ILLUSTRATION

It is an evidence that true religion, or holiness of heart, lies very much in the affection of the heart, that the Scriptures place the sin of the heart very much in hardness of heart.
Jonathan Edward
Ezekiel 11:19-21
19 And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, 20 that they may walk in my statutes and keep my rules and obey them. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God. 21 But as for those whose heart goes after their detestable things and their abominations, I will bring their deeds upon their own heads, declares the Lord God.”

Judgment Against Idolatry
6 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them, 3 and say, You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God to the mountains and the hills, to the ravines and the valleys: Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places. 4 Your altars shall become desolate, and your incense altars shall be broken, and I will cast down your slain before your idols. 5 And I will lay the dead bodies of the people of Israel before their idols, and I will scatter your bones around your altars. 6 Wherever you dwell, the cities shall be waste and the high places ruined, so that your altars will be waste and ruined, your idols broken and destroyed, your incense altars cut down, and your works wiped out. 7 And the slain shall fall in your midst, and you shall know that I am the Lord.
The Holy Bible: English Standard Version (Wheaton, IL: Crossway Bibles, 2016), Eze 6:1–7.

“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me.
Point 2 Im i my brothers keeper?
have you ever came to a stop sign and the light turns green.
If we believe Jesus was sent to this Earth to Redeem, the work cant stop with us. It has to continue with US.
Ephesians 2:10 “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
-When ourheart’s are broken, we’re deeply affected enough to actually find a way to bring about positive change.
-We pray with conviction without ceasin. We’re moved to action and (awoken) unable to sit still stand-by because we have SUCH A FIRE INSIDE OF US.
God desires that not one would be lost but all would be saved.
He sent our savior Jesus Christ into the wold to reconcile what was lost, to restore us to are full nature in him.

Hebrews 8:10 “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”
