory experience. not spectator mode!
In the Old Testament Symbolism:
The Garden, Noah’s Arch, the tower of Babel, the faith of Abram, the sacrificing oh Abraham's SON Issac, Plagues in Egypt, crossing the red sea, Sinai, Wilderness, Promised land, all the things were a literal reality and also symbolic of life in Jesus. The Feast days as well.
The symbolism doe not stop there, but is baked into so many of the things the Prophets did.
• Hosea marries Gomer — God commanded Hosea to marry a promiscuous woman, and he married Gomer.
• Hosea redeems his wife — Hosea redeemed his wife as a sign that God loved the Israelites though they were unfaithful.
• Isaiah walks naked through Jerusalem — Isaiah walked naked through Jerusalem for three years as a sign against Egypt and Cush.
• Jeremiah damages a loincloth — Jeremiah bought a loincloth, hid it, then retrieved it after many days.
• Jeremiah goes to the potter’s house — God told Jeremiah to go to the potter’s house, and there he was given a message about Israel.

6 “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter has done? declares the Lord. Behold, like the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.
• Jeremiah breaks a jar in the Valley of Hinnom — Jeremiah broke a jar in the Valley of Hinnom as a sign that the kingdom of Judah would be broken.
• Jeremiah contrasts the Rechabites with Judah — Jeremiah contrasted the faithfulness of the Rechabites with the unfaithfulness of the people of Judah.
• Jeremiah prophesies that Nebuchadnezzar will come to Egypt — Jeremiah prophesied that Nebuchadnezzar would come to Egypt and defeat it.
• Jeremiah wears a yoke — Jeremiah put a yoke on his neck and prophesied to Zedekiah and the kings of surrounding nations to submit to the yoke of Babylon.
• Hananiah makes a false prophecy — Hananiah prophesied that God would bring back the temple vessels and Babylonian exiles in two years. He is lying and God has Jeremiah call him out on it.
• Seraiah visits Babylon — Jeremiah wrote his prophecies against Babylon on a scroll and sent it to Babylon with Seraiah. Seraiah read it and threw it into the Euphrates.
• Jeremiah buys a field — Jeremiah bought a field at Anathoth. He then prophesied that the Babylonian exile would end and fields would be bought again.
• Ezekiel acts out the siege and destruction of Jerusalem — God instructed Ezekiel to dramatize a prophecy that Jerusalem would be besieged and destroyed.
• Ezekiel acts out the exile — Ezekiel performed the actions of a person going into exile, then prophesied that the inhabitants of Jerusalem would be exiled in Babylon.
• Ezekiel eats nervously — Ezekiel ate and drank nervously, and prophesied that the inhabitants of Jerusalem would act the same way.
• Ezekiel’s wife dies — Ezekiel’s wife died, and he did not mourn visibly. This was a sign to his fellow exiles that they would not mourn the fall of Jerusalem.
• Ezekiel prophesies the reunification of Israel — Ezekiel used two sticks to symbolize the reunification of Israel under one king.
• Zechariah crowns Joshua — Zechariah made a crown and set it on the head of Joshua the high priest.
• Zechariah becomes a “shepherd” — Zechariah became a shepherd of the people and was rejected. He was paid 30 pieces of silver, which he threw to the potter.

Lets look at the flesh and blood scripture that I started off with to learn a few lessons.
John 6:47–71 (ESV)
47 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. 50 This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die.
51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”
52 The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” 53 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.
54 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. 55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.
57 As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”
59 Jesus said these things in the synagogue, as he taught at Capernaum. 60 When many of his disciples heard it, they said, “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?” 61 But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, said to them, “Do you take offense at this?
62 Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? 63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. 64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.)
65 And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.” 66 After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him.
67 So Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?” 68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, 69 and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.”
70 Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve? And yet one of you is a devil.” 71 He spoke of Judas the son of Simon Iscariot, for he, one of the twelve, was going to betray him.

God knew, and it was time to pull back from the crowds for a while.
His disciples had learned a valuable lesson - they needed to rightly determine when Jesus was using figurative or symbolic language.

Theses are the people pushing abortion, Transgender and attempting to make it impossible for Christians that honor god be able to hold down their jobs, be in the military, these people do not love God nor fear Him. Find better people to listen to. Its like Going to Satan for your news. there are much better places. The attack plan on Jedeo-Christian Values and the people that hold is demonic in nature. the longer you listen to their lies the more likely you are to believe them.
Obviously go to the Bible first and ASK GOD what he thinks.
But go to News sources you can trust. Epoch Times it the best I have found. for some out standing commentary the Daily Signal. Some of you all might have other suggestions? I you are getting your news first from a place you can trust then you will be able to spot the lies when you hear them from other sources. - and explain to others in winsome and powerfully loving and logical ways about why you hold the positions you have on today's key issues.
