Yesterday was the mark of a historic date 9/11 is an infamous day and a day that some woke up to the realization that his coming may be soon!

End Time Prophecy The times and seasons of the final end have been thought about and hashed over for centuries people are looking for some WW3 or an ICBM or some terrible thing to happen at that time. But I want to let you know that the times and the seasons no man knows!

1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 (KJV)

But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. 11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

1.  Times and seasons.

a.       It isn’t for us to know just when that day will be but it is important that we watch out for his return.

 Acts 1:7 (KJV)

7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

b.      Only that we should be careful to watch for his return!

Mark 13:32-37 (KJV)

32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. 33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. 34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. 35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

 That day is near!

Ezekiel 30:3 (KJV)

3 For the day is near, even the day of the Lord is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.

2.  Then Suddenly!

1 Thessalonians 5:3 (KJV)

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

a.       We who know Jesus as our saviour know already that day comes unexpectedly and suddenly it is those who don’t know Him that must be warned!

Matthew 24:42-44 (KJV)

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

b.      That day will be a day not like we are imagining

Peace and safety.

Daniel 8:25 (KJV)

25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

c.        Cares of this life will overtake many

Luke 21:34 (KJV)

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

3.  Be prepared that it not take you as a thief

a.        Be Ready for His return

Luke 21:36 (KJV)

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

b.      A time of falling away

2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV)

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

c.       We need to be ready now!

Zephaniah 2:2-3 (KJV)

2    Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff,

Before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you,

Before the day of the Lord’s anger come upon you.

3    Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth,

     Which have wrought his judgment;

     Seek righteousness, seek meekness:

It may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger.

Are you watching for Gods return?
